Their car stops in front of a restaurant .He opens the door for her and extends his hand toward her .She holds his his hand coming out of the car.Whole journey is silent one .They keep looking at each other now and then waiting for other to speak .
After enquiring about their place ,they sit on their chair.Ananya looks around observing the surrounding .It is not a very big restaurant but a nice one . Their table is on the pool side where some more couples are there .On their left there is small dance floor on which some couples are busy in couple dance on a soft music
Dev"Anu mai...."
"your order sir"said a waiter standing near the table .Dev ordered all her favourite starter .
Ananya-"tum keh rahe the kuch?"
Dev-"ha ,mai koi aaise baat nhi bolne wala hu jo tumhe nhi pta.Mai...
"Sir"said waiter interrupting once again.
waiter-"Soory Sir wo veg manchurian available nhi hai.
Dev-"it's ok.Baki le kar aayo.
"ok sir"saying that waiter leaves from there.
Dev-"ha to mai ye....
"sir .."said waiter returning back "sorry sir wo mai apna phone bhul gaye tha"
He leaves from there while Dev looks at him making sure that he is gone . Again after two minutes of awkward silence Dev continues.
Dev-"Ananya mai keh ..
Waiter-"Sir.."
Dev closes his eyes in frustration while Ananya smiles inwardly.
"ab kya bhul gaye aap"he said still looking at Ananya .
waiter- aapka order sir"
Dev-"de to diya"
Ananya-"wo starter serve karne aaya hai"
Dev -"Ooo"
Waiter serves them and turns to leave.Dev again sit on the position to speak but again gets interrupted by waiter.
Dev-"an kya hai?
Waiter-"Disturbance ke liye sorry sir"
Dev-"jitna karna tha wo to kar diya ab to jaaiye"
Waiter leaves from there . Ananya looks at Dev who starts eating.
Ananya(in mind)-"ye date per le kar aaya hai ya maun vrat ke competition me part lene . bol kyu nhi raha hai ye idiot.
Dev finishes his food . while Ananya looks at him waiting for him to speak but he looks toward the couple who are on dance floor.
Ananya (in mind)-"lagta hai sirf dinner karne hi aaye the "
"tumhe pta hai Anu jab mai school me tha mere most of the friends ki koi na koi crush thi.Actually sab ki almost common crush thi Niyati."He said looking at the couples dancing on the floor while Ananya first looks at him hearing him with increased heartbeat but frowned hearing that name.
"Ek din lunch break ke time per usne mujhe pure school ke samne on the knee purpose kiya "He looks at her observing her reaction and it is clearly written on her face that she is not liking his talks .
"Usne mujhe purpose kiya tha maine nhi"He said looking in her eyes and then continue "Uss waqt mujhe samajh hi nhi aa raha tha ki mai kya kahu.Teenage ki starting thi aur pyar jaise words bahut sensitive the mere liye . Manav was jealous and Mehar was angry strictly warning me ki mai Niyati ko uski bhabhi ke bare me sochu bhi na and worst part tab thi jab hume pta chla ki papa ne humari baate sun li hai"He said still looking at her who is now listening him attentively.
Dev-"Mai dar gya tha. itna ki agar papa strictly bhi mujhe bulate to mai ro padta. . Per papa ne pyar se mujhe samjhaya ki Niyati mere liye feel kar rahi hai it was mere infactuation aur btaya ki har chiz ka ek waqt hota hai aur mere life me bhi wo waqt aayegaa jab wo meri jivansathi meri sath hogi
He said last line looking into her eyes while she looks here and there with increased heartbeat .
Dev-"Mere liye wo pal kabhi nhi aane wala tha "
She looks at him instantly .
Dev-"kyunki mai janta tha ki meri life baki ladko ki tarah nhi hai .Shayad shaadi ,pyaar ye sab mere liye nhi hai.
He takes a pause and again looks at the couples
Dev-"jab hume pta hota hai na ki kuch baatein nhi ho sakti wo humare liye ek khwyaish ban jata hai kabhi na pura hone wali.Aaisa hi kuch mere saath tha."
He gently hold her both palm which is on table and looks in her eyes.
Dev-"per jab se mujhe tum mili meri wo kabhi na puri hone wali khwaish puri hone lagi wo bhi tab jab maine khwaab tak dekhne choor diye the.Jab maine tumhe pehli baar dekha first time in my life I feel ki mai bas tumhe dekhta rahu.I felt ki tumhare sath aur pal bitau .Jab tum gayi I wish ki tumse dubara milu.A strange connection feel hua. laga jaise KUCH TO HAI TERE MERE DARMIYAN"
Dev-"Tumhe jab dekha to aaisa laga jaise na jane kab se tumhe dekhne ki tamanna thi.I am not saying ki tumse jyada khubsurat ladki maine aaj tak nhi dekhi . per ye keh sakta hu ki koi bhi khubsurati in aankhon me nhi basi . Jab tumhe dubara Vivan ke ghar me dekha na jane kyu sukoon se mila.pehli baat kisi se baatein karne ke bahane dhundne laga . pehli baar kisi ke sath waqt bitane ka man karne laga . pehli baar kisi se dosti karne ka man karne laga.Kab tumhare sath flirt karne laga pta hi nhi chla"
Ananya looks at him like when this happened.
"Happy valentines day"He said winking with smile while she looks at him with full o shaped mouth and then smile looking away from him .
"waqt se saath realise hua ki you are not just friend.Uss waqt maine apni feelings ko hormones effect keh kar tal diya "He chuckled saying this making her smile more wider."and again waqt ne ehsaas karwaya ki I am not just attracted toward you"He said looking at her pressing her hand slightly .Her heartbeat increases with the time and she is looking at him waiting for him to speak.
Dev-"MUJHE TUMSE PYAR HO GAYA AS A BOY LOVES A GIRL . ISHQ WALA LOVE."
He said which make her remember that day when she was explaining about Valentine's day ,about ishq wala Love.
"I will not say ki mai tumhe humesha khush rakhunga kyuki ye possible hi nhi hai.Agar aapke destiny me pain hai to wo to milega hi .Aur mere sath to dard free offer me milega.Dev ke saath takleef free free free."He said moving his hand in air.His expression changes into painful one with sarcastic smile.
"per mai ye vada kar sakta hu ki tumhare har dard me tumhare sath nibhaunga.Tumhare aanshuyo se meri aankhein bhi naam hogi."He said placing his hand over her once again .
Dev-" Mai vada nhi karunga ki mai tumhe shikayat ka mauka nhi dunga per itna vada jarur karta hu ki kabhi tumahari shikayat ko nazarandaj nhi karunga. Hum ladenge , jhagdenge,kabhi fake wali ,to kabhi real wali per end of the day hum ek dusre ko mana lenge.Mai sara din tumse cheesy baate nhi kar sakta. mujhse nhi hoga.Mai tumse shikayat karunga, tumhari kuch baate mujhe irritate bhi karegi,tum agar kabhi moti ho gayi to mai bolunga ki you are fat .Ha per meri shikayat, meri irritation ,tumhare looks Kisi bhi wajah se mera pyar kam nhi hoga.I will always love you .Mai din me baar baar na bolu phir bhi I will love you .
She is too overwhelmed to say anything .Her eyes are filled with tears.She has seen many confession,in movies,in college .Everyone do Many fancy things like bending on knees , heart shaped decoration ,fancy dialogues,poetry and what not but never ever in her life she saw this type of honest confession.She knows what he said is true and it is from his heart.Tears rolled down from her eyes .She feels sudden urge to hug him but control herself looking at surroundings.
"Anu I am sorry mai tumhe hurt nhi karna chahta tha .I am sorry mai bas ..."He said looking at her tears.
"that's why mai tumhe dabbu bulati hu"She said smiling wiping her tears "Idiot ho tum but still I ....."
She stops in the middle due to shyness . While he smiles knowing her nature .Ananya is perfect blend of modern and traditional .She is a brave girl with anger issue but at the same time too much shy . He observed that she never hug him in front of family members and her blush whenever he admires her either from eyes or from words
"Dance?"he asked forwarding his hand toward her and she give her hand smiling shyly .They both goes toward dance floor .
He places his hand on her waist while she place her hand on his shoulder and starts couple dance on slow music looking in eachother eyes without blinking .
There journey has started with fight ,then trust , friendship and love.They together have covered a long path, sharing pain of one another,healing each other wounds, looking for happiness for each other .But now it is their happiness ,it is their pain,it is their wound.
There is much more to be healed . Journey is still on and they are still on the way.But now It is there journey.
