William POV- continued
After driving for a short while, you arrive at a shopping mall and all go inside.
Chase and Mahkaila hold hands, Alex and (Y/N) hold hands and you walk behind them looking down with your hands in your pockets, a few people stop you on the way in and ask for photos with you, Alex and Chase, you all get photos while (Y/N) and Mahkaila stand watching smirking at you all and then carry on walking.
You go in a few shops looking around and start getting bored.
"Guys I'm gonna go for a stroll and grab a drink or something... and look for some new shoes, this shits boring!" You turn to walk away,
"ooooh hold up! I'm coming with you, I could do with new trainers!" (Y/N) shouts and leaves the other three waving at them running to catch up with you.
"Trainers?" You say looking at her funny,
"oh ha... sneakers!" She says mocking the American accent, you bite your lip before starting to laugh at her as you both walk off.
"Its my moms birthday soon and I'm planning a meal so i kinda need something to wear for that too, you'll have to help me find something nice to wear so i look half decent!" You say smirking,
"aww Will! You always look good!" She winks at you and walks ahead, you catch up to her and walk in a nearby shop.
You browse all the clothing and look at her, she looks bored and you laugh to yourself at her shaking your head, she looks at you and smiles going awkward and shy,
"could you not just wear your fire suit? You look hot in that? Always." She says getting quieter as she spoke, you raise your eye brow smirking, she blushes and walks away and you laugh at her.
Your POV
"I cant believe i just said that out loud! Dumb ass!!" You say in your head and facepalm.
You turn around as William pulls out a shirt and holds it up against himself,
"looks good!" You say smiling and nodding,
"just good or fire suit hot?" He says smirking you smirk back at him biting your lip so you don't laugh,
"shut up you ass... fire suit!" You say after a quick pause and quickly walk away laughing to yourself, you can feel the heat and know you just went red and walk with your head down.
You get your phone out and take a photo of William as he picks up a hat and glasses trying them on and turns to look at you pulling a funny face, he realises you took a photo and shakes his head not impressed and walks over to you and you show him the photo and he laughs at himself. You post it on your story on instagram with the caption "my best friend's a goofball!💙" And tag William in it and put your phone away smiling.
William goes and pays for his shirt and you walk out together.
"Fancy a drink? A hot one, not alcohol! Couldn't think of anything worse!" You laugh at him after he shouts it, making random people stare at you both, you nod and he walks over to Starbucks. William orders a coffee and turns to you asking what you'd like,
"umm i don't really know, I'm not a coffee person," you say looking up reading the menu.
"I hate to be that person but, we do tea!" One of the workers says to you, you put your tongue in your cheek holding back your laugh and look at William who starts laughing,
"I'm sorry, i love your accent by the way!" You laugh at her,
"yeah... you could say it makes me stand out! I'll have tea then if you have it! Feel privileged, you're the first American to offer me tea!" You say laughing, William pays for the drinks and they start making them and give you them once they are ready. You both head out and go find a bench to sit at.
William gets his phone out and you notice he had a notification saying you posted something and smile looking away as he clicks on it.
"Hey! Didn't realise you posted it on your story! Thats cute though... so I'm a good looking goofball?" He turns to you and you nod looking down at your drink, he looks back down at his phone and you see in the corner of your eye smiling to himself.
You get a notification on your phone saying he posted on his story and see that he shared your story onto his with the caption, "shopping's fun when you're with the right one" you look at him and smile,
"what?" He says looking at you, you shake your head and look away,
"nothing... you are gonna get so many questions about that story though!" He laughs before responding,
"and your gonna get so many followers!" You look down at your phone and watch the notifications appearing and laugh.
"Hows your tea anyways?" He asks staring into your eyes, you take a sip and look at him,
"fucking hot! Just burnt my tongue! Bitch!" He laughs at you shaking his head. You sit in silence for a couple minutes just staring at your tea before turning around to William.
"Hey Will?" He looks up at you,
"yeah, whats up?" He says drinking his coffee,
"I'm really sorry about Oliver. I tried to get a word in but they weren't having any of my shit, i feel awful about it all. I really don't want him to come back and work with us and especially be on your team!" He puts his coffee down and looks you right in the eyes,
"hey its not your fault! I don't want him to work with us either. I don't want him anywhere near you! If he goes anywhere near you i swear I'll kill him, i don't care what he says or does to me!" William says starting to raise his voice, you shush him and smile at him,
"thanks Will, i always got your guys' backs... and i care!" you shout back hitting his leg,
"i know you do," he smiles back and puts his arm around you giving you a quick hug. He stands up after this,
"lets go find you some trainers, shall we?" You laugh at the way he says it attempting a British accent,
"never do that again!" You say laughing at him and follow him to another shop.
He walks into a sports shop and you follow him in and head straight for the shoes you stop when you see a hoodie you like the look of in the men's section,
"thats nice!" You shout and William looks up at it nodding,
"yeah that is really nice actually, that'd look good on you," you smile to yourself biting your lip and carry on walking over to the shoes. You get butterflies after hearing him say that to you but you try shrug it off and carry on. You grab a pair of shoes you like and try them on and walk around in them,
"yes! These are the ones!" You say and look at William who is stood smiling at you, you put the shoes in the box and William walks away while you get your shoes back on and meets you at the till to pay.
You hand over the shoebox and get a shock when they read the price out and William quickly pays for it winking at you then grabs the bag and walks out, you follow him out quickly.
"Why did you do that?" You ask, stopping him grabbing his arm, he turns to look at you and shrugs,
"no reason, just thought I'd treat my best friend, that ok?" He smiles at you, you smile back shaking your head snapping out of it and going back to being serious again.
"But why was it that price?!" You ask raising your voice a little, he gives you the bag, you open it and see the hoodie you said you liked.
"Will! You didn't have to do that!" You say looking at him shocked and start smiling when you see him smile at you.
"You're a big softy, you know that!" You say to him smiling nudging his arm, he puts his arm around you smiling,
"anything for you," you smile at him and both start walking away. You feel butterflies again and look down biting your lip.
"We should go find them three, I'm getting hungry!" You say as William takes his hand from around you and you both continue walking side by side. His hand brushes against yours a couple times and you hold your breath and try move away but it just happens again, you look ahead and see Chase waving at you both, you wave back and head over to them.
"Hey baby, get anything nice?" Alex says smiling walking up to you,
"just some shoes and a hoodie... Will got me them," you say looking at William smiling,
"aww your goofball bestie!" Alex says laughing,
"you saw that huh?" William says facepalming, you all laugh.
"Right, don't know about you guys but I'm starting to get tired and I'm super hungry!" You say holding your belly giving Alex puppy eyes, he shakes his head smiling and stands in front of you turning around gesturing for you to get on his back, you hop on and he starts walking, you look back at Will and he grabs your bag, "thank you!" You shout to him and then they start following you both.
"Hey (Y/N)? I love you. No matter what happened yesterday, or all this shit with Oliver. I love you regardless and I'm glad to call you mine." Alex says to you out of the blue as your walking, you wrap your arms around his neck hugging him and kiss his cheek,
"aww, i love you too Alex," you say and he kisses your hand thats just under his chin.
Chase POV
You walk not far behind Alex with (Y/N) on his back, you hold Mahkaila's hand and William walks beside you and you all watch them walking in front of you. You watch William get his phone out and take a photo of them both then he stops for a minute as you and Mahkaila carry on walking and runs to catch up to you,
"you good?" You say to him and he nods smiling and puts his phone away.
"You and Alex ok then?" Mahkaila asks William breaking the silence.
"Yeah he seems cool with everything. Has he sounded ok when he's been with you two?" William asks you both, Mahkaila nods in response.
"Yeah he seems fine, he doesn't talk a lot about her though, but he's quite a private person and it's clear he loves her..." you start saying to him before you're cut off by Mahkaila,
"...but he did mention that they nearly did stuff last night," she says pulling a face, you laugh and look at William who shakes his head, "thanks for filling me in... eww! At least they're ok though i guess," William says shrugging his shoulders and laughs.
You get to a Chinese restaurant and Alex points inside, you all nod and go inside, Alex drops (Y/N) and grabs her hand again and you all walk to a table sitting down. You all sit and chat and William sits on his phone for around 5 minutes before putting it away right as you all get notifications, William smiles and grabs a menu and you all look at him, he looks up at you all smirking and looks back down. You open the notification and see he had tagged you in a story, you click on it and see a photo of you and Mahkaila walking holding hands with the caption, "...and these two!😍" and had tagged you and Mahkaila in it, you share it onto your story and put a couple heart emojis. You notice that he had put something else on his story and click on it and its a photo of Alex with (Y/N) on his back kissing him on the cheek with the caption, "these two!😍" you smile and look up at (Y/N) and Alex who do the same looking up at you and Mahkaila. You all go to his next story and its both of the photos together this time with the caption,
"honestly couldn't ask for better best friends, these guys help me through thick and thin, no matter what! I might be the fifth wheel here, but i wouldn't change it for the world! I love you guys!😊"
You look over at William and he finally looks up and you smile, Alex does the same, (Y/N) and Mahkaila look at each other,
"thanks Willy b, thats so cute!" Mahkaila says.
"Aww Byron you're gonna make me cry! Love ya dude!" (Y/N) says smiling at him and gets up hugging him quickly stood behind him before sitting back down.
Someone finally gets to your table taking your order and you all order your food and drink and start talking about the race on Sunday,
"I'm taking my jet! You can all fly with me if you like?" Everyone nods and (Y/N) smirks,
"hello and welcome aboard Elliott airways, keep your seatbelts fastened, tables up and hold on tight!" She says holding her nose to sound more like a flight attendant, you all laugh at her and everyone looks at you all and someone brings over your drinks.
Soon after, the food comes and you all sit and eat. After food, you all get ready to leave. You all get back to William's car,
"I'll drive this time," William says opening the passenger door for (Y/N) to get in. You set off and fall asleep on Mahkaila's shoulder.
Alex POV
You sit staring at (Y/N) for a while on the drive back and she falls asleep, you look over at Chase who is also asleep on Mahkaila's shoulder and you chuckle to yourself.
"I cant move," Mahkaila whispers and you smile.
"Unlucky, your're stuck awake with me and Alex," William says looking at Mahkaila in the mirror, she pulls a face at him and smiles.
Not long later you stop at (Y/N)'s apartment, William wakes her up tapping her arm saying we were at her place, she gets out the car thanking Will.
"I'm gonna head home and get a change of clothes and come back here babe," you tell her, she smiles and nods and walks into her apartment. You set off again and get to Chase's and Mahkaila wakes him up and they get out, you and William say bye to them and they go into Chase's house, you get in the front with William and set off.
"Thanks for the little shoutout today, and the photo of me and (Y/N)," you say breaking the silence, he nods,
"its ok. You guys really mean a lot to me, I wasn't lying about that." He says back and looks at you giving you a quick smile.
You quickly arrive at your house and you say bye to William before running into your house and grabbing your clothes and telling your mom you were leaving for the weekend, explaining about Six Flags on the Monday after the race and said goodbye.
You drove to (Y/N)'s apartment and Imagine Dragons came on your radio, you smiled thinking about her and William singing it.
You finally arrive at her apartment and take your things inside, shes already showered and in her pyjamas and getting a drink, she turns around and smiles at you before taking some pain killers,
"you ok?" You ask her, she nods,
"just a headache and i feel sick but I'll be fine," she says walking up to you hugging you.
"Aw, wasn't expecting this," you smile hugging her back and kissing her head.
"I left the shower running for you, not saying you stink, just saying have a shower," she looks up at you laughing.
You head off to the bathroom and have a shower, when you get out you go straight into the bedroom and she's sat in bed watching Friends but stops watching and stares at you when you walk in, you quickly dry and put underwear on and climb into bed.
"Nice ass!" She says smirking at you,
"thanks! I squat daily to look this good," you say raising your eyebrows making her laugh. You grab her and pull her over to you and she gets comfy snuggling up to you, you lay beside her stroking her hair and are disturbed by both phones vibrating.
