Jimin stood in the lab watching Yoongi doing his work

He kept thinking to himself. Taehyung's and his father's words kept playing in his mind.
He wanted to confess, but he was too scared. What if he refuses worse? What if he fires him
"jimin!!" Yoongi called loudly
Jimin got back to reality and responded "huh huh yes."
"I have been calling you for the last 4 minutes. Where are you lost???"
"Umm, nothing sorry, sorry," he replied nervously, trying to keep himself together
"Bring me the samples," yoongi said and got back to his work
Jimin got the samples and gave it to him
Yoongi looked at it and then looked back at him with a frown!
"This is the wrong one, I need the one from yesterday's case," he said
"oh sorry sorry getting it,"
"may I know why you are so lost?" yoongi asked in a concerned way, looking at jimin closely
Jimin stood there looking at him in the eye... Oh those eyes, that's the one he fell in love with. The poor guy was trembling he just wanted to confess
"i.. I.. Um... I, " he stuttered
Yoongi kept looking at him with patience
"I am hungry," jimin blurted out
"What?" Frowned Yoongi
"i am very hungry, sir, and wanted to go for lunch, can I?" he said in one go
Yoongi chuckled "yeah go"
Jimin just handed him the correct samples and ran away
God, how badly I wish i could tell him about my feelings to this boy with whom I fell in love on the first sight. Sighed Yoongi
He still remembers the day jimin came to his lab and on the very first sight he fell for him but given that they were working together and yoongi was his senior he never confessed or acted on his feelings.
Only if he knew jimin felt the same about him
Taehyung was sitting in the teacher's room, checking some papers when his phone rang
"yes Jiminah"
"tae, can you meet me for lunch?" asked jimin. He just wanted to clear his mind and badly needed his best friend for this.
"Umm," taehyung looked at the clock "yeah sure i have a free period now, so let's meet at the restaurant beside your lab, yeah?"
"Okay," jimin replied quitely
Taehyung reached jimin's lab and parked his bike outside the office premises
Whistling, he entered the lab reception but soon stopped whistling and grinned widely..
"well well what are the odds?" he smiled
Jungkook, who was talking on the phone and turned around and saw him
I don't believe this thought Jungkook
"Look, i am telling you we are meant to be," said Taehyung, mimicking the voice of a romantic character from one of those clichéd 90s movies.
Jungkook put his phone back in his jacket and cleared his throat
"What are you doing here?" he asked
"came for you, obviously," taehyung grinned, showing his boxy smile
"You need to stop doing that,"
"What?"
"This"
"This what"
"This!! Giving weird answers, " Jungkook said, frowning and looking the other way.
Taehyung chuckled. "Come on, I can't do that. That's my charm," he said, running his fingers through his hair.
"That's annoying," Jungkook replies sternly, still looking the other way.
Taehyung moved and stood the way where Jungkook was facing
"dont lie, you know you like it," he said, dancing his eyebrows
Meanwhile, jimin reached there
"tae! Oh good morning Jungkook, sir, " he said, bowing.
Jungkook gave a simple nod
"tae, you know each other," Jimin was confused
Jungkook was about to answer when taehyung said...
"Yeah, he is my long lost soul mate." taehyung looked at him with heart eyes.
"Oh shut up!" Jungkook said, making a disgusted face which made taehyung pout
"we are neighbours," Jungkook said in the most formal way possible. Only if one could see how hard the man was trying to constrain his anger!
"oh thats great," jimin replied
"But how do you know him, jiminah?" asked tae
"Oh, we are working on the same case, and Jungkook sir is the senior detective."
Taehyung looked at him with an impressed face
Jungkook looked at him from the corner of his eyes
"Man, I really dont need to worry at all. My neighbour is a detective. If i ever get in trouble, this Hulk will save me, " Taehyung looked at him
"Wont you, officer?" he again danced his eyebrows.
Jungkook completely ignored it, acting as if Taehyung was not even there.
"Is Yoongi still in the lab?" he asked jimin
"Yeah,"
And then Jungkook just walked away from there without looking back.
"You really annoyed him," said jimin
Taehyung giggled. "That was fun," he winked.
