"Even if you hide, It will still bite you back"

"Where is he now?" His shaking voice asked. The tears that once rolled through his face vanished only leaving wet stains on his delicate face. Win's body slightly shaking from his cries but still managed to stand up.
I knew that this would happen but I'm too stupid to not explain things to him. He's now finding Gun, The person who hurt him. Win sob lightly trying his best to catch his breaths after his cries. As I run my hands on his back comforting him.
His expression earlier, On how hard he tried lying to me but still failed in the end. Win must have known that it's him but tried to hide it from us, to me.Win's watery eyes met mine. I curved my lips on him for reassurance.
"Bright, Answer me" He asked settled on making me spill. A heavy sigh left my lips. Thoughts clouded my mind, thinking of excuses for him not to go.
"You can't go to him." I finally said eyes fixated on him. "He's studying from a different university also we are not sure on his next actions so stay still" I continued, eyes not leaving him.
His expression changed clearly unsatisfied from my answer. I'm sorry but this is for the best. Win scoff in disbelief turning is back attempting to walk away.
I gripped his wrist before he steps one more completely stopping him from getting out. He swayed his body to face me. His face having a sad expression on them.
"Why? Why are you stopping me? I just want this to be done!" His voice loud echoing through the walls. My eyes widen from his sudden words and tone. No, I didn't meant that way.
I felt my voice slightly cracking. The words that I want to say seems to have stopped from the tip of my tongue leaving me speechless. Taking a deep breath, I finally spoke as well as letting go of his wrist.
"This situation can't be solved on your way. He already did worst things once and He probably won't hesitate to do it again" The last words getting breathier as I tried to catch up. Heart beating fast from the tension.
"Then what do you want me to do? Just stay still?" He asked in disbelief. Win's stubbornness is kicking in still situated on his plan.
"For now, Yes, but I would assure you that I would tell you anything for now on" I voiced. He brightly faced me amazed but still doubt about my words.
"It's fine but can I ask you a favor?" He gazed down while asking. Why is is suddenly asking a favor? Even if he can't see, I nodded and hummed for him to continue.
"Can we go somewhere? I just need the space" He continued his request. Now, facing me with such lone eyes. I can't resist this. I nodded and looked away feeling my face heat up. Is it the weather? Why so hot.
A pair of arms was wrapped through my body. I felt Win's faced snuggle on my chest making me inhale a deep breath, my face getting more hotter than before.
Oh dear...
"Here it is" Win directed, I immediately stopped the car. He hissed and complained quietly while trying to get out. The wounds must have hurt to bad.
Leaving him inside, I marched towards the other side to open the door for him. He sat there in shock for a few moments but quickly regained his senses, thanking me.
He started to walk to enter the park- prior to his request. Following him from behind as my eyes slowly watched his movements and the surroundings.
The feeling of guilt and conscience soon devoured me. The guilt and conscience of having to argue with him which caused all this and now knowing that he was treated that way because of me.
Win soon settled himself at the center of park not too far from our previous stop. He sat on one of the benches looking at the peaceful environment.
I stopped at my tracks with only a few meters away from each other. As I made up my mind not going with him. He needs space to think after all this.
The cozy morning sunlight gently touched Win's skin reflecting his fair skin. His eyes shines as he watched the people chatter and the children playing on the side. Not forgetting mentioning the calm nature surrounding. It is indeed calming.
I felt my smile forming as much as I don't want it to be displayed publicly, In this type of scenario I'll just let it pass. Win turned his back to face towards my direction.
He smiled gracefully as if there's no problems in this world. He waved his hand at me and chuckled. I hesitated to raised my hand crossing my arms in progress.
Win scrunch his forehead and raised his hand more higher. Probably thinking I didn't see it. I chuckled and finally waved back. My actions caused him to laugh that I even heard a little from here.
The feeling of my face getting hotter came back. In shock, I immediately touched my face to check if I'm alright.
This is so stupid
Moments have passed, Win got up and started to walk to me. He probably wants to go now. I ready my keys and other personal belongings in attempt to get prepared for our departure.
"I'm going to the bathroom over there. I will be quick, I promise" Win voiced slowly raising his pinky finger for another pinky promise.
I couldn't help but laugh at his cuteness. He really knows what to push just to get me. I wholeheartedly accepted his finger intertwining our fingers together. He soon left me behind to get to the bathroom.
An eerie feeling surrounded the once calm and peaceful atmosphere. The wind hushed and leaves scattered more. It's as if it's telling me to follow.
My legs has seem to got a mind of it's own now walking towards the place where Win went. The eerie atmosphere got more uncomfortable that I could help but swallow my saliva.
"Didn't I tell you to stay away!" A loud voice echoed from the outside of the bathroom. It's a familiar voice but definitely not Win's.
I turned my gaze and peek from the behind the wall. It's Win and Gun? Win was on the verge of tears but still didn't give in while Gun, He seems mad.
"This is very wrong! I don't care if you hurt me again but You can't tell me what to do!" Win shouted back gripping his fist till they turn white.
"We gone through this haven't we Win? Well what can I expect from a lowly person like you" Gun replied angrily. My vision got blurry and glitchy. Just like the first time I saw Win but it's not about him anymore it's Gun.
My vision still glitched but Gun is transforming to my eyes. He was on a traditional wear just like I saw Win but to a more expensive wear. The words that he utter played back again. As if he's part of it.
No, This can't happen. All I know is only Win. I didn't expect for others to come in the scene especially for a person like Gun who haven't shown any signs. Memories of the General and Gun started to play on my mind. He really is part of it.
Doubt started to cloud my mind. Now there's another one on the scene. What really does he want from us?
