Dear Reader,
Before you read about my story, here's a little background information.
My name is Julie Das; 20 years old, almost done with my bachelors degree, 5 foot 3 inches, very long dark brown hair, brown eyes, glasses. Basically your average geek.
I've never had a boyfriend and I mean NEVER. Never even admitted to someone that I liked them, let alone go out on a date. There were many reasons as to why:
1. No one ever liked me like that or asked me out
2. I never confessed my feelings to anyone I liked
3. I wasn't the type of girl a guy would prefer to date (at least that's how I felt)
Every time I liked someone ever since I was 11, I was horribly rejected, made fun of, mocked at, and even humiliated since I was the naive type of girl to share her feelings with her so-called-friends and ended up like a fool.
Basically, it was complicated.
So at 20 years old, never kissed, never dated, it was frustrating. Especially since almost everyone I knew had a boyfriend or were getting married. Love seemed impossible.
