"I'm so nervous.." Tim rubs his hands together, you giggle and hold his hands for support. "You'll be fine! My parents love everyone." he nods.
You guys walk to your parents door and you knock, "Y/N!" your mom hugs you tightly and you obviously respond with a big hug. Then you hug your dad, "Mom, dad. This is my boyfriend, Tim." you introduce each other.
He gives a small wave "Hi Mr and Mrs. L/N. It's a pleasure to meet you." he shakes both hands, while his hands are shaking. "Such a gentlemen!" your mom smiles, "Hm, sure is."
your dad walks in and so does your mom, "I don't think your dad likes me?" Tim nudges you, you pat his shoulder "He's cold at first, but trust me. He gets better once you get to know him, just don't fear him he isn't gonna hurt you. He just wants to protect his daughters."
you reassure him, he nods and you guys both walk in. "Tim, please call me Y/M/N (your moms name)" Tim nods with a smile. "Tim..why don't you and my dad get to know each other better, I'll help mom in the kitchen!" Tim's eyes wide, he mouths 'What are you doing?!' which you respond with 'Go sit down!'
"Of course!" Tim fakes a smile and sits quite far from your dad, your dad spares a glance to Tim and continues to watch hockey, "Your watching hockey? That's so cool, you know I'm a professional hockey player." Tim says observing your house.
"Wait what?!" Tim jumps, "S-sorry did I say something wrong?! My apologies!" Tim leaves no second to apologize, "No! You said your a professional hockey player?!" your dad says, Tim sighs in relieve "Yeah, I play for Ottawa!" Tim replies cheerfully. Your dad smiles "That's amazing! Ottawa such a good team!"
You peak out of the kitchen to see Tim and your dad talking like old friends catching up. You smile and bring out dinner, "Okay! Dinner is ready!" your mom says, Tim and your dad sit down for dinner "Oh my gosh, you guys made pasta? I love pasta!" Tim smiles, you scoop some for him and put it in the bowl and give it to him.
"How old are you?"
"When did you guys meet?"
"What do you think of Y/N"
"Where do you work?"
"Will you treat Y/N good?"
Tim's overwhelmed but tries his best to answer "I'm 19, we met through a friend. I think Y/N is a perfect angel, who deserves the best. She's such a beautiful soul, and I always miss her when I go to my games. I am a professional hockey player, I play for Ottawa Senators. I will treat Y/N 100 % good, please trust me."
You squeeze Tim's hand and smile at him letting him know he did a great job. He smiles back and looks at your parents who are quite amused. "Your perfect for our Y/N." your mother stares.
