Izuku gazed at himself in the mirror, secretly admiring his own appearance. He couldn't deny that he looked good. Without wanting to come across as a narcissist, he kept his thoughts to himself. Although he wasn't the "hot" type like Todoroki, he fell more into the "cute" category, a compliment he heard from Kai almost every day. After nearly ten minutes of self-reflection, he finally put on his uniform.

Two weeks ago, Izuku received the acceptance letter from U.A. with the highest scores – 56 villain points and 60 rescue points. He had hoped that by destroying the robot in the majority of the zero-point areas, Uraraka would end up in a different part of the city. However, fate seemed determined to put her in that same dire situation, stuck in a collapsed building.

Regardless, Kai was not ready to let Izuku go. He had been clingy since the letter arrived, and even Eri found him annoying. Kai was reluctant to allow Izuku to be in the same room as those who had betrayed him, but Izuku reassured him, promising that he would be fine. Reluctantly, Kai let him go.

As soon as Izuku entered the class, he witnessed a familiar scene. Katsuki had his leg propped up on a table, while Iida scolded him. Katsuki, true to his typical self, threw insults right back at him. Just as Uraraka entered the room, her eyes locked onto a familiar head of green hair.

"Hey, it's you!" Uraraka greeted enthusiastically.

"Hello," Izuku bowed slightly and smiled.

"I've been meaning to thank you for saving me," Uraraka scratched her head nervously.

"It's nothing. I was just doing what any hero would do," Izuku replied with a smile.

Iida noticed them and briskly made his way over.

"Good morning! I recognize you two. My name is Tenya Iida, and I'm from Somei Private School," Iida introduced himself, extending his hand.

"Midoriya Izuku. Nice to meet you," Izuku shook Iida's hand.

"I'm Uraraka Ochaco," Uraraka said, shaking both of their hands.

"Midoriya, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you?" Iida asked seriously. "I had no idea. I hate to admit it, but you're better than me," he said solemnly.

"In my first life , I actually didn't realise anything" Izuku thought "I didn't know actually. I just did what felt right" He said sheepishly

"I'm excited to be friend with all of you?" Uraraka said excitedly "I wonder what our teacher's like"

"Our teacher is lying behind you" Izuku thought, a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"If you're here to make friends, you can leave," a familiar voice interjected. Izuku blankly stared at Aizawa, who was wrapped up in his yellow sleeping bag. The rest of the students were a little weirded out by the scene. "This is the hero course," Aizawa bluntly stated.

Aizawa climbed to his feet and took a sip from his juice box, which concealed his liquor. "Okay, it took eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough," he grumbled.

The students quickly found their seats as Aizawa walked towards the front of the class.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota," he announced with a tired expression. "It's kind of sudden, but put these on and head out to the field."

The students exchanged curious glances and wondered what awaited them outside as Aizawa handed left their gym uniform on the table

Class 1A followed Aizawa's orders, albeit with some confusion. However, Katsuki and Izuku appeared to be the only ones relatively relaxed. When they entered the locker room, Izuku quickly undressed and stretched for a bit before putting on his clothes. His back felt a bit sore, and he wondered if he could go all out during their test.

As he drifted away from reality, the rest of the students couldn't help but stare at his physique. Izuku's body was quite well-defined, with a mix of muscle and slimness. His chest and six-pack were particularly noticeable. The other boys couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy, except for Iida, Todoroki, and Katsuki.

Iida admired Izuku's physique, thinking that he must have trained exceptionally hard to walk the path of a hero. Todoroki, on the other hand, didn't pay much attention and kept to himself. Katsuki, however, was seething with frustration. While he was stuck at school, Izuku had the luxury of time to train, which felt immensely unfair to him given his own busy schedule.

Katsuki couldn't help but compare his own body to Izuku's. He knew his physique wasn't bad; compared to the average boys his age, he was well-built. However, he couldn't deny that Izuku had achieved an impressive level of physical fitness that he couldn't help but feel envious of.

"Woah, you have a manly body," Izuku remarked as he looked at Kirishima, who appeared awed.

"What kind of training do you do?" Kaminari asked.

"I do martial arts," Izuku replied.

"If you have time, can we spar?" Ojiro suddenly asked. "I do martial arts as well."

"Sure, but where?" Izuku asked

"You can come to my place. My family owns a dojo," Ojiro said enthusiastically. "My name is Ojiro Mashirao" he added while extending his hand.

"I'm Midoriya Izuku," Izuku introduced himself as he shook Ojiro's hand.

"I'm Kirishima Eijiro" Kirishima smiled.

"Kaminari Denki at your service," Kaminari grinned.

The group had introduced themselves, except for Katsuki and Todoroki. Todoroki had left early, leaving them behind.

"What's your name, spikey boy?" Kaminari called out to Katsuki.

"Do you wanna die, Pikachu?" Katsuki replied in a threatening tone, glaring at Kaminari.

"Die?! That's not very heroic behavior," Iida berate.

"Don't worry about him, he's always like that," Izuku reassured.

"Do you know him?" Iida inquired.

"We were childhood friends, right, Kacchan?" Izuku smiled innocently.

Bakugo shivered at the way Izuku called his name. It was different, like death itself was calling him. He couldn't explain it, but the smile sent shivers down his spine.

"Were?" Sero asked.

"Oh, we're separated now. It's been a year since I last saw him," Izuku explained. "My family had to move due to our circumstances."

"Oh, well, now you're back together. Isn't that great?" Iida said.

A heavy silence followed.

Neither Katsuki nor Izuku commented. The other boys could sense the tension in the air and realized that the relationship between the two might not be on the best terms. Izuku simply smiled while Katsuki scowled, and they awkwardly walked out of the locker room.

Aizawa was waiting with the rest of the girls and Todoroki. The girls wondered what had happened because the tension between the boys seemed off.

"Took you long enough," Aizawa remarked.

"Excuse me, Mr. Aizawa," Mina raised her hand. "What are we doing here?"

"Right now, you guys are going to take a quirk assessment test!" Aizawa announced.

"A quirk assessment test?" the class asked, except for Katsuki, Todoroki, and Izuku.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" Uraraka questioned, clearly disappointed.

"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events," Aizawa replied.

Izuku respected Aizawa as one of the heroes who took their job seriously and had no time for fame. He despised the press and flashy heroes.

"U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes," Aizawa stated, glancing at his nervous students.

"You kids have been doing these tests since junior high, right?" Aizawa continued, taking out his phone. "Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your quirks."

"The country still uses averages taken from students not using their quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating," he added.

Aizawa carefully examined the expressions of his students, particularly Bakugo Katsuki, who had passed the exam with villain points, Todoroki Shoto, who had entered U.A. by recommendation, and Midoriya Izuku, who had piqued his interest by not relying on his quirk despite achieving the highest score.

"Midoriya, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right?" Aizawa asked.

This comment seemed to irritate Katsuki.

"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?" Aizawa continued, garnering the attention of the rest of the class.

"It was 47 meters," Izuku replied shyly.

Aizawa appeared somewhat surprised. He had expected that number to be much higher.

"Then, try doing it with your quirk," Aizawa challenged, tossing a ball to Izuku. Izuku caught it and walked toward the designated circle. "You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle."

Izuku stared at the ball, lost in thought. He pondered how such a small thing could hold the power to determine their fates, where they stood, and their future. He understood that these seemingly insignificant moments could change one's life forever, depending on the decisions made.

That's why Izuku was determined to exact his revenge. This was the path he had chosen, and he was willing to be selfish if it meant protecting his family. He had come to realize the difference between a hero and a villain. A hero might sacrifice their loved ones for the greater good of the world, while a villain would sacrifice the world for their loved ones. Right now, all that mattered to him was his family.

With this newfound clarity, Izuku stood his ground, combining all his strength, and launched the ball into the sky, doing so with an emotionless determination.
