"What's up with you? You've been sighing too much."

Doyoung asked while still reading the contents of the folder he had in hand, slightly worried about her sister who laid on his office's couch whilst looking up the ceiling.

"I'm f-"

"Well, if you're going to say that you're fine... that's obviously not going to work," he interrupted and placed the folder on his desk to focus his attention on the latter. "Come on, tell me your worries."

Minjeong sighed once more before sitting up with her arms crossed, back laid on the backrest.

"I had two dreams today," she subtly tilted her head. "But my primary concern is the other one which haunted me."

"May I know what was the other?"

"Erm... you don't need to know," Minjeong covered her mouth to succumb to her faint chuckle.

Doyoung snickered, "Why? That just makes me wanna find more about it."

*COUGH*

"Moving on!"

"Tch, okay."

The older grabbed the pillow on his chair and threw it at his sister which successfully landed on the girl's face.

Minjeong grunted and glared at her brother, "How barbaric... just wait till I come home."

Doyoung laughed, "Do your best."

The shorter rolled her eyes before continuing, "Anyway, earlier that dream popped up into my head and made me nervous...? I think I was nervous, maybe scared..." she ruffled her hair in confusion. "But let's say that I was scared, yeah."

Caught up with whatever his sister was talking about, Doyoung nodded his head in understanding. "Ahh, was it one of those?"

"Unfortunately, yes." Minjeong huffed, "We were eating earlier when that thought arrived, so I was going to ask her to come with me somewhere... I wanted to tell her something."

"Whom is her?"

"Rina."

"Rina... Yu Rina?!" Doyoung raised a brow, "Wasn't that girl your girlfriend in high school?"

"Sad, we didn't date."

Doyoung smirked, "Sure." he cleared his throat. "Though, what seems to be the problem?"

"She needs to be at the hospital with her boyfriend, I guess."

"Yikes, she has a boyfriend?" Doyoung rolled his chair in front of his sister, "Are you waiting for them to break up or something?" he gazed at the latter attentively.

"Going off topic!"

Doyoung snickered, "Aight, my bad."

"Well, maybe I am..." she mumbled.

"What?"

"Continuing...!" Minjeong sighed as she nervously scratched her cheek, "Since I felt quite down, I think I just wanted to spend little time with her... comfort."

"Hello??? I'm here!"

Doyoung patted his chest and opened his arms wide. Seemingly welcoming his sister for a hug, only for him to get rolled away when his chair was pushed away from Minjeong's kick.

"I'm sad, Mindeongie," he said with a pout when the rolling of his chair was stopped by a wall.

"And I feel absolutely nothing."

"Pfft, now you're just being harsh on yourself."

"Nonetheless." Minjeong chuckled, "It had to be her."

"Why exactly?"

"Because I need to tell her something," the shorter quoted the word need with her fingers.

Doyoung rolled his chair back behind his desk, "The two of you must've really not known anything much about each other, huh? Must be hard."

Minjeong could only shrug and lay on the couch once again, "You don't need to know much to understand each other, I think that applied for the both of us."

Doyoung wiped his fake tears, "I've never seen you this lovesick since your high school days."

"I'm not lovesick!"

"You don't know that, you have alexithymia."

Minjeong glared, "Beyond the edge of the universe and its every living microorganisms, I hate you." she turned her and closed her eyes. "I'm going to take a nap, mornight!"

"Wait, don't nap just yet."

Halted by her brother, Minjeong sat up from the couch and fixed her gaze on the older, watching him take out a particular something from the shelf of his desk.

The girl squinted her eyes at the object as her brother threw it onto the space next to her, "What's this?" she questioned while examining the object, noticing how it had a lock beside it.

"A journal, I noticed how you weren't writing anymore... So I thought of buying you one, the key is taped on front."

Minjeong smiled at the gift, "Thanks, I don't really need one anymore but since it came from you— I'll use it well." she placed the journal on the coffee table in front of her.

Promptly, the two siblings continued with their business as pure silence gradually plagued the room. Doyoung with his papers, and Minjeong with her afternoon nap.

———————————————

Fast forward.

Minjeong's nap ended up a deep sleep and woke up at 8 p.m, the girl couldn't help but growl at the situation whilst giving herself a light smack on the head for not setting an alarm.

Her brother who was surprisingly still stuck onto his chair working bursts out in laughter and found the occurrence hilarious.

Annoyed by this fact and with the thought of her stacked homework back home, Minjeong quickly grabbed her things and a few snacks from her brother's snack corner and left the room after giving the older a soft slap on the cheek as a farewell.

Fixing her bag's strap around her shoulder, the girl took a breather in behind the building's back exit and opened the gummy snack she took. Taking in a few pieces into her mouth, she raised a brow when realizing how foreign and bitter it tasted.

The moment she checked the packaging, she saw how the gummies had a high alcohol content in them... as what was said on the packaging. Though Minjeong shook it off with the thought of it being not that effective and continued to eat them until the very last bit.

Which apparently led to her literal downfall.

Seated on the stairs near their building's exit, Minjeong had her back laid against the wall drowsily.

Fortunately, the girl was still sane and could still grasp whatever was in front of her. She groaned in pain while thinking how frustrating it was for her to be so goddamn weak to alcohol, even if just for a tiny amount.

Thinking of what to do before the intoxication fully engulfed her, as if the gods were being generous, the president of their company happened to pass by and saw the poor girl in a miserable situation.

"Mindeongie?!" Haseul exclaimed as she swiftly approached the latter with a worried look, "Are you alright?" she kneeled to the girl's level.

Dozily raised her head to look at the older, Minjeong displayed her usual poker face and spoke. "Unnie... I... drunk... stupid gummies."

She said before throwing the empty packaging onto the ground with all her might though flew with the sudden wind that blew. While Minjeong got angry at the wind and started calling it stupid, Haseul laughed and patted the younger's shoulder in comfort.

"Should I get your brother?"

"No!!!" A frown formed Minjeong's lips as she crossed her arms cutely, "He'll tease the shit out of me."

Witnessing the strange actions, Haseul's laugh only got louder, and nodded her head in understanding as she was aware of the gummies the girl just ate— it was a dangerous snack indeed.

"Then I'll go ahead and call your most recent contact." Haseul sat down next to the girl, "Is that okay?"

Minjeong dropped her head on the older's shoulder and nodded her head, promptly closing her eyes to fight off the dizziness whilst pulling out her phone to hand the latter.

"Alright, sleep until help arrives okie?"

"...I'm sorry, don't you have work to do?" the younger mumbled with her eyes still closed.

Haseul patted the girl's head before dialing her most recent contact, "It's fine, I've been taking care of you since you were a kid anyway."

Before Minjeong could even reply, she already found herself asleep. Just in time when the dialed person picked up and spoke in a cheerful voice.

"Jeongie? This is odd, you never really call me..." Jimin had a faint smile displayed behind the phone, her feet swaying back and forth while seated on her bed.

Haseul couldn't help but glance and smirk at the sleeping girl beside her, "Sorry for the bother but this is her unnie."

Jimin was quick to pause her movements and chuckled nervously, "Ah... yes hello."

"I'm not related to her." The older laughed, "But anyway, I called through Minjeong's phone since she's going to need some help."

Jimin's smile instantly faltered as soon as she heard the word help and stood up from her bed, "What's wrong?" she managed to ask casually without panic.

"She's drunk."

When Jimin was about to grab her jacket and keys, she stopped for a millisecond before continuing, then releasing a peal of laughter.

"I'm not even going to ask anymore, I'll be there in a few moments."

"Much appreciated."

Ending the call, Haseul gently tucked the younger's phone back into her pocket and chortled.

Shortly, just eight minutes, Jimin arrived at the location Haseul texted and saw the two figures seated near the exit. Seeing her best friend's sleeping face in the distance automatically curled up her lips and giggle.

Finally approaching the two figures, Jimin greeted the older and talked briefly before passing the sleeping girl on to her, then hurrying back inside the building for her meeting.

With a smile, Jimin squatted down her best friend's level and shook her shoulder gently.

"Jeongie, let's go home."

Hearing the familiar voice, Minjeong opened her eyes and looked at the latter expressionless.

"Oh... hey... you," she dazedly said, intoxication had finally taken over.

Jimin's smile remained as she stood up and offered her hand, "Did you drink?"

Minjeong took her best friend's hand and tipsily stood up, nonchalantly wrapping her arms around the latter's neck for a hug which caught Jimin off guard and flinch.

"No, those stupid gummy bears and wind attacked me," she whined.

Unable to suppress herself from the sudden cuteness, Jimin solely took the opportunity and returned the hug by wrapping her arms around the shorter's waist.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhm, now that my princess is here."

Jimin laughed, "I'm your what?" she asked, only to get an expressionless gaze from her best friend who pulled away from the embrace. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Minjeong narrowed her eyes, "Woah, Ms. Goddess is in front of me."

Definitely loving the situation, the taller playfully rolled her eyes and grabbed her best friend's hand as they both began to walk towards the parking lot.

"Hey, Ms. Goddess."

Jimin snickered, "Yes, Choi Winter?"

Minjeong smiled, "I wish I understood my feelings for you." she said before breaking away from her best friend's hand, noticing the car the latter owned.

Checking if she heard it right, Jimin stood in place and began to contemplate what she heard whilst watching her best friend tipsily snatch the car keys from her other hand.

Those words echoed inside her mind, giving her a little bit of hope of what she thought of. Although, that feeling was swiftly overthrown once she remembered a certain event back at the hospital.

Jimin sighed as she sensed disappointment from herself. Eventually, stepping inside her car's driver seat only to be welcomed a glare from her best friend who sat beside her that produced laughter.

"Now what?" she started the engine.

Minjeong squinted her eyes, "Don't go kissing me when I fall asleep okay?!"

Jimin abruptly choked on air, coughing as she covered her mouth with her hand. Embarrassed at the thought her best friend might've noticed such an indecent thing she did without consent.

"Haha..ha... Of course!"

"Oh, good!" Minjeong smiled whilst adjusting the seat's backrest to lay, "Cause I want to be the only one who did it." she said while eyes were slowly closing by themselves.

"Did what?"

Jimin tilted her head in complexity, in a flash her head to look at her best friend. Minjeong then tiredly turned to her side, now her back facing the latter.

"I stole a few kisses from you in high school..." she mumbled, though was loud enough for the girl to hear and turn into a blushing mess.

"For real?" Jimin asked in disbelief, succumbing to her tremoring heart from reacting.

The taller waited for a response, merely getting a cute snore from her best friend who appeared to have fallen asleep.

Cheeks red as a beet, Jimin took a deep breath before crossing her arms then resting them on the steering wheel. Burying her face into her arms, feeling the sudden heat that sweltered inside the car.

"You're so going to need a lot of explaining to do..." she laid her head to the side to gaze at the sleeping girl.
