Tonight is the night,the night I'll be commiting to her to whatever plans are in the future,I hope she is too.I hope she also atleast allow me to mark her as my territory. The night I'll be pre-proposing to her.
On the phone:
Kris:Hello Babe,why did you call? I thought you are in a meeting
Herbert:Kakatapos lang love. Tatanong ko lang kung until what time last work mo?
Kris:Mga 7 this evening,why Babe?
Herbert:Uhm bibisita sana ako sa bahay mo eh,Okay lang ba?
Kris:Yun lang pala,Sure. Are you going home na ba? or may meeting kapa?
Herbert:Daan lang ako sa mall kasi bibilhan ko sila Bimb,and also Harvey nang pagkain then uuwi na ako
Kris:Sige babe,I have to go na rin,Bye! Take care
Herbert:You too,I love you

Herbert:Bye,see you later

Right away,I leave the office,go to the mall,went straight home,and rest.
Author's POV:
Hours have passed...
It's already 6PM when he wake up from his nap,he want to his bathroom to get ready,he just wear White Polo shirt and Maong Pants like he always wear when he is visiting her except to the fact that there is something new with him,something that will add to their relationship. Once he is done doing all his rituals,he get the ring. Lounge at his balcony,straightly stairing at it,while the ring shines,eyes sparking,lip forming a smile. He is already there for thirty minutes,when his helper knock to acknowledge him that the bouquet he order already arrived. After couple of breathing,he decided to leave the house,but before that he passed by at Harvey's room
Herbert:Nak,pupunta na ako kila Tita Kris mo
Harvey:Sige Dad,Goodluck
Herbert:Thank you,Alis na ako (about to close the door)
Harvey:And Dad!
Herbert:Ano yun Harvey? Langya ka,Ginugulat mo ako (laugh)
Harvey:Don't be too nervouse hah,explain it well to Tita,na why you are giving that ring to her,Okay?
Herbert:I will,Thank you
Harvey:Don't worry Dad,I already ask for assistance kay Ate
Herbert:Sige sige,una na ako
Harvey:Ingat Dad,Text me when you get there

Herbert just pick up the boquet then head his way to the carport,He leave right away after he settled inside the car,Herbert is the one who will drive for himself. While he is at the road,he is feeling anxious,Herbert knows that this are not a proposal,but just a promise ring. He is worrying at the fact that Kris might not accept what commitment that ring will do, After a restless ride,He finally arrived at her house safely. He just greet Josh,Bimb and Athena that are eating their dinner,he excused his self to go to Kris's room. He first texted Harvey,to let him know that he already arrived.

Kris:Come in
Herbert: Good evening love
Kris:Oh you're here na pala (kiss) how's your day?
Herbert:Okay lang (hug) Namiss kita
Kris: (giggle) Babe last sunday lang tayo nag kita,Miss mo na ako agad?
Herbert:Miss kita lagi eh (tickle her neck by the tip of his nose)
Kris:Babe,stop! (laugh) Do you already eat? Halika,let's eat na. Sabayan na natin mga bata sa baba

Kris:Sure what is it? (raising her two brows while smiling)
Herbert:Kasi love..(hold her hands,and gaze at her two eyes)
Kris:Babe tell it na,I'm getting hungry na (laugh)
Herbert:Eto na eto na (laugh,sigh) Wait dyan ka lang,wag kang aalis dyan hah
Kris:Babe! Ang weird mo (giggle)
Herbert:Basta dyan ka lang
Kris:Hurry Babe (giggle)
Herbert:Eto na (laugh) Love....(slowly kneeling down) this might not be the most expensive promise ring that I'll be giving,but the meaning on it was the important,"This ring that I am giving to you is a symbol of my love and my plans to marry you in the future" .This ring is a testament to my commitment to our relationship. I can't keep my mind when I thought of losing you. You complete me. Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino,would you take this promise ring,as the sign of our commitment to each other? (teary eyes)
Kris:I do Babe,I accept this ring (a tear fell)
Herbert:I love you (put the ring and hug her)

Long silence,just their sniffs
Herbert:Stop crying na mahal (wipe her tears) Baka sabihin ni Bimb,pinapaiyak kita (laugh)

Herbert:No love. I am the one who need to thank you (kiss her forehead) Halika na sa baba? You said you are already hungry
Kris:Let's go na,baka iniintay din nila us
Herbert:Ay wait,love for you nga pala (give her the boquet)

They joined the three at the dinner table,The ring is very attractive,because Bimby notice it easily
Bimby:Mom,new ring?
Kris: Ah yes honey (glanced at Herbert) From your Tito Herbert
Bimby:That is a engagement ring?! (shocked)
Kris:No Bimb,It's just a promise ring,Okay? Calm down
Bimby:Oh I thought it is,sayang (he lower his voice at his last word)

Bimby:It's nothing Momma,Let's eat na po
Herbert:How's school Bimb?
Bimby:It's okay Tito,we are already on a christmas break po
Herbert:Ay oo nga pala,love ano oras flight niyo tomorrow?
Kris:We will leave the house after lunch tomorrow babe,Why did you bother to ask pala?

Kris:Bimb! (giggle) You sure Babe?
Herbert:Yep,so ano?
Kris:Okaaayyy,the little boy is too excited (laugh)
Bimby:Stay overnight na lang kaya,Tito?
Herbert:Am I allowed little Buddy? (laugh)
Bimby:Of course you are Tito,but can we play PS4 before we sleep?
Kris:Honey,is that you? (laugh)
Bimby:Momma,se will be away for almost two weeks,kaya I will let Tito stay,I know naman the two of you will miss each other
Herbert:Thank you Buddy (tap his shoulder) by the way,Athena ready na gamit mo?
Athena:Yes Dad,tinulungan po ako ni Tita kanina
Kris:Sayang babe,hindi kayo makakasama ni Harvey
Herbert:Soon we will plan for our own trip,yung no work involved. Kuya enjoy there hah
Josh: I will Tito,you will not come po?
Herbert:Oo eh,nay work si Tito,next time na lang
After their dinner,the three boys play while Kris and Athena pack the rest of their clothes and things they will bring. It's almost midnight and all of them are still up,Athena volunteer to prepare for their snack. While they are eating,Herbert insisted to bring their luggage down,do they will not be in hurry tomorrow. They already decided to sleep. As usual,Kris get clothes from Josh's closet for Herbert to wear. It's already midnight when the two lay in her bed
Herbert:Thank you ulit mahal,I love you (kiss her temple)
Kris:I love you too (snuggled in his neck) Ay wait babe,I will get my phone lang
Herbert: (pull her back gently) Ako na love,Asan ba?
Kris:Me na
Herbert:Ako na (cupped her face)
Kris:Andun lang sa table,near sa door babe

Kris sat up while Herbert lay down at her side,wrapping his arm to her
Herbert:Ano gagawin mo,love?
Kris:I will post something lang,wait
She post the picture of her hand where the ring are in her middle finger while holding the boquet that Herbert gave to her,with the caption of " P R O M I S E ". After sucessefully posting the photo,she put her phone on the side table of her bed,And joined Herbert.
Kris:Goodnight Babe
Herbert:Goodnight Mahal (making siksik at her neck) I will miss you
Kris:Me too,behave hah while I'm away.I trust you
Herbert:Sayo lang ako,Ingat din kayo don hah
Kris:Thank you,Let's sleep na
Herbert: I will sleep like this na (making more siksik)
Kris:Babe! (giggle) I will miss you a lot than you do (hug him tight)
