"We'll do a quick check up first then I'll ask you to come back on Monday if you can". Of course he can, honestly this whole doctor situation would be the perfect excuse to not see his leader.
"Sure, I'll be there thank you". And the quick check up started and ended pretty well, no issues no nothing which is good news. Hari was about to walk out the room when a hand grabbed his wrist, which is his friend's hand.
Hari was questioning what's the movement about, his friend otherwise stayed quiet. After a solid 30 sec, Kuro finally managed to speak, "I forgot to ask for your phone number in case of emergencies". A small grin could be seen on his face.
Kuro went to his office and took a piece of paper and a pen for Chrono to write.
"Here you go, I must go now have a nice evening cya on Monday"
"Cya I'll try to text you this evening!"Hari smiled behind his mask before leaving his friend behind.
He walked his way out of the huge building, surprisingly even at night the hospital is filled up with people. He then started walking home.
Japan streets were full of people, big buildings surrounding these avenues and lights everywhere that even a blind person could see. Beautiful as expected from a country like Japan.
On his way back home, he was thinking about whether Kai's presence would be in the living room, kitchen or hallway, if it's the case then the situation would be quite awkward unless the other members were there as well.
As soon as he was lost in his thoughts, he was already in front of the Shie Hassaikai base. He was standing in front of the door for about 2min before he sighted and opened it.
Inside there was Shin and Toya watching a show in the living room, Tengai making dinner and Eri drawing also in the living room. The hallways were empty, even a fly's buzz could be heard except there is no fly, I mean it's logical especially if living with someone like Kai.
"Good evening Hari" both Toya and Shin said. "Good evening you two and Eri"
"Good evening Hari!" Eri said smiling.
He grinned of course, who can resist the cuteness of this little girl?
Hari looked around a little, he puts his backpack down and his mask off and sighted.
"By the way, sorry for today Toya. I was in a rush."
"It's fine, it's not a big deal anyways."
"Alright then."
Chrono was about to leave before he got interrupted by a question asked by Shin.
"Hey Hari, since you are the closest to Kai, do you know how he's doing since he hasn't really showed up today is he sick or something?"
"Huh, Kai not showing up today? Strange." Hari thought to himself. "I wonder why."
"No not really, has anyone of you checked on him?"
"No , we thought that he wouldn't like to have visitors unless it's you." Shin answered.
Hari stayed quiet, he doesn't want the others to know his current relationship with Kai I mean they wouldn't even believe it because Chrono's and Kai's relationship is literally a very great one they have a good bond with each other and they're both loyal and faithful to each other. Having the other members knowing that will probably be quite unbelievable at some point. Besides they're going to get back together but when? Don't know. Both of them are waiting impatiently for that day yet nobody seems to make a movement at least for the moment.
"Well I'm quite tired today,can one of you try and check for me please?"
"Sure we'll try to, but aren't you going to eat dinner first?" Shin asked.
"No, I'm not really hungry besides I bought some ramen incase I am."
"Alright, good night." Shin replied
"Good night Hari, get some sleep you really do look tired." Toya said
"I'll try to, thank you."
"Good night Hari!" Eri said smiling.
"Good night Eri."
And with that Chrono left the living room, he walked the hallways silently and stopped in front of Kai's room. He was lifting there, doesn't know whether he should try and fix his friendship or not yet.
After several overthinking thoughts, he continued his way to his room leaving Kai's room behind, he didn't dare himself to talk to him at least not now. "He doesn't have the guts" if you must put it this way, both of them don't know who's the faulty one in this situation. So it's either they both apologise at the exact same moment or nobody does. This is their perspectives, they may change their minds later but for now there isn't anything special. It's okay at least for Hari not talk to with Kai, but it would be very awkward for him to go work especially since he's the leader's assistant so tasks will be quite an issue for Chrono unfortunately.
The thing about Hari not having any problem with having a break from his friendship is because well Kai has changed ever since high school, it is quite understandable of course I mean people can change mentally so it would be the case with Kai but when chrono put it this way it's not about a small changement in Kai's mentality. No, Kai has really changed, it's like someone else is controlling him and that someone else gotta be "overhaul". (LMAO IF YOU WATCHED SPIDER-MAN 1 THAN YOU CAN ACTUALLY KNOW MY REFERENCE SHHXSJ)
He finally reaches his room his favorite part of the house, this place where he can do anything he wants without being disturbed or anything , he takes out his keys and open the door.
His room looks quite cozy, there is of course the essential furnitures which are his bed covered with a thick white overlay and a red blanket put delicately on the bed , the mattress is very comfy according to every single person who comes into his room. The bed is placed in the middle of the room which takes up quite a bit of space but it's still good, it's also placed in a nice spot where natural light and heat comes through the window. There is Two nightstands in both sides of the bed where he mostly puts a book if reading one or his phone or glasses, there is also a lamp on it and an alarm clock. The second essential furniture is the wardrobe which is built into the wall, it fits all his clothes and below it there is a big sort of drawer where he puts his shoes. In front of the bed there is a Smart Tv where you can guess he watches all his favorites shows and world news. And the most important furniture inside of his room is his office or his workspace, a table with a desktop computer on it, notebook where all his notes are written on it and a pen pot where there is a pencil and a blue pen next to the table there is a chair and also a book shelf where he places all his books and manga collections on it. For small furnitures, there is a lot of posters and paintings on the white walls and the place is surrounded by LED lights. The room has a very beautiful sense, it smells like fresh vanilla because of the bowl of dried petals and shells that have been smothered with air freshener. Next to the room there is a bathroom where you can find a shower, a toilet and a sink nothing really special about it. The room has a balcony which overlooks a beautiful pinkish park filled with cherry blossoms you usually can smell its odour especially in the morning.
Hari enters his room and puts his backpack on a chair and his mask on his nightstand, he took a towel out of his wardrobe and went straight to the bathroom where he took a shower.
He went out of it after a nice bath and went to sit on his bed, he covered himself with the soft red blanket on his bed took out his laptop out of one of the nightstand's drawer, while he was activating his device, his phone vibrated displaying on its screen an SMS from an unregistered number, he opened the message and it was his friend who texted him:
"Good evening Hari, I hope you're doing okay and that I'm not disturbing you :) it's Kuro by the way."
"Good evening Kuro, I'm doing better than before thanks for asking and no you are not disturbing at all you are welcome to text me anytime you want."
"That's nice to hear and thank you."
"You're very much welcome."

After that, Chrono turned off his phone and began searching for a show to watch.
