It's been a week since I told Yeji about the Jinyoung incident and she has been nothing but caring and protective over me. She has been doing so much that, in my mind, I have already forgiven her.
Although, we haven't spoken about my feelings for her. And, frankly, I was okay with avoiding that topic. It was better if things were just left unsaid. She knows about my feelings and I'm no longer hiding it.
I guess I'm okay?
The other girls seem absolutely relieved that Yeji and I are finally acknowledging each other as well.
Jisu came into my room one night and just ugly sobbed saying how happy she was that things were returning back to normal. And the whole time I was just awkwardly patting her back, trying not to cringe when her snot would land on my shoulder as we hugged.
Jinyoung hasn't shown up and I have felt absolutely grateful. I don't think my heart could take seeing him again. And I refuse to tell my mother. I don't want her reliving the heartbreak she felt when he left us.

"I swear Dallie, you already ate your dinner so I don't understand why you're still begging for food at 2 in the freaking morning!" I angrily whisper to Leo while holding him in my arms.
It was currently around 2 am and my cat was suddenly crying a river just to get my attention.
I was walking down the hall when I suddenly heard a frustrated, strained voice being made in Yeji's room. I look down at Dallie and he was also staring at the door. He turned to me and softly meowed before hopping off my arm and going towards the kitchen.
Tsk. That brat.
I look back over to Yeji's door and cautiously and quietly took steps forwards until my ear was pressed against her door. My eyes widen slightly hearing her angrily speaking into her phone.
"Yeonjun you need to relax! I can't always contact you whenever I'm free!" Yeji hisses out in an angry whisper. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and tried to press my ear closer to the door.
"It's 2 in the morning and you bombarded me with multiple text messages! Can't you see you're being extremely clingy?! Wh— are you serious right now?!" She says, venom laced into her tone causing goosebumps to rise on my skin.
She could be pretty scary for a tiny girl.
"You did not just say that! You know what Yeonjun? You could just shove your ego up your—" feeling quite uncomfortable to be ease dropping, I swiftly pushed myself off the door and left, not wanting to hear the rest of Yeji's threat.
Number one rule Yeonjun, don't mess with a fuming kitten.
I'll pray for your soul.

The next day all of us, besides Yeji, were in the living room watching a movie. I was laying on my side on the floor while Ryeong and Jisu were seated next to each other on the couch, a little too close I might add.
I rolled my eyes and internally gagged hearing them giggling and whispering to each other like a couple on their honeymoon.
"Can you two lovers shut up! I'm trying to watch the movie." I tease. They both suddenly flinched and separated slightly while sending me a glare.
Whoops.
I sent them teasing winks and a flying kiss before turning my attention back to the tv.
Dense children.
Hearing a door slam shut however caused all of us to flinch in surprise and turn towards the sound of Yeji angrily, and cutely, stomping her way in the living room. I sit up an lean my back against the couch and stared at her puzzled.
She huffs tiredly and walks in front of me and nudges my legs open. She flops herself between my legs and leans her back against my chest while grabbing both of my arms and wrapping it around herself.
Ignoring the loud thumping sound against my chest, I chuckle amusingly and tighten my hold while staring at her side profile.
"What's wrong Yeji?" I ask. She huffs.
"Humans are trash." She adorably mumbles out with a tiny pout and her eyebrows furrowed together annoyingly. Jisu chuckles.
"What happened?" She asks. Yeji sighs and turns her face towards me and the girls and silently stares at us for a moment. She flickers her eyes towards me and sends me a knowing look before glancing back at the girls.
Is she—?
"I have a confession to make." She carefully states while removing herself from my embrace and sitting cross legged in front of me.
The girls lean forward with a confused look before motioning for her to continue. Yeji takes a deep, shaky breath.
"Yeonjun and are still together." She declares. Ryeong and I remain silent while Jisu stares at her with widened eyes.
"Wait, what are you saying?" She asks. Yeji averts her eyes down to her hands and began to fiddle with her fingers.
"We never broke up. I-I lied to you guys." She quietly says. Noticing our sudden silence, Jisu glances at Ryeong and I and stares at us in disbelief, seeing as we didn't look surprised.
"You two knew about this?" She asks angrily while standing up. We both gulps nervously and was about to protest until Yeji stood up as well and shook her head.
"Ryujin caught Yeonjun and I the night our break up was announced and she told Chaeryeong." She states. Before Jisu could respond, Yeji quickly continues.
"Please don't be mad at them. I asked them to keep it a secret, well, I technically told Ryujin to keep it a secret." She mutters out while giving me a pointed look. I sheepishly grin and quickly looked away from her burning gaze. Jisu lets out a breath and begins to massage her temple.
"I'm not mad, just confused. Why didn't you tell us in the first place. We're family Yeji, you didn't have to lie." She states while walking towards Yeji and placing her hands on her shoulders. Yeji looks down ashamed.
"I just couldn't risk the news to come out and have the band attacked by fans again. I couldn't handle the fact of being the reason ITZY would get bashed again. You girls don't deserve the hate." She states with her tears threatening to escape her feline eyes. Ryeong and I quickly stand up and walk towards her side and both draping our arms around her.
"We're a packaged deal Yeji. No matter the odds, we would never ever blame you." I state. Ryeong places a strand of loose hair behind Yeji's ears and smile softly.
"We love you and we would never get mad that you found someone to be happy with." She says lightly. I felt my body stiffen slightly but ignored it as I saw a tear roll down Yeji's cheek. We all wrapped each other in our arms into a group hug.
"I love you girls." She whispers. Jisu chuckles and pulls away.
"Aish.. enough with this sappy stuff!" She turns away and secretly wipes away her own tears causing the rest of to laugh lightly. She turns back around and sends Yeji a teasing smile.
"So.. you and Yeonjun huh?" She asks. I turn away and flopped myself on the couch while sending them a soft smile.
I've accepted the fact that Yeji will never be mine. And if she was happy then so am I—
Yeji rolls her eyes and groans frustratingly.
"He's annoying the hell out of me!" She exclaims while making her way towards the couch and flopping herself down next to me.
Okay? What?
"Okay? Why's that?" Ryeong asks with her eyebrows furrowed slightly. Jisu nods in agreement while sitting cross legged on the floor.
"Before I found his clinginess extremely adorable, but now? It's irritating! I feel like I'm suffocating!" She yells out as she frustratingly combs her fingers through her hair. I stare at her with my eyes widened slightly.
"I thought you guys were doing well?" I carefully ask. She locks her gaze with mine and I swallowed thickly with the ghostly look in her eyes. She was staring at me silently for a moment with a pink tinge growing in her cheeks before responding.
"Feelings change." She states. I feel my jaw drop slightly but quickly shut it and shook my head.
