For those not familar with the Series Vikings, and all those who would like to know more about the characters, please read this.
Ragnar: King of Kattegat in Norway, married to Aslaug with whom he has four sons, by order of age Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd, and Ivar. Many times he has travelled to England and raided it, returning triumphant.
Aslaug: Queen of Kattegat, mother of Ragnar's sons and a volva, a witch that can see visions of the future.
Ivar the boneless: Youngest of Ragnar's sons, born deformed and treated as cripple by most people, is his mother's favourite.
Hvitserk: second oldest son, loves his brothers, enjoys battles and tries to find his own fate.
Valtar: King of Myrhult, amrried to his third wife with whom he has three sons, oldest daughter is Rùna, wants an alliance with Ragnar and travel to England as well.
Rùna: Daugther of King Valtar, blessed by the gods, more info folllows throughout the story :)
