With the First Successful Engagement in three months, spirits are high and everyone is happy, of course it's been a few days since then and Y/N has gone with Robin on multiple smaller scale missions like taking out Siren Drone patrols and expanding the Territory of Azur Lane. But today is a day where they can rest, and besides, they did get payed today.....

Y/N POV
Robin: "Why am i here? We finally have our day off and i'm gonna spend it with my favorite person... You!!" She dramatically points at me as i stand in the doorway with my shirt off
'I just woke up....'
I gesture for her to come in so she does. Looking around the main area as i go upstairs to get a shirt
Robin: "Acutally, now that i think about it, i've never seen your house before.. Damn, this place is nice. Can i move i-"
Y/N: "No" I cut her off from the second floor
Robin: "Aw man, you're no fun" After i get my stuff, i come back down with my wallet as well, seeing her smile as she stands up "Ready?" I nod and we walk out, me locking the door as we make our way through the path to get to the main part of the base "It's really calm out here.. Kinda like what we wanted when we were gonna retire" I smile, seeing her happy as i yawn a bit, looking around at the Shipgirls looking at us, they seem to be fangirling for some reason as they stare at us... Weird
Anyway, we make our way to a small cafe, it seems to be filled with a lot of people, guess it must be popular, but nonetheless. We sit down, looking through the menu and deciding what we want as a shipgirl comes out to take our order but she stops, and i hear her chewing gum?
I look up and see that she looks awfully similar to Cleveland albiet with a bit more s-size... Wait, i think i remember her telling me about her sisters when we went on a mission.. This one is.... Oh! Columbia
Columbia: "Woah, you're the two Mercs Big Sis told me about. Huh you looked as badass as i imagined" She says as she smirks, holding a notepad "So what can i get for ya. King of The Blue Seas?" Columbia says as she looks at me, a more respectful smirk for some reason
Robin: "King of what?"
Columbia: "What do you mean? You haven't heard the rumors going around? All about you two, they call ya's The King of The Blue Seas and his Valkyrie"
Robin: "Well damn that's one badass nickname, though we've gotten used to the old. Demon King" Columbia looks confused as she says that, pressing further on the matter
Columbia: "Why would anyone call you a Demon King?"
Robin: "Simple. If you're up against Monarch. You won't make it out, so people've dubbed him The Demon King, cause it's like you're up against hell itself when you face him. And also it helps that we're Mercs, you pay a price, and we wipe out your enemies" She snaps her fingers as i look away, not really enjoying the praise as i try and ignore it. They continue to talk as i think about the first engagement we did, that Bismarck person, Enterprise seemed to have a grudge towards her
The way she fought against that Bismarck, she was fully ready to give up her life. Reminds me of myself when i lost Penny... Damn that was a long time ago
I look back to the two and see them both looking at me, quizzical looks on their faces, they stare for a while, making me a bit uncomfortable so i tilt my head, wondering what they want
Robin: "Well it's just that you've been staring out at nothing for ten minutes" Columbia looks surprised as she turns to Robin
Columbia: "You understood him? He didn't even say anything" Robin chuckles before she crosses her arms, a smug look on her face as i just sit there
Robin: "When you've lived with the guy for seven years, you understand how he works" I look at her with a deadpan expression "I know how to grind his gears. I know how to press the right buttons and all that shi- AH!" I knock her over the head as i click my tongue and sigh before taking out the menu
Y/N: "I'll just have the cheemburger" Odd name for a burger but it's cute
Columbia: "Woah! The King finally speaks, you got it. You want fries and a drink with that? On the house" She says with a wink, making me a bit flustered, but i hear Robin click her tongue
Y/N: "Yes on the fries, and what do you have for soft drinks?"
Columbia: "Well we got Prof. Chili, Snow, Oxy Cola Leaf Ale. And Sprite" Huh... Sprite is the only one that has the same name as back on earth, might as well go with that
Y/N: "I'll take the Sprite" Robin orders the same thing i did and Columbia walks off after blowing a kiss my way, flustering me even more, man i hate it when people do stuff like that, i'm never good at dealing with that stuff
After a bit, she come back with our meals, and to our luck, the Sprite actually looked like, well, Sprite, so we took a sip, staying silent for a while
Robin&Y/N: "It tastes like pepsi"
Timeskip 1 Hour

After we had finished our meal and that 'definitely sprite'. We had, well... More like Robin had decided that we should go to look at a movie at the massive fucking theater in the shopping district, of course i had no say in the matter, what? You want me to deny a taller, scary woman? And before you say otherwise, she's fucking scary, the last time i denied her 'request' to go to a bar, well......
Flashback
'Huh? Where am i?'
I try and open my mouth but it's taped shut, i open my eyes and see that i'm in a storage closet, Galaxy and Robin in front of me as my hands and legs are tied to a chair, i see Robin pay Gal fifty bucks as she walks out of the room, looking back at me with a smug grin before she leaves
Robin: "Next time, think twice about not wantin' to go out to the bar!" She says in her usual cheerful attitude as she shuts the door, i look over to Gal, pleading with grunts for him to let me go
Galaxy: "Sorry bud, but i got fifty bucks to to this. So i kinda have to, don't worry it'll be over in about fifteen minutes" He says as he looks at his watch before clearing his throat and looking at a stack of papers "Cock and ball torture...."
*MUFFLED TORTURED SCREAMING*
Flashback over
Oh god that was horrible, ever since then, i've made it a note for two things, CBT is weird as hell, and never deny Robin when she wants to take your somewhere
Robin: "Oh! which one do you think is a good one to look at?" She says as we look at a little list about the movies "Actually, i think i'll choose" She's always like this, somehow she always manages to take control of situations, i personally don't have a problem with it, actually. I like it, while i take control of the skies, she does the same on the ground, heh. I can tell that if she were to get a boyfriend. She'd definitely top him for sure "Hm... I think this one'll do" She points to a horror movie, damn, even the cover is scary "We'll take two tickets to Jim Carrey's: The Mask"
We walk in and get some popcorn and some soda, this time getting some Snow, despite the name, it looks and tastes like Coke, so that's, strange..
There weren't that many Shipgirls in the theater so Robin decided it was fine to talk and make jokes, they didn't seem to mind. In fact, every time she'd make a joke, at least five Shipgirls would silently giggle to themselves while trying to look at the movie, though i wasn't paying much attention to it
Around halfway into the movie, Robin had fallen asleep, leaning on my shoulder, i could hear her soft breathing, she smiled as she was sleeping, she looked beautiful if i had to say. To think i've lived with this face for the past seven years, damn. Am i lucky
I chuckle to myself as i refocus on the movie, it ending after a while and i will say, it was terrifying. Though of course i had to wake up Robin who stirs awake, rubbing her eyes and half opening them to look at me
Robin: "Babe! C'mere!" She lunges and hugs me, kissing my cheek, she's definitely tired. She keeps hugging me, which i don't mind too much but the kissing and the increasing number of Shipgirls looking at us is getting a bit embarrassing
Y/N: "Wrong person" She realizes what she's doing and jumps off, the few times she actually gets embarrassed are the times when she does stupid shit when she's tired. Either way i just let out a small chuckle, tapping her on the shoulder as i get up, her understanding and following me out into the hallway where i throw away the buckets and cups "Next time, choose a less scary movie" Robin looks confused as she raises an eyebrow
Robin: "That was a comedy movie" I look over to her, a wide eyed expression on my face
Y/N: "Huh?"
Timeskip Another Hour

After the theater, we decided to just walk around the town together, looking at each of the stores and looking at some decorations, it looks like it's nearing Valentines Day
Robin: "Oh right! We need some new clothes. Come on! We can see what silly ones they have!" She starts to drag me to the store, but i accidentally trip on someone on the way, well more like i hit them and they didn't budge because they have the strength of ten of me
Helena: "Oh! Monarch! I'm so sorry" She says as she helps me stand up, effortlessly picking me up, if i had been any other man. My pride would have shattered into a million pieces. But i've since thrown away that pride when Prez pinned me to a couch and force fed lemons to me. Ever since then, i hate lemons
Y/N: "It's fine, are you okay?" I say, knowing full well that she is okay, she's a Shipgirl for god's sake. But i just wanted to ask since she seems a little bit down
Helena: "Yeah it's just that. There's a party coming up at the University, and i'm the coordinator, it's just that i'm having a lot of trouble with setting things up" She looks to the ground, obviously sad so i place my hand on her shoulder and give her a thumbs up. Her looking confused, Robin coming in and explaining
Robin: "He's saying he'll help out" Helena looks ecstatic as she grabs my hand, looking up at me with a smile
Helena: "Oh thank you! It really means a lot. If you can, please come by later tomorrow, maybe at three" I simply nod and she goes running, having a lot more spunk in her step, the sight making me smile and blush a little when i slightly glance a bit further down
Robin: "You really think she's cute huh?" She says with a slight.. Sarcastic? tone to her voice as she begins to walk to the store. Either way, i follow her inside and look around, most clothes are for women, obviously. But there is a small section for men's clothes. They're pretty basic for the most part
But there is a design of a Red Corsair with a Reaper Emblem on it, big words above it saying Undying Ace, the paint scheme looks like, him... Dammit now it's reminded me of that bastard, so i walk away and look around again, seeing a news paper that i decide to look at
The thing on it makes me a little bit confused, it's about our enemies. The Crimson Axis, there's a black and white picture of a jet? It looks really blurry but that's what it looks like, it has a forward swept wing design, a massive thing on top of it, but i can't tell what it is exactly. The headline is..

I'm about to read the full story but i'm interrupted by Robin tapping me on the shoulder, holding a couple of shirts, skirts and shorts. They all seem to be for her, which makes me realize i bought nothing for me. Looking around, i just grab the undying ace shirt and some jeans, nodding to her as we head to the counter
Hornet: "Oh well hey there N/N!!" Surprisingly enough. I see Hornet manning the counter, wearing a pretty tight uniform, really puffing out her nice boo- No!! Stop that!!! Bad Monarch!!!
She waves at me as i do the same, placing our things down while Robin for some reason glares at me and her. Looking between the two of us before finally speaking up
Robin: "You two know each other?" She says with a skeptical tone in her voice, us both looking at her. Luckily Hornet spoke up before i had too, her usual smile on her face as she starts scanning and talking
Hornet: "Oh we just go to the gym together a lot, to he bar sometimes. Maybe a few cafe's here and there. We're like super best friends now" Aw, that's sweet. The only people who've ever called me their best friend were Pete, Eve and Robin... So just my squadmates, damn was i ever a lonely bastard
Robin: "Huh, you never told me about her" She says as she side glares me, her eyebrows slightly furrowing
'Why are you saying it like i'm cheating!!!'
Y/N: "I guess i forgot" I say as i look off to the side, Hornet speaking up again as she brings up the price on the cashier, me taking out my money to pay for it. Seeing as Robin payed for the movies
Hornet: "So you wanna go to the bar again on friday? Enty said she was busy on that day for whatever reason. I think she said she was going on a escort mission" Ah escort missions, we were never really good at those, Dip or Mick would always almost hit the person we were supposed to protect, but the missions always ended up completed so no biggie
I think about it for a bit, kind of zoning out for a while until i come to. Noticing that Hornet is waving her hand in front of my face, leaning over the counter to do so. Her shirt showing a pretty hefty amount of her..... um, assets
I stumble back a bit, a blush covering my face. This surprises the two women but i expertly play it off with ease
Y/N: "S-Sure" Great going dumbass
Hornet giggles at my stutter and places her hand on my shoulder, looking down at me, actually now that i realize it.........

Hornet's at least be five inches taller and Enterprise has got to be six!
Holy shit i've never felt so god damn short!! I knew Robin was taller than me but this is bullshit, what happens when they're angry at me! They can already lift me up like i'm a baby in the hands of a silverback gorilla, and that was just Helena, and she's shorter than me!
'I fear the the day when i make any one of them even the slightest bit angry'
Either way, she speaks up
Hornet: "Well isn't that all cute. Gettin' so flustered just to go with me to the bar, i'm flattered" She smirks as i look away, blushing a bit more. We don't say anything as her grip gets a little tighter and i feel a little pull towards her. Until i hear Robin clearing her throat
Robin: "Well if you don't mind, i do want to get my shit already. So flirt later, Monarch. Just grab your stuff and lets go" Her eyes become as piercing as AP rounds so i immediately nod and we head out, me waving to Hornet as she does the same, along with blowing a kiss my way, shit here comes the red. I have got to get a tolerance to this
Y/N: "Anywhere el-"
Robin: "No, see you tomorrow. Unless you'll be at that chick's preparation party" She has a spiteful tone in her voice for some reason as i continue to follow her. Now it feels a little bad, she never acted like this towards me. Okay, scratch the 'little bad' part. I feel like shit because of her tone
Y/N: "B-But, we can still hang out, m-maybe do something else today. Like the beach?" I desparately suggest but she just shrugs her shoulders
Robin: "Nah, ain't feelin' up for it. See ya, Monarch" Ahh! She only calls me Monarch on the ground when she's mad!!! This sucks!! What even made her mad?! She was so happy today, and even i was. But now it's all ruined!
She walks away and leaves me on the street as she walks back to her dorm
'This day was shitty, i thought i could relax with Robin.... Now she hates me'
[Well that's it for today's episode. Oh man, Y/N certainly made Robin mad huh? But i wonder why. Either way, i have nothing else to say but just, thanks for giving this book a shot so far.
