"try his birth-date", suggested Jassi, peeking from above.
"it's still incorrect", said Virat, frustrated.
They had been trying these weird combinations for a while and nothing seemed to be working right now.
"Bhuvi never had a password before", said Rohit, looking around.
"you think, he wants himself to get in trouble with people like Hardik around", said Rahul, breezily.
Jassi was the first one to yell a no. Everyone laughed at the memory.
Poor Jassi didn't have a password before and once Hardik got a hold of it. He then messaged Jassi's mother with a photoshopped picture of Jassi and some foreigner, married.
His mother was bewildered with the information found and had franatically called him, yelling at him for marrying without her knowing and talking about disowning him.
Jassi was scared to death hearing his mother and Hardik was rolling in laughter in one corner. He then had a hard time telling his mother that it was a prank by some team member and that he hadn't married anyone and didn't have any intention of either.
And though Hardik had throughly enjoyed the prank, he had sulked for the next two weeks when he was banned from partying.
As on the cue, Bhuvi's phone rang loudly and slipped out of Virat's hands.
Rohit caught it quickly and glared at Virat.
They looked at the caller id 'Nupur'.
Everyone's eyebrows furrowed.
"maybe she's the girl", whispered Kul, as if she could hear it.
"pick it up, Rohit bhaiya", said Yuzi, pocking Rohit.
Rohit looked at Virat who nodded in yes.
"Bhuvi", answered a soft voice.
Everyone looked at each other, not knowing what to answer.
"did you guys really not--", exclaimed Bhuvi, glaring at all of them, entering the room with Hardik in a blanket behind him, looking sheepish.
........
Hardik had opened his mouth in front of Bhuvi.
They were sitting in Hardik's room with Bhuvi drying Harry's hair and Harry continuously sneezing and whining about the same.
Bhuvi had just then remembered about this phone.
"maybe you forgot it by the pool side", said Hardik casually.
"yeah, but it's okay. I'll ask the manager later about it", answered Bhuvi, as he continued ruffling his hair.
"aren't you worried about it. I mean, you know some important numbers, chats, and stuff", asked Harry, perplexed.
"I have a screen look Harry", said Bhuvi.
"what?", yelled Hardik, now standing up on the bed.
"Hardik get down", said Bhuvi, sternly.
"oh man don't tell me I fell in cold water for nothing", said Harry, but quickly put his hand on his mouth after realising what he had said.
"you what", Bhuvi narrowed his eyes at Hardik, knowing something was definitely up.
Hardik nodded his head hastily in no but Bhuvi glared at him.
"tell me. What is it?", demanded Bhuvi, keeping his one hand on his waist.
Hardik sighed as he narrated everything about the team's suspicion about his girlfriend and their plan and the mishap.
Bhuvi stood alarmed.
"where is everyone?"
"Rohit's room"
Bhuvi ran towards Rohit's room.
As he entered the room, he saw everyone gathered around his phone, extremely quite.
He was about to yell at them for their stupid plan and how it could have hurt Jassi and Hardik.
But the call of another sweet Bhuvi stopped him.
He ran towards the phone for his dear life and when was about to retreat back, Virat and Rohit held him and pulled him back. So now he was lying between Virat and Rohit with everyone else howering around them.
Virat gestured him to answer and having no other option, sighing Bhuvi answered.
"hello"
"yes I'm alright"
"oh no just my ill-mannered team mates"
Everyone around gasped and Bhuvi did receive a few light slaps on his arm.
Virat leaned even more to hear what was been said the other side while Jinks pulled him back, glaring at him.
"you did"
Bhuvi smiled.
"I know, I had to search the entire market for it. I'm glad you liked it"
The conversation went for a while and the team did notice the glow and constant smile on Bhuvi's face. He looked at peace.
He looked happy.
When Bhuvi kept it phone aside, he still have a wide grin on his face.
The team crossed their arms and raised their eyebrows at him.
Clearing his throat and taking a deep breath, he started the story.
"Nupur and I are neighbors in Meerut. She is a good friend. We sort of lost contact in between but this time when I went home, we reconnected"
"that's it", asked Ash.
"yeah, that's it"
Hardik and Jaddu's face fell.
"there is nothing like you know between you two", said Yuzi, hopefully.
"nothing that I know of", Bhuvi laughed.
Virat and Rohit looked at Bhuvi intently.
Everyone retired to their rooms, dejected about not finding any juicy secrets.
Bhuvi was about to leave when Virat and Rohit caught him again.
"you sure Bhuvi", asked Virat, intensely.
"What do you mean?"
"he means, you like her don't you", said Rohit, smiling teasingly.
"I--okay, yes I like her" confessed Bhuvi, finally. His cheeks turning the lightest shade of red.
"I knew it. Have you told her yet?" , shrieked Rohit, excitingly.
"shush calm down Rohit and no I haven't but I'm planning to when I get back home", said Bhuvi, smiling.
Bhuvi then looked over Virat who still hasn't said a thing.
"I want to talk to her", said Virat, finally.
"but Virat-"
"Now"
..........
Bhuvi was anxiously biting on his nails while Rohit sat trying to calm him down.
Just then Virat entered the room with a straight face, scaring Bhuvi.
"what happened, Virat?", asked Rohit, cautiously.
"she's cool. I like her. She even agreed to my advise of you needing some dress-over", said Virat grinning as he tossed the phone to Bhuvi.
Bhuvi finally breathed in relief.
"thank God wait what is wrong with my style", said Bhuvi, frowning.
"it's too plain", said Virat, looking at him up and down.
"don't you think, this calls for an ice-cream", suggested Rohit with gleaming eyes.
"you always have to think about food, right?", said Virat rolling his eyes.
"I don't always think about food", retorted Rohit.
"yeah, when do you not?", asked Virat, sarcastically.
"like when I'm, yes when I am sleeping", answered Rohit, proudly.
"I bet even then you dream about eating", said Virat, smugly.
Rohit looked offended.
"let him Virat even I want to eat some ice-cream", said Bhuvi swiftly, stopping a banter between the two.
Virat then nodded and made his way to the front door while Rohit muttered something about two sider and Bhuvi had to drag the two to the ice-cream parlor.
