On Monday...
It's back to school this morning. You were hoping it would be cold so you could wear a coat and scarf. But it was still summer. You walk out your house to see Denki leaning on your mailbox. He smiles and offers you his arm.
Denki: "M'lady..."
Without smiling, you walk over and take his arm. You both walk to school together.
Denki: "What's wrong, sweetheart? Where's your smile gone?"
Y/N: "Nothing... I'm just... a little nervous."
You touch your neck. He sighs.
Denki: "You're still shy about it, aren't you?"
You frown and nod. You walk in silence for another minute until he stops in front of an empty bus stop. He turns to you, smiling.
Y/N: "Hmm?"
Without warning, he puts his hands under your arms and lifts you up, so you're standing on the seat.
Y/N: "Woah! Denki, what are you-?"
He turns his back to you and puts his arms around behind your knees.
Denki: "All abord!"
You realise what he's doing, and you quickly wrap your arms around his neck before he brings your legs to his sides. He then keeps walking with you on his back.
Denki: "Welcome aboard, princess. I'll be your coach for this journey."
You laugh.
Y/N: "No, Denki, put me down! This isn't funny!"
Denki: "Then why are you laughing?"
Y/N: "Because this is stupid!"
Denki: "But I made you laugh and that's more important to me."
You rest your head on his shoulder, so your cheeks are touching.
Y/N: "I hate you."
Denki: "Break up with me, then."
Y/N: "... no..."
Denki: "That's what I thought."
He smiled, turned his head, and kissed your cheek.
Denki: "I love you."
Y/N: "I love you too, my huge dork."
You ruffle his hair.
Denki: "Hey!"
You laugh. He carries you all the way to school.
