Something is going on. Harry has been texting all morning, being all secretive. Louis can't stop bugging him about it but Harry just says
"You'll see soon."
They got home last night and it was nice to be back in their house. Louis puts his clothes in the laundry basket and even gets a machine started since Harry is busy conspiring. They take the dogs out for a morning walk.
They eat a salad for lunch and then Harry gets up.
"It's time to go."
"Go where?" Louis immediately questions.
"You'll see." Harry smirks.
This is a special year of their lives as well and Louis wonders what the heck Harry has planned. Bruce and Clifford are let outside so they will be fine by themselves for a while and they lock the front door and head to the car.
When Harry drives them to Wembley in the northwest of London Louis has an idea of what's going on. Harry parks the car outside The Fountain studios.
"I knew it!" Louis shouts.
Harry just smirks at him and they head inside. Louis almost twists his neck while he tries to take it all in.
"It looks the same. Remember how nervous we were when we stepped out on that stage?"
"You were cool. I was a wreck." Harry grins.
"I was only cool on the outside." Louis smiles.
They walk toward the stage. All of a sudden music starts to play. Louis immediately recognizes it. It's Torn by Nathalie Imbruglia. He lets out a surprised screech when Liam walks out on stage and starts to sing.
I thought I saw a girl brought to life
She was warm, she came around, she was dignified
She showed me what it was to cry
Louis jumps up on stage to hug his old bandmate and friend. Liam hugs him back but continues to sing.

Harry has a microphone as well and takes over.

Louis swears that he can hear Niall's voice blend with theirs but he still gasps when Niall walks out on stage to sing the next verse. He walks over and hugs him.
So I guess the fortune teller's right

They all nod at him to sing so Louis takes the next part.

Louis expects Harry to sing by himself again but instead, Zayn walks out on stage singing the next part. He can't believe it. He stares at Zayn, frozen on the spot but then he rushes over to hug him. Zayn smiles relieved and hugs him back while he sings.

The music fades out and they go in for a group hug at the same time. All of them are laughing, happy to see each other.
"We still got it!" Niall grins.
"I'm so happy to see you all. What a surprise!" Louis says excitedly.
"Harry had this planned for months." Liam says.
Louis looks at his husband and then he crashes their lips together, kissing him passionately.
"Yep, things are still the same." Zayn comments dryly.
They head back to their house to catch up. Harry hands Louis a picture of the two of them from the X-factor. They have an incredible day and night together, talking memories and life in general. It will be a day that Louis will never forget. He can't believe they all showed up, even Zayn. He finds some time to talk to him alone and they let go of old grudges.
