~Flashback:The battle of Wakanda 2018~
Ivy and Agatha stood outside of Wakanda, Agatha told Ivy Thanos is supposed to be there, but there was nothing there.
"Mom, there's no one here, are you sure we're in the right place?"
"Yes Ivy, this is our last chance to get the stones before him"
out of nowhere, Ivy and Agatha heard a really loud thud close to them.
"They opened the berier, he's here... come on" Agatha said as she and Ivy ran towards the woods.
Ivy fell down, her scar was still fresh, so when she hit her head on the ground she started to bleed.
"It's fine, it's nothing, you're okay" Agatha said as she lifted her off the ground so she could stand up.
"Mom, please I can't anymore it hurts so bad" the twelve year old cried out as blood kept pouring from the top of her forehead.
"I know darling, but you'll be okay, we can't let him win" Agatha quickly grubbed a cloth and pressed it hard on her daughter's forehead to stop the bleeding. Ivy winced in pain but kept pressing it on her forehead knowing her mother won't stop for a second.
"He's such a coward , he's not even here, sending his puppet soldiers to do the dirty work"
Agatha and Ivy walked deeper into the forest until they were met with what they were looking for.
"Mom, what is she doing?" Ivy asked
Agatha looked at whats happening in front of her in shock, "We need her, she's powerful"
But Ivy's mind was somewhere else, she watched as the woman cried heavily, she felt bad for her even though she had no idea who she was.
Than a sudden explosion knocked them all to the ground, Ivy looked up to watch as the woman sat on the ground as Thanos approached her.
"I understand, my child. Better than anyone" he said to her
"You could never"
"Today, I lost more than you can know. But now is no time to mourn. Now... is no time at all"
Ivy watched in confusion as Thanos brought him back to life
"No!" she heard the woman yell but Thanos knocked her the other way.
Ivy had tears in her eyes as he killed him and threw him on the ground like some doll.
"I'll be right back" Agatha said
"Mom, no! he will hurt you!" Ivy begged
"I'd like to see him try"
But without warning Thanos snapped his fingers and everyone started to disappear.
"Mom..." Agatha looked behind her to see her daughter slowly fading away.
"Mom, what's happening?" Agatha looked at her sadly
"It's okay baby, i'll get you back to me I promise"
~End of flashback~
"Ivy what are you talking about?" Sophia asked
"I waited patiently for the right moment, I guess there's no place like home"
"You live here?" "I grew up here, even though I wasn't born a witch..."
"Ivy what is going on, what are you talking about?"
"I was almost burned by my own grandmother for not being a witch, but I learned and I trained just to not be killed, I never wished for these powers, they make people sick, make them go insane"
Sophia and Wanda looked at each other confused, "Ivy sweetie please come home with us"
Ivy chuckled dryly, "Sweetie"
"You don't know me Wanda, how do you know I'm so sweet?"
"Ivy, can you please come here?" Sophia begged
"No, no I can't not until I'll finish this job"
"I always knew you'd come back to me" Agatha said
"Oh, no I'm not here for you mother, I'm here to finish the job"
"What are you talking about?" , "Ever since I was a child I was dragged down by the other witches, even by you, you didn't even came looking for me after the blip, all you cared about were the stupid stones"
"What? no, of course I did!"
"Bulshit, I don't believe a single word that comes out of your mouth"
Sophia noticed her spell book in Ivy's hand, "Ivy what are you doing with this?" "What I should have done long ago, destroy this place, and everyone in it"
...
Natasha and Yelena were sleeping in the gustroom until Yelena could feel Natasha shifting beside her.
"Tash? Are you okay?" she asked
Natasha jolted up and breathed heavily, she grabbed her head with her hands and took deep breaths.
"Tash, what's wrong?" Yelena asked
Natasha flinched slightly not realizing Yelena was awake. "I'm fine Lena, go back to sleep" Natasha said as she rubbed her forehead
"Did you have a nightmare?" Natasha sighed, "Yeah, but i'm fine I promise"
"Tash come here" Yelena whispered and opened her arms for her sister
"I said I'm fine Yelena" , "Natalia Alianovna Romanova, иди сюда прямо сейчас" (Come here right now) Yelena said with her thick accent
Natasha smiled slightly at the use of her full name and snuggled into her sister's embrace.
"Ты в порядке" (You're okay) Yelena squeezed her tightly, she could feel warm tears on her neck, "Я прямо здесь" (I'm right here)
"Pain only makes us stronger" "Я знаю" (I know)
Yelena kissed her forehead gently, "Want to go back to sleep?" "I don't know"
"I can stay awake, we can watch a movie or-" "No Lena, you're tired go back to sleep i'll be fine"
Yelena glared at her, "Don't make me use your full name again"
"Don't act like the big sister" Natasha teased
"Молчи" (Shut up), Natasha laughed, "At least you're smiling again"
"Thank you Lena, I really missed you, you know"
"I missed you too Tash" they shared a soft smile until Yelena spoke up
"So, how about we watch a movie and i'll go make you some tea"
"Lena you don't have to, it's 3am and-" "I thought we've talked about this already"
"Fine"
"Good, i'll be right back, yell if you need me" Yelena walked out the door but came back after a second, "Okay maybe don't yell because everyone is asleep, just whistle, quietly though"
Natasha giggled, "I'll be fine Lena" , Yelena smiled
"I'll be back in a minute"
...
"Ivy please, come home with us" Sophia begged again
Ivy shook her head, "No, I can't"
"Ivy this isn't you, you won't hurt us, you won't hurt your mother"
"Why, because you know me so well?"
"Ivy please, you're not a killer"
"I am, i'm a monster, you can't stop me Sophia, no matter how much you want to"
"Ivy you can still back away from this"
"No! I can't!" Ivy yelled
"You have no idea what it's like to live in a place where everyone hates you, you don't know what it's like staying awake for weeks learning magic so your own grandmother won't find out an kill you"
Sophia had tears in her eyes as she started to get close to Ivy
"Back away, don't make me hurt you"
"You could never hurt me"
Ivy looked at her with teary eyes, "I love you Ivy, I love you and i'm sorry for shutting you out, I should've known you weren't lying to me, just please come home, we can work this out"
"I'm truly sorry Sophia, I hope someday you'll be able to forgive me"
Ivy turned towards her mother with angry eyes, "Ivy, if you do this, you'll lose your powers"
"Powers, it's all you care about, power, I never wanted them in the first place, you turned me into a monster, you made me kill people, this place ruined me, this will be the end of it"
Ivy created a ball with her magic and started to aim it towards Agatha
"You're going to regret this" "Oh, believe me, I won't"
"Ivy stop!" "No!, i'm going to burn this place to the ground"
"Ivy please you'll hurt yourself" "I don't care!"
Sophia had tears in her eyes from her words, "Ivy please" Sophia cried out
"Sophia, baby we have to go!" Wanda said
"No, I'm not leaving her here!"
"Baby, I just got you back i'm not losing you again"
"I'm sorry mom, but i'm staying" "Then i'm staying with you"
Sophia nodded with a small smile, she ran and grabbed Ivy by her wrist, "Let me go!" "I'm not letting you do this, I need you Ivy, I need you in my life please" as tears streamed down Ivy's face. Ivy's spell came to an end and she fell unconscious on the ground. "Ivy!" Sophia catched her
Sophia and Wanda looked around as the forest burned in purple flames
"We have to get out of here"
