Her long dark hair
And her sparkling eyes
You can never tell
If she's telling you lies
I carried her so long
But now she's grown
It won't be long now
Before she's leaving home
She's my free bird
Her wings can't be clipped
She my one of a kind bird
She don't live by a script
I almost lost her
While in my womb
But she's a rebel
And it was to soon
We all thanked God
And gave him his glory
For letting us keep
