I woke up feeling sore and pain all over and I groaned and looked and saw the twins holding the baby with Wanda guiding them. "How are you feeling?" Wanda asked looking at me. "Like I just gave birth to a human being" I said smiling. "I remember the first time you ever said that" she said smiling at the memory and Aurora jumped on the bed.
"Mommy I have a sister" she said and Wanda sighed, "Honey it was supposed to be a surprise" and I laughed. "We have another girl" Wanda said, "Just like you wanted weird isn't it" I said and she looked away smiling. "Wands" I said and she giggled, "I promise I had nothing to do with our children's genders" she said and I shook my head. "May I hold our daughter please?" I asked and she nod bringing the baby for me to hold and she was adorable.
"She looks just like Aurora" I said and Aurora smiled, "She's pretty" she said holding the baby's hand. "She is" and We all sat talking about the baby. "So baby names" Wanda said and I laughed, "I've got the perfect name" I then whispered it to her. "I love that name" she said "I think it's a pretty name" Aurora said and I turned to her.
"Shhh don't tell" and she nod and Wanda went and called the team. "How am I never present when you're giving birth" Yelena said walking in followed by the team. "Would u like to see my vagina opening up with a human coming out if it?" I asked and she shrugged. "El it's not a pretty sight" I told her and Wanda laughed. "So who would like to hold her" I said and Natasha pushed away everyone and picked her up.
"You amaze me every time YN" she said in aww and I laughed and everyone had their turns and Yelena went last. "So what's her name" she asked playing with the baby's finger. "It's Aylena ,Lena for short" and Yelena looked at us. "Are you joking , Wait you're serious" she said gleaming. "Hmmh Remember when I gave birth to the twins and I told you I would name one after you" and Yelena faced lit up.
"Now you need to have more and named them after all of us" Sam joked and we laughed. "No more,I'm done" I said and Wanda kissed my forehead nodding. Natasha then took Aylena from Yelena although El didn't want to let go. "Guys I would appreciate it if you don't fight and drop my child, she's new here" I told them and Yelena gave her to Nat. Natasha started playing with the baby and Aurora started crying and I turned to her.
"Hey bubs what's wrong?" I asked and she laid her head on my chest and mumbled something. "Honey what's wrong I can't hear you" I said rubbing her back "Aunty Nat won't love me anymore, Lena her new favourite" she said and Nat looked at her and turned and gave Wanda the baby and then picked up Aurora. "What No honey I will always love you, You will always be my favourite" she said and I sighed. "Natasha don't tell her that, No favourites" I said and the Twins came and hugged me. "So we're not Aunty Nat's favourite" They said and I looked up at her and she bent down with all three of them. "You're my favourite and you and you and even the baby you're all my favourites" she said and they smiled hugging her.
With everything going on, Tony suggested the idea of a vacation, and everyone agreed, feeling like they deserved a break. The others went to the med bay to chat and play with the kids, while Wanda and I sat and fed the baby. Despite the busyness, I could feel the exhaustion building and couldn't wait to go home. I looked up at Wanda and whispered my feelings, to which she replied, "In two days, my love." I nodded, grateful for her understanding and support.
Two days later.
After arriving home, I walked into the house accompanied by my family, including El, who was carrying the baby. Once we entered, I immediately headed upstairs, seeking the comfort and relaxation of a warm bath. As I closed my eyes and soaked in the hot water, I felt all my tension and fatigue fall away, allowing me to escape from the stresses of the day. Once I was fully relaxed, I stepped out of the tub and made my way downstairs. "Wands the closet won't open" I complained from the stairs only wearing a towel.
"I'm coming up" she said and then I heard footsteps and she moved closer to me and kissed me. She opened the closet to reveal it was full of other baby stuff we didn't buy. "Everyone bought them" she said and I smiled and she pressed a button and the closet expanded revealing more baby stuff and our clothes. "Stark?" I asked and she nodded.
I thanked her for her help and got changed, "Close your eyes" I told her and she did and I held her hands and brought her to Aurora's room and she gasped. "When did you do this?" she asked and I smiled, "When we were at the compound Nat, Yelena and Bucky helped."
I turned Rora room into her and the baby's own and I had a section for baby stuff and the other stuff for Rora. "It's pretty" she said kissing me and we made our way back downstairs and saw everyone making breakfast. "Thank you guys so much for the closet and baby stuff" I said and they nodded. "And thank you Nat, Yelena and bucky" Wanda said and they replied no problem.
As we all settled in for breakfast, Aylena began to fuss, which prompted Yelena to pick the baby up and feed her a bottle that was sitting on the counter. Meanwhile, I helped Steve prepare breakfast, as we all discussed the size of our extended family. "Wow, I have so many nieces and nephews," Morgan exclaimed as she admired the cute babies. I agreed, reflecting on how our family has grown over the years. As we all sat around the room, with some on the floor, the twins climbed up onto the couch and crawled between me and wanda, while Aurora stayed cozy in Nat's lap. Yelena eventually passed Aylena over to Wanda, where they curled up and closed their eyes, drifting off to sleep. "I love you guys and thank you for saving me".
