I was looking up at the wooden ceiling for about 30 mins now. He was sleeping on my lap, we spent all night talking and I was hoping to see his mom but I’m assuming she came in when I fell asleep.
Who stays in the clinic that long? Daren did say thought that she likes to take long drives out of the city too clear her mind. I sighed and tried to lightly lift his head and put a pillow in replace of my lap.
He sighed and hugged the pillow. I smiled but right when I got up my knee hit the corner of the coffee table make me tumble over. My weight fell right on my knee as I tried to balance myself. I stumbled to the floor. “Shit” I muttered as I held my knee close to me. Pain shot out and ran down my leg. Good gracious lord it hurt! Omg. My eyes watered from the pain. I wiped them away quickly.
His eyes flew open and he yawned before he could fully focus on me. He hugged the pillow but still laid content in his sleeping position. “Are you ok?” he replied. I nodded my head, gritting my teeth. “yah, I’m good” I replied. He smiled and closed his eyes.
I got up and looked for keys. “Hey I have to go ok I have to get ready for school” I replied. “Are you, coming back here after school, I can take you if you want” he replied. I shook my head. “No, that’s ok I have some things to do after wards” I replied.
He nodded his head. “Ok, love you” he replied. I froze in place. Did he just say I love you? I turned around to see him standing straight up looking at me with intent. Oh man, I told myself I would never utter those words unless I ever meant them. I looked around the room once more before I focused my attention on him.
I kissed him on the cheek. “I’ll see you later ok, call me if you need any help with your mom” I replied. He nodded his head but his hands brought me back into his arms. He laid his lips intently on mines.
He smiled as he released me. “See you later, have a good day” he replied. I nodded my head. “Bye” I replied.

I waited a couple more minutes, or I was going to go to his house to get her. She couldn’t miss school. We had a bio test today. She already missed class the other day. I sat on the porch, my leg tapping up and down.
I didn’t even want to think about how they slept, how long they kissed. I knew it would drive me crazy. Right as I stood up to head to my car, her car rolled in front of my street and pulled up to my drive in.
My girl always came home to me. I thought
I smiled brightly, my heart rose as I walked in a fast pace to her car. She came out and yawned. Bringing my attention to the bags under her eyes. My frown appeared now. “You look like you didn’t have much sleep” my voice strained. She looked at me and half-smile.
Now I knew she was tired. Her smiles always reached her eyes and her dimples were the first that caught my attention. She leaned up slowly wrapping her arms around me. Hugging me then she lazily brought her lips to mine kissing me.
“I missed you so much babe” she murmured. Then a yawn followed soon after. I looked around to see if anyone was looking and leaned down to kiss her. “someone might see” I smiled. She groaned internally. “I don’t care anymore” she replied softly kissing me more intently.
It was so cute that my need for her quickly rose. I sighed, she looked like she hadn’t slept in days. I brought my hands down under her butt lifting her up to my waist. She wrapped her legs around me and yawned once more. Her head resting on my shoulder brought sweet memories of our other nights sleep.
I sighed and took her too my room laying her down on my bed. She curled up like a two year old as I wrapped her in my silk sheets. I leaned down to her and kissed my her softly on the lips. “Where are you going?” she replied trying to sit up, but I knew she didn’t want too. “I have to go to school babe one of us has to take the bio test” I replied with a smile. She groaned and slowly pulled the sheets off.
“wait, I’m coming” she replied. I shook my head and walked back to her side. “No, you sleep, I’ll just say your sick” I replied making her lay back down. She sighed and pulled me down with her.
“Stay with me than, we can both miss the test” she begged. I groaned now, my need for her killing me. How could I say no to that? “Pleaase don’t beg” I whispered as I laid my lips on hers. She wrapped her arms around me and brought her body up to mines from the bed. She wrapped one leg around mines.
“Pleeeaaaasssseeeee” she whispered in my ear. My eyes literally rolled to the back of my head and I couldn’t help it. I wanted to take her right then and there. “This restraint I have on you babe, isn’t going to stay up long. Your begging is really pushing me right now” I said huskily. She nibbled on my lower lip and then kissed me patiently making her hands clutch my hair fully bringing me down on her.
“I didn’t tell you to restrain yourself, I want you” she replied urgently. I sighed, how could I say no to that. I smiled and dropped my bag to the floor.
School can wait.
I smiled and brought my lips down by her neck leaving trails all over shoulders. “For someone who looks extremely tired, you really do have a lot in you for a workout” I replied with a laugh. She smiled now.
“Energize me than” she laughed. I laughed now, that drove me crazy and I brought myself down to her kissing her passionately. How could I ever doubt this girl. God I missed her.

…..A couple hours later : )
As if I couldn’t get any closer to him. I hugged my body closer to him snuggling deeper into his chest. His hands trailing up and down my back. I smiled softly. I could hear him humming that song Caravan of Love.
I could hear his phone vibrating off the shelf. I groaned. He laughed. “I’m assuming I shouldn’t get it” he said softly. I looked up at him and smiled nodding my head. He brought my lips to his and we kissed blissfully. I smiled.
My stomach growled. I laughed. “Your stomachs growling” I giggled. He looked at me questioning. “Chocolate chips , banana or both?” he replied. “What would you prefer?” he replied. I shook my head already getting. “No it’s my turn to cook for you” I replied with a smile.
He laughed and gave a sly look. “or your so hungry that you rather you cook so you can rush it” he laughed. I laughed and threw on his boxers and t-shirt that hung loosely around me. “You know me so well Tay baby” I laughed as I walked out to the kitchen.
I knew my way around Tays house like it was my own. I been here a lot. I smiled as I flipped the choclatechip pancakes in the pan. Flipping them onto a plateI turned around to set them on the dining and ran straight into his chest. I laughed. “a warning would help” I smiled as I kissed his chest. Hmmm he smelled good, right of the shower. I looked up to see his expression but he was to busy looking down. I followed his gaze.
“Oh, uhm it’s nothing” I replied, waiving my hand in dismissal. He frowned. “What happened? Does It hurt?” he replied rubbing his hands seductively down my legs(or atleast that’s how much his touch affected my body). He lifted up my other leg, trying to examine it. I cringed a little. Ouch. I thought. I held it in. “It’s minor” I replied.
He frowned and studied my face, he lifted me onto the counter my legs instantly wrapped around him as he came closer to me. “It doesn’t look minor, it’s swollen and that face your trying to hide from me may be hidden but the pain is still audible” he grimaced.
“I’m fine, I pinky promise” I replied. I brought his lips down to mines and kissed him.
His tension evaporated easily and I could feel it as he pulled me closer to him slowly groaning. I laughed.
He smiled and leaned down to kiss, I lifted my head up so I could taste his lips but when I opened my eyes he made a quick one and went for the pancakes instead. He looked at me and laughed as he took a bite out of my freshly made pancakes. Eating it right in front of me with out bodies still close to each other.
I laughed and groaned at him. “Are you teasing me?” I replied huskily as my hands played at the seams of his boxers. He laughed and his eyes rolled backwards. “Can you blame me?” he replied leaning in to kiss me. I smiled and shook my head our lips meeting once again. “Oh that reminds me, I was going to go visit my mothers grave upstate, I was wondering If you wanted to come with me” he replied.
I looked at him now. We hardly talked about his mom it was such a sad time for him. It’s not like he resented her or anything. Matter a fact she was his life. She was always nice to me when I was a kid. She did however give him the bracelet he always wore for good luck at games. I smiled.
“Uhm you usually go alone on this though” I replied. He nodded his head. “Yeah, I usually do, but theirs a surprise I had in store too so please say yes” he replied with a smile. I nodded my head. “Of course, anything” I replied. He kissed me passionately on the cheek.
My phone started to ring, I groaned again.
He laughed and kissed my forehead. “Don’t answer it” he replied. I groaned. “It might be Daren, and he might need me” he replied. He nodded his head slowly but backed off even slower as I reached to answer it.
“Hello?” I replied.
“Hey where are you?” Daren replied from the other line.
“Uhm how come? Is everything ok?” I asked looking at Tay.
“No, I’m here at your school I thought I’d surprise you and take you out to dinner but some kids told me that you didn’t come to school” he replied.
“Oh uhm” I muttered. My breath was caught for a moment. I didn’t want him finding out this way.
“Are you at home cause I just passed your house and I didn’t see your car” he replied.
“Uhm, no I, I’m at Tay’s house” I replied. My mind just froze and right when I said it I wished I’d said something else like I was at the store or something. I hit my head hard on my forhead and Tay laughed bringing my hand to his lips.
I laughed.
“Hello? Are you there? “ Daren replied.
“Yes, I’m still here” I replied.
“Oh, uhm where’s his house, I really want to take my “girlfriend” out” he replied
He sounded mad, I looked up at Tay who was studying me.
“Oh uhm, how about I meet you there, where did you want to meet up?” I replied.
“I’ll be at Tony Romas in Town” he replied.
“ok, I’ll meet you there” I replied.
“Ok, bye love you” he replied. There were those words again. I sighed softly,
“Ok, see you there” I replied pressing the end call button.
“What did he want?” Tay replied. “He wanted to meet up, to talk I guess” I replied. “Is everything ok?” he replied. I nodded my head. “I think so, he went to the school to pick me up but found out I wasn’t there so I told him I was here. Probably not a good idea” I murmured.
He looked at me and sighed and kissed me softly on the lips. “I don’t know how much longer I can share you” he replied. I looked at him in a sad look as well. “I don’t know how long I can cheat on you either, I feel horrible as it is” I replied.
He nodded his head. “Don’t even think of it like that” he replied. I nodded my head.
“I guess I should get going” I murmured. He sighed and kissed me once more.
“Text me afterwards” he replied. I grabbed my things as I headed out the door.
“I will” I replied.

It Didn’t take that long for me to get to Tony Roma’s I was there in 10 mins. Although I wish I had. I didn’t really feel like my excuse of being at Tay’s house was good enough. I sighed and walked through the doors looking for Daren.
I spotted in a booth ordering us water. I walked over to him and smiled waving him a hello. He stood up and kissed me on the lips, a quick peck not like the ones he always gave me.
“Hey” I replied. He nodded his head. “Hey yourself” he replied. I forced a smile and sat down feeling the awkward silence coming anytime soon. “I ordered you a salad” he replied with a courteous nod to the waiter. “Oh thanks” I replied.
I didn’t want to be rude but Salad’s weren’t my thing. I was never ashamed to eat a double cheeseburger. A guys thought of me never did satisfy the growl in my stomach. Never cared for it.
He looked at me. “So, how come you didn’t go to school?” he replied. I shrugged my shoulders. “I, ugh didn’t feel like going today” I replied. His initial reaction was a frown and then he hid it fast. “Oh well, if it was a case of boredom you should have just stayed and waited until I got up, I would have kept you busy” he replied wagging eyebrows and a fast smile.
I smiled. “Oh, I’m sorry. I’ll keep that in mind” I replied. He nodded his head. “So what did you guys do?” he replied. Ok, so he felt like playing 21 questions here. I internally sighed. “Nothing much really just watch a bunch of movies, cook, played games” I replied smiling. He nodded his head. I could see his internal struggle he was having.
“So you were doing that all day?” he trailed on, he reached across the table for my hands and entwined my fingers. I nodded my head. “Errr, yeah…. Uhm is something wrong?” I replied. He was quiet for a moment. I didn’t want to say anything either so I just let the silence fill our busy thoughts we obviously weren’t saying to each other.
“I just don’t get you two, that’s all. You guys are closer than I expected. I’m surprised you guys don’t have feelings for each other in another way” he replied. If his eyes weren’t looking at our toying hands he was playing with, I would have been caught. Because at that moment, my heart jumped to my throat and my eyes couldn’t have gotten any wider than they already were. By the time he looked at me, I was almost over the anxiety attack I was going to have.
“Oh uhm no, I don’t see him like that” I replied biting my lip a little. He nodded his head.
“But you guys are close right?” he replied. I looked at him now. What was he getting at.. “Yeah I would say so, he’s my best friend” I replied. He nodded his head now as if confirming something.
“Is their something you wanted to say Daren, that your trying to beat at?” I replied. He looked at me now, a deep sense of sadness over coming him now. “ I just wouldn’t mind seeing my girlfriend around more, he’s always bothering you and I feel like fucked up at the club and you never forgave me. I guess I’m just overreacting, thinking you guys were doing something that you shouldn’t” he replied.
“No we aren’t” I blurted out, I tried to breathe in and out of my anxiety. He did not need to find out this way. I tried to smile at him and just give him comfort. I didn’t want to add on to his stress that’s the last thing I wanted to do.
I looked at him. “I’m sorry Daren, I didn’t know you felt that way” I replied. He nodded his head. “No thank you, you’re a really straight forward person I never would have told you that if you didn‘t ask” he replied. I nodded my head. “Yeah” I replied slowly. No I’m not I thought.
“Oh and by the way, don’t mind Deran he’s just mad because he got into an accident at work” he replied. I nodded my head and frowned.
“Oh what accident?” I replied. He sighed.
“He hasn’t been taking my mothers condition well, so he hasn’t been focusing. My father told us to take a few days off just to clear our head off, but he’s being completely stubborn and wasn’t paying attention the other day and walked straight into the end of a two by four that I guy was carrying” he replied.
My hand came to my mouth, shocked. Then the realization that Taylen had said was completely wrong. “Is he alright?” I asked. He shook his head. “He’s fine, he’s just being really dumb and mad at the world” Daren replied. “Do you blame him, look what you guys are going through.. Just give him time” I replied. He nodded his head.
Taylen was wrong, he was judging Daren for something he wasn’t and I had to mentally that he was only doing because of how Daren treated him. I sighed and smiled at Deran.
“What are you doing tomorrow?” he replied. “Oh nothing” I replied.
He smiled. “Did you want to come over for dinner, my parents would love to meet you” he replied. I smiled. “I would love that” I replied.
He smiled and leaned in to kiss me. “They would love to meet you too” he replied in once simple statement. My heart shattered. He was getting so deep into this relationship that It was a given fact that he was already going to get hurt from it.
