Mark drinks the rest of the milk out of his cereal and lets out a sigh of relief. Last night must've done him good, he felt perfectly fine today. He washes the bowl and spoon and makes his way into the living room where Kaname was sleeping. He gulps, she must've heard everything bless her poor ears.
He decided to let her sleep, carefully cleaning up the living room which was oddly messy. He sighs and goes back upstairs into Yuta's room and sees him sitting up, his eyes dimmed like he wasn't there. His head slowly lifts up and his eyes light up upon seeing Mark.
"Oh, there you are!" He smiles, getting out of bed and hugging the boy, softly swaying from side to side, breathing his scent in. "Are you feeling better? you look a lot more lively," He smiles and Mark nods. "Yeah I feel a ton better," Mark says and Yuta chuckles. "That's great, is Kaname okay?" He asks. "Yeah, she slept downstairs, I think we owe her an apology" He laughs. "I'm sure she'd like to forgive and forget," Yuta says, kissing Mark's nose. "Well I'm apologising," He says and Yuta nods. "Alright," He says.

Knock knock knock
The door opens and Jungwoo laughs. "Oh thank god you're back" He beams, hugging the boy tightly. "Are you feeling better?" He asks and Mark nods. "Yeah, I am, don't worry" He smiles and Jungwoo sighs, come inside, someone's actually here to see you as well," He says and Mark raises a brow as Jungwoo leads him to the living room. The two sit and Mark looks up to see Lucas looking, guilty.
"Lucas? why are you here?" Mark asks. "I wanted to apologise," He says. "What for?" He asks. "The thing in the basement, I lied, I don't hate you at all, yes I hate what you did but I can see that... you're ch-changing, y'know? I just got a little intimidated around Yuta so I just blurted out some bullshit and now I see what he does," Lucas says and Mark laughs. "Yeah, he's a bastard, I'm confused about him but I gotta say as much as he's nice to me, it doesn't outweigh all the cruel shit he's put us through," Mark says and Lucas nods. "Don't worry bro, it'll all be over soon, I promise" He says and Lucas nods. "It's alright, I mean even if it isn't the end, just... look after yourself alright, don't let him control you anymore, yeah?" Lucas says and Mark nods, smiling. "Alright, you too," He says and Lucas nods to Jungwoo before leaving.
"Ugh, I've got a headache" Mark sighs, holding his head. "Oh no, I'll get you some paracetamol and a drink," He says quickly rushing off. "Come back" Mark calls and Jungwoo walks back, tilting his head to one side. "What's up?" He asks. "I'm just tired, no need for anything" He smiles. "Sleep then" He smiles and Mark shakes his head. "I can't yet"
"Why's that?"
"Yuta... I'm a little worried, he's a lot clingier now and I'm worried he might do something"
"Ah... good point"
"I'll message him, see what he's up to," Mark says and Jungwoo nods. "I'll make us a warm drink," Jungwoo says but Mark didn't hear him.

Mark looks up as Jungwoo enters the room.
"You all right? you've gone pale" Jungwoo asks softly, placing the two cups on the table. "I'm fine... I've got somewhere to be in like fifteen minutes," Mark says and Jungwoo sits down. "Huh?" Jungwoo looks at him confused. "He said I can't say anything," Mark says quietly and Jungwoo frowns. "I understand," He says sliding him a pen and sheet of paper.
Mark quickly scribbles down some words.
Yuta wants me to kill Lucas or he's leaking some recordings
of us. If you tell the others then it won't matter because
they'll know not to listen to them.
He also said if I told you, you're next.
"Yeah, okay, be safe" Jungwoo says and Mark nods. "Have some of your drink, it's cold out there," Jungwoo says, sliding Mark's cup closer to him. "I'm a little scared though," Mark says and Jungwoo tilts his head to the side. "Why?"
"What if I actually end up doing it?" He asks and Jungwoo sighs. "As long as you've tried every way of avoiding it, then it's not your fault," He says softly.
"Look yeah, I know this is probably one of the biggest crimes ever, it's a little weird how the police aren't bothered, this is about a murderer, surely they should have detectives on it just in case but nothing's happened," Jungwoo says. "So that's why I'm... I guess... being quite lenient... because the fear of us being jailed isn't there. Plus what you do is completely out of my jurisdiction, I can't do anything to stop you or make you do anything cuz... I'm scared" He says and Mark's eyes widen.
"Hyung... I'm sorry," He says, walking to Jungwoo and wrapping an arm around him. "I'm so sorry, I really don't mean to make you scared of me, I'm... I've done some stupid shit because I've been scared of Yuta. I'm sorry that I've scared you, I just... panicked I guess and now my head is on my shoulders and I know what's going on, I think I'm able to control things a bit better" He says and Jungwoo nods.
"Whether you kill me or not, I just want to know that you'll still stick up for yourself, I don't like the fact you keep running back to Yuta, it's frustrating to see because you're supposed to try and avoid him but I know you snook out to try and fix things but it just seems you wanna run back to him" Jungwoo vents and Mark gulps. "You're right, sorry, I've just been trying to get this over and done with but he always finds a way to keep me coming. I just end up getting so pissed off that I wanna end everything but then he halts it and then... suddenly... he expects us to be okay again and then I'm back at square one yet again" Mark says.
"Just stop it, leave him, leave him to do what he does, if he ends up killing everyone then so be it!" Jungwoo raises his voice a little. "At least we know we aren't like him, out there committing murder or whatever he does!" Jungwoo says and Mark gulps. "I don't want us all to die because of him, I want us all to survive, I want to save you all but it's not... it's not started too good, I wish I could go back because there are millions of things I would've done differently, maybe then Johnny would believe me and none of this would have ever happened," He says, clenching his fists.
"Doubt it... I've observed that man for a while, he's extremely clever, you seriously don't know what you're messing with," Jungwoo says. "I'm sorry, I should've told you I had a few doubts about him to begin with. I watched him bring a few girls over, someone's birthday I think and he left with a few bags, covered in blood. I should've believed what I was seeing, I thought I was having a nightmare. I think he saw me peeking but he never came around or brought it up, perhaps that's how he found out about you" Jungwoo says. "But as one does, I ended up forgetting about that time, that's why I never mentioned it until now," He says and Mark nods.
"Well, now you know, did you ever see anything else?" Mark asks. "I saw many people enter and leave his house, more entered than left. I heard the occasional scream but I thought they were just... doing the deed..." Jungwoo tells Mark. "It was usually girls I saw, possibly because they were easier targets, boys were quite rare, usually I saw all the boys who'd entered had left after a few hours or the next day or so and they didn't look troubled or anything so I didn't mention anything, I thought he was a player y'know? like a casanova or something but no, turns out he's a raging serial killer" Jungwoo laughs. "Before you, we had spoken a few times, he wanted to get to know me because we were neighbours but I spent more time with you and Johnny and those lot that I never got around to contacting him again but I never felt like I was his target," He says.
"That makes me wonder, why you're his target? he usually goes for girls but he's gone for a, may I say, strapping young lad, now that is something out of the ordinary" Jungwoo laughs. "Anyway off you go, don't wanna be late" Jungwoo says ushering him away. Mark quickly swigs down his warm drink before hugging Jungwoo and leaving the house.
