"There's this saying in this town that every twenty-seven years, at lunar eclipse, once the clock strikes three, in the Kendrick Mausoleum, you can see him. If you look into his mesmerizing eyes, you're his prey." Lilith snickered.
"Who's he." I asked.
"You can't say his name out loud, it only makes evil like him stronger." Erick whispered.
"But we call him Kyle, because in my language 'gayal' means not to be seen by many, and that's what Kyle is." Lilith added.
I got a text from my mom, and she texted me to come home as soon as possible, I wondered what the emergency was? I hurriedly got up, and put my teal cross-body bag over my head, and was about to leave when Lilith stopped me.
"One more thing, lot of people mistaken him as a legend, my own aunt made the mistake of going there twenty-seven years ago. She went and never came back. You're smart, that's why I am telling you this. You take a step in there, and even me or God won't save you."
"Thanks for the warning, but I gotta go, I don't have time for myself, why the hell would I go to a mausoleum." I retorted.
"Good, at least I know you won't be like others and go to find out he's real." She waved goodbye, and I got out of the coffee shop.
Amelia would never go to the mausoluem to see if Kyle aka Aren Randolph is real, or would she? He is pure mark of evil, and she has one thing Aren comes for every twenty-seven years, a 'pure' soul.
