(Y/N) POV -
I was crossing the forest with Aether, Paimon and Squishy after our little fight with the dragon. My wounds healed pretty fast but they still hurt so I couldn't fly us to Mond.
I was wondering who the boy talking with the dragon was when I heard someone shout.
"Hey you! Stop right there"
And suddenly everything turned dark.
Or that I got hit by something fast and it covered my face would be more accurate.

Aether POV -
We had almost reached Mond when we had our encounter with the dragon. My anemo powers started going crazy and the dragon attacked Asmoday. He said that the wounds had already healed but he was still in pain so we had to walk rest of the journey. I was feeling guilty for accidentally hurting him again when we heard someone shout.
"Hallo du! Halt genau dort" was all I heard when a girl wearing red clothes jumped from a small hill and fell....on....
"ASMODAY!"
I could hear his muffled attempts at screaming coming from below her.
"AAHHH, es tut mir so leid!" she said while getting off him. Oh no. We were going to have the language problem again.
"I'm sorry, we don't know Mondstadian(?)" (IDK What they call their language)
I said hoping she would understand standard Teyvat. Paimon said that most people had only little knowledge of the language as it was mostly used my diplomats and travelers. Fortunately she understood us.
"I understand. May the anemo god protect you, stranger! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius" she said while doing a cute little salute. Wait! Concentrate Aether!
"You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourself!"
"Well... that was pretty dumb. I just said that we don't understand their language. Are there people in Mond who don't understand their own language? or she just forgot about it?"
"We're not looking for trouble" Paimon responded. Very good Paimon, definitely not suspicious.
"That's what all trouble makers say" she replied. I decided to introduce myself before Paimon could get us in trouble.
"Hello, I'm Aether, the white haired guy is Asmoday and the little slime is Squishy" I said.
"...Dosen't sound like a local name to me. Also I'm so sorry for falling on you Asmoday!"
"And this... mascot, what's the deal with it?" she asked looking at her. I could see Asmoday silently laughing in the background so I quickly replied
"Emergency food"
"Hey! That's worse than being a mascot!" Paimon shouted while Asmoday was dying of laughter which she noticed.
"Hey! What are you laughing about? If Paimon is emergency food then you're a snack!"
"Pff. Paimon I don't think that's supposed to be an insult" I said, joining Asmoday on the ground, laughing like crazy.
"*cough* So to summarize *cough* you're travelling companions?" Amber asked trying not to laugh.
"Yeah, Aether got separated from his sister and Asmoday lost most of his memories so we're trying to get both of them back" Paimon responded already forgetting about the little joke we made.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear about that. I know the pain of getting separated from your family so as a knight of Favonius I'll help you as much as I can. As for Asmoday, I don't know much about memory loss but we have some pretty good healers. They could help you, but we need to get back to Mond first. There have been dragon sightings in the area."
I thank her and Asmoday gave a small nod.
"Why were you out here in the first place?" Paimon asked.
"I-um, was on a mission! We have noticed a Hilichurl camp near the city so I was tasked to destroy it. I can't allow you to get to the city without supervision so you must follow me." Amber made a point and we decided to follow her. We were able to destroy the camp pretty easily but I noticed Asmoday thinking about something.
"You ok buddy?" I asked concerned about his wounds.
He gave a small nod and we went to Mondstadt.

Amber POV -
I was asked by the acting-grandmaster Jean to destroy a Hilichurl camp which had been spotted very close to the city. I was on my way there when I noticed some suspicious people walking in the Whispering woods so I decided to stop them.
"Hey you! Stop right there" I shouted as a tried jumping from the small hill I was on but slipped.
Surprisingly the fall didn't hurt at all and I noticed the blond shouting someone's name. I looked below me and saw that I was sitting on someone's face.
"AHHHH!"
"AAHHH, I'm so sorry!" I said as I quickly got away from him.
"I'm sorry, we don't know Mondstadian" the blond said.
I assured them that I knew standard Teyvat and introduced myself.
"I understand. May the anemo god protect you, stranger! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourself!"
Well... that was pretty dumb. He just said that he didn't know the local language I told them that they don't look like citizens of Mond. What's wrong with you Amber! I could feel the blond judging me about what I just said.
"Uwhaaa. So much for first impression. First I fell on his friend and then I asked him a stupid question. What if he doesn't like me after this? Wait! What am I talking about? I just met this guy and I'm wondering if he likes me or not! Concentrate Amber!"
"We're not looking for trouble" the floating thing responded. That's so suspicious.
"That's what all trouble makers say" I replied. The decided to introduce himself before the floating thing could get them in trouble.

The fight went pretty good. I didn't know that Aether had an Anemo vision and him suddenly summoning a tornado was pretty scary.
"So strong" I mumbled, forgetting about charging it with my pyro to make it stronger.
Asmoday noticed that and quickly used electro to power it up.
"Wait, he had a vision too?"
Suddenly the electro containing tornado went near a large group of Hilichurls and exploded.
"Overload? But I didn't use pyro. That means there is someone else here!"
I stated looking around and spotted something glowing near Asmoday's leg. A golden skull with...
"TWO VISIONS!!!"
How strong are there two? One is able to summon small tornadoes and the other has two visions! I seriously hope they aren't going to attack Mond when I get them there or Jean is going to kill me D:
I saw Aether say something to Asmoday and he responded with a nod.
"Hey Amber, let's go!" He shouted.
"Yeah, let's go :)"

(Y/N) POV -
Something just crashed into me and I can't see now. I tried to move but noticed that something was on my face.
"Was that someone's ass?"
The person quickly got up and started apologizing.
I noticed Aether looking at us weirdly. Oh, is he jealous? Don't worry comrade. Bros before hoes. I won't steal her ;)
They started having a small conversation and I heard that the girl's name was Amber. Hmm. She was wearing red clothes and her name was Amber. Is everyone in this world weird? Am I going to meet someone named Jean who always wears jeans?
I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts by Aether staring at Amber and vice versa. Oh god the raw virgin energy coming out of the two of them was enough to right a 40 chapter slow burn fanfic on the spot. I heard Amber call Paimon a mascot. I love her already. Marry her Aether!!!
Aether responded by calling her emergency food. It was too much and I started wheezing. That's what you get for calling me an overgrown chicken!
Paimon noticed me and decided that it was a good idea to call me a snack. That sounded to wrong out of context. Everyone else got the joke too as all of us started laughing.
A few minutes later Paimon explained our situation to Amber and she decided to help us. I don't know anyone in this world but a voice was screaming 'Amber best girl!!!' in my head and I had to agree.
Turns out Amber was out here to clear out a monster camp and we decided to follow her. The hilichurls as Amber called them turned out to be sentient. Seems like my mask translates every language. Nice (:
I thought about asking Aether to not kill them but noticed that they were repeating random phrases. Pretty sure they had gone crazy so we decided to kill them.
During the battle Aether summoned a tornado.
"HOLY SHIT HE SUMMONED A FUCKING TORNADO!!!!"
Amber was pretty stunned and forgot to charge the tornado using her pyro so I did the honors.
My powers are pretty weak but they can easily kill if anemo is boosting them.
My thoughts wandered back to the boy we saw in the forest. Aether asked me if I was alright and I nodded as we started going towards Mond.

*Time skip* (KING CRIMSON!!!)
Aether POV -
We reached the bridge connecting Mond and we noticed a weird, red statue thingy.
I touched it and it's colour suddenly changed to blue. I could see a map in my head with hundreds of these statues located all over it with only this one being blue. Seems like this world has teleporter waypoints too. Nice.
I explained Asmoday what happened and he touched it too. We were afraid that it would start breaking like the statue of the seven but it's blue colour gained some gold streaks. Looks like he can use them too. Amber seemed surprised by the sudden change of the waypoint and we explained it to her. She touched it but nothing happened. Perhaps it reacted to us because we're not from this world. We crossed the bridge but it scared away a kid's pigeons and he got angry at me. I tried to calm him down by saying that they will return to which he responded by saying what if they never return, like his dad..... Oh no, this is the second person I met and he has a sad backstory. This world is going to be pretty messed up. I looked back to see all the birds sitting on Asmoday.
"Ahh yes, the my close friend. The bird god Asmoday" I said while trying not to laugh. Amber and Paimon were laughing and the kid was looking at Asmoday as if he had found his teacher.
Asmoday on the other hand didn't like my joke too much. He just raised his hand towards us and......
"AHHHH THE BIRDS ARE ATTACKING ME!!! AMBER, PAIMON HELP!!!!!" I shouted to which they responded by simply walking away. TRAITOR!!!
We entered Mond and Amber started showing us around. She said that she had a gift for me and Asmoday and told us that we should get to the high ground. This made Asmoday laugh a little. Wait... He got the reference too?
The gift Amber gave us was a wing glider. It was pretty useless for Asmoday and would've been for me too if I still had my wings. He noticed that I was sad and probably figured out what I was thinking so he tried to distract me by jumping down and acting like Anakin.
I decided to get into the act too and responded by pulling out my sword.
"It's over Anakin! I have the high ground!!!"
Asmoday responded by summoning a line of electro around him. Was that supposed to be a light saber?
I jumped down and opened my wind glider, slowly descending while Amber looked nervous in the background. As I reached down, I stored my sword away and Asmoday did the same as we started laughing, looking at Amber and Paimon's reaction.
Before I could explain what we were doing the sky suddenly turned dark and winds started picking up. People started panicking as the dragon we saw in the forest started attack the city with tornadoes. One of them picked me up and Asmoday got caught up too when he tried to hold me.
I opened my glider and he opened his wings and I noticed that I wasn't falling.
"I'm preventing your fall using power of the thousand winds" a disembodied voice spoke.
It didn't have to tell us much as the dragon started attacking Asmoday as soon as it saw him.
With the winds helping me fly I managed to attack the dragon with a blast of strong winds which Asmoday powered up using his electro and pyro. The dragon screamed in pain as it blasted a tornado at Asmoday and flew away. I looked towards him and noticed that the winds had damaged his wings as he fell on me and we slowly decended.

Amber POV -
We reached the bridge connecting Mond and I noticed Aether touch the red statue which has always been the as far as I know and suddenly it turned blue. Well, that was new. Next Asmoday touched it and gold streaks appeared on it. Aether told me what it was supposed to do and I was suriprised. These things were located all over the country and in other nations too. If they work as he says it would be a great help for people. I tried touching it and nothing happened. Looks like it works only for them. We were crossing the bridge when Aether accidentally scared Timmie's birds. Pretty regular. What wan't regular was where the birds went. They were sitting on Asmoday and Aether decided to mock him by calling him "The bird god Asmoday".
Me and Paimon started laughing and Asmoday looked offended. He raised his hand and all the birds started attacking Aether. Maybe he was the bird god. Me and Paimon decided to slowly get into the city as Aether slowly joined us. I showed them around and decided it was time to give them their gift so I told them to go to the high ground. Both the boys started laughing at it and I was pretty confused. We reached the high ground and I presented them the gliders. Aether took his but Asmoday jumped down and looked at Aether. Aether got his message and pulled out his sword. Were the still fighting about the birds?
"It's over Anakin! I have the high ground!!!" Aether shouted. Anakin? Wasn't his name supposed to be Asmoday? Was Aether under some kind of curse?
Asmoday responded by summoning a line of electro around him. Oh, no. Were both of them going to fight? I was pretty sure they would cause a lot of damage if they fought here.
Before I could do anything, Aether jumped down and opened his wind glider, slowly descending while Paimon and I looked nervous in the background. As he reached down, he stored his sword away and Asmoday did the same as they started laughing, looking at me and Paimon.
Aether tried to explain but suddenly the sky turned darker and winds started picking up. Suddenly Stormterror started attacking and Aether was picked up by a tornado. Asmoday was also picked up as he tried saving Aether. NO! He didn't have his glider!
Me and Paimon waited anxiously as we helped in evacuating the citizens. Suddenly the winds stopped and we could see Aether attacking Stormterror with a blast of wind which had been effected by electro. I watched in horror as Stormterror fired a tornado at Asmoday. I couldn't see him clearly but he had something similar to a wind glider. Where did he get it from? I couldn't think about it much as Stormterror flew away and the whether returned to normal. I saw Aether bringing a wounded Asmoday with him as his wind glider looked damaged.
I quickly ran up to them and hugged them. Quickly checking Aether for any injuries I looked at Asmoday and noticed a lot of his skin torn at places. He didn't have a wind glider though..... those were WINGS!!! He had real wings!
I saw that he was missing an arm but rest of his wounds had started healing already. I tried to bandage his arm but Aether stopped him.
"Amber, what are you trying to do?" he asked.
"What do you mean what am I doing? I'm going to bandage his arm to prevent blood loss" I said paniking
"Amber what are you talking about? His arm has been like that for well over 2 months. How did you not notice it when we first met!?" Aether shouted while hugging his friend.
I felt so stupid.
"HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THAT!!!"
I was pulled out of my thoughts by slow clapping coming from behind me.

Kaeya POV -
Today was pretty normal for me. I skipped my morning task like usual, crashed into Angle's share and irritated Diluc. Rosaria was there too, already on her 4th glass. My girlfriend sure is scary. I was wondering why Amber hadn't reported to me yet. She had been sent to clear out a hilichurl camp by the acting grandmaster. Usually she wouldn't go alone but the knights are busy because of the Stormterror and I was afraid that something might have happened to her. Rosaria asked me what was wrong and I told her about Amber, to which Diluc responded by mocking the knights in his usual grumpy manner. I didn't get to respond as Huffman barged in. He told me that he had seen Amber enter the town with 3 strangers. I decided to tale a look at them as Amber's last stranger friend caused quite the trouble for the knights.
I found Amber at the higher parts of the city. She was probably giving the strangers new windgliders. I was about to reveal myself when I noticed that two of them seemed to be fighting. Suddenly they stopped and winds started picking up. Was it their doing?
Stormterror started attacking the city. I didn't know if they summoned it here or that it was just a coincidence but I didn't get much time to think about it. I started in evacuating the citizens as the winds suddenly stopped. I looked up and saw the blond attacking Stormterror with a blast of wind. The white haired one was providing support by providing electro. Suddenly Stormterror screamed in pain and shot a tornado at the white haired one and flew away. As the storm stopped I saw that he managed to survive. Were they a new ally, or a new storm.......
