(Read Ahaan's dialogues in a drunk tone ;)
As Ahaan fell into Ishqi's arms, she felt her heart racing, "A-AVM, aap theek toh hai na??" she asked him while he chuckled and lifted his head from her shoulder & looked into her eyes, "Nahiiiii, theek hi toh nahi houn meinnnn" he replied as he walked into her room and slumped onto her bed.
Ishqi facepalmed herself, "inhe iss haal mein kissi ne dekh liya..woh bhi iss time, mere saath toh bohot barah siyyapa hojaiga!" she mumbled and immediately locked the door.
Ishqi walked over to Ahaan who was in his own world, "P-Pehla nashaaaa...pehla khumaarrr- naya pyaar haiii..naya intezaarrrr" she heard Ahaan drunkenly singing and a giggle escaped her lips. She took a seat beside him and he immediately grasped her hands in his.
Ishqi: A-AVM y-yeh a-aap kya k-
Ahaan cut her off, "Pyaar kiya toh darna kya!"
Ishqi: P-Pyaar?- They hadn't gotten to that yet, for now it was just some feelings. Hearing Ahaan describe the feelings he had for her as "love" made butterflies fly fast circles in her stomach.
Ahaan: Haannn-
Ishqi protested but couldn't control the hue of red that coated her cheeks, "AVM, abhi mein Rahul ki fiancee houn are aap Rhea ke...kissi ne dekh liya toh siyaapa hojaiga!"-
Ahaan was in no mood to leave, it was his first love and he wanted to spend all his time with Ishqi, in a sober state he could barely control himself but now as he was drunk, there was zero control.
Ahaan: Ishqiiii, tum na b-bohot zyada soochti ho! K-Koi nai aaiga! he said and as he noticed Ishqi fidgeting with her engagement ring, the flashes of the engagement ceremony flashed before his eyes, "Accha tum mujhe ek baat toh baatao" he said-
Ishqi: Hmm, boliye- mere maana karne se apne konsa nahi bolna- she whispered the last part-
Ahaan held her right hand and put his other hand over her fingers so the ring was no longer visible, "E-Engagement kyun karli uss Rahul se?! mujhe lagah tum aapni risky side dikougi, koi filmy scene hoga but tumne toh uss Rahul kor r-ring pehna di!"
Ishqi's lips curved into a smile, "Aapko burah lagah?" she asked him-
Ahaan: Burah? I hated ittttt!
Ishqi pouted, "Aapne bhi toh Rhea se engagement karli!"
Ahaan: H-Haan because tumne pehle Rahul se karli...I swear agar tum na karti toh mein bhi nahi karta-
Ishqi giggled, "AVM, engagement thi koi game thodi na ke mein karun toh aap karein, mein na karun toh aap bhi na karein"
Ishqi: Aisa thodi na hota hai...
Ahaan: Accha? Phir toh aisa bhi nahi hona chahiye tha jaisa hua-
Ishqi: Kya?
Ahaan: Mujhe tumse pyaar jab tum kissi aur se engagement karne jaa rahi thi...but hua na?
Ishqi blushed, "A-Anything is possible Ishqiiii" Ahaan said-
Ishqi cleared her throat, "A-Aap ko itni charh kaise gayi?!"
Ahaan: charh?
Ishqi: Offo, I mean ke aap itne drunk kaise hogaye??
Ahaan: Mein jaab bohot zyada k-khush hota houn na toh tab dherrrr saari beer peeta houn
Ishqi: Aaj aap khush the?
Ahaan: Pata nahi...he giggled- matlab aaj hum dono ke beech itna kuch hua...that made me really happy but phir woh engagements ne saara ka saara mood kharab kardiya!
Ishqi: AVM, aap meri samaj mein kabhi nahi aaoge...Mujhe toh yakeen hi nahi horaha ke Mr. Sanskari- against love Ahaan Veer Malhotra ko mujhse p-py-
Ahaan: Pyaar, he completed her sentence-
Ishqi: Hogaya-
Ahaan: Against nahi tha it's just mujhe kabhi lagah nahi tha ke I'll fall in love...woh bhi shaadi se pehle...Yakeen to mujhe bhi nahi horaha, he chuckled-
Ahaan scooted closer to Ishqi, more than he already was- "Tumhe pata hai Ishqi, jab tumne mere se kaha that "ishk par zor nahi" "pyaar kabhi bhi kissi se hojata hai" "you can't control whom you fall for"....toh tab hi mujhe realize hua ke you're right! A-Aur phir mere mann mein jo tumhare liye feelings aayi woh meine deny nahi ki..."
Ishqi: Ek second, meine yeh saab kab kaha tha?!
Ahaan: Jab tumhe charhi hui thi...p-party wali raat!
Ishqi: Charhi? Meri language? she giggled while a slight shade of blush covered Ahaan's cheeks.
Ahaan: Pyaar ka kaamal...he replied-
Ishqi's eyes slightly widened, "AVM, mujhe yakeen nahi horaha ke yeh aap hai...nashe mein hi sahi lekin itne expressive!"
Ahaan chuckled, "you're so cuteeee Ishqi" he said and gently slided his hand across her neck and cupped her face. Ishqi looked into his eyes and saw pure love and adoration for her, her heart skipped a beat. Ahaan Veer Malhotra aka her AVM aka someone who she'd fallen for and who loved her back was drunk and he was being ultra expressive today.
She couldn't believe he was the same akru and annoying person she first met in a parking lot a few weeks ago. A lot had changed in between them since then. As Ahaan moved closer Ishqi closed her eyes, he knew he had her permission to advance further.
Ahaan's face was just a mere two centimetres away from Ishqi's when he stopped and opened his eyes only to witness her innocent and beautiful face, he admired her beauty for a few seconds, wanting time to stop and the moment to pause.
He closed his eyes but dodged her lips and placed a soft kiss on her cheek, she smiled but kept her eyes closed and savoured the moment. They remained like that for a few moments, Ishqi could feel Ahaan's breath fanning her neck, it sent shivers down her spine. Both of them were living in the best(est) moment of their lives.
Ahaan had never been in this sort of proximity with any other girl before, Ishqi was his first and last. He acknowledged the fact that everything had happened really quickly, they'd met & fallen in love within a span of just under 2 weeks! but one thing he was sure of was that this girl aka Ishqi was it. She was forever going to be the love of his life no matter what the future held for them.
As Ishqi and Ahaan were living in their moment & soaking in the love they felt for each other there was a knock on the door that interrupted them. "Iss waqt kon agaya?" Ishqi whispered-
"Ishqi, mein Rahul.." she heard from outside the door and her eyes widened, "Oh God!!!" Ishqi thought-
Ahaan: Yeh banda iss waqt yahan kya kar raha hai- he jealously uttered-
Ishqi: Yeh banda I- I mean Rahul..pata nahi!!!
"Ishqiii!!" she heard Rahul say again but she didn't reply, "Ishqi??" Rahul said for the fifth time and Ahaan lost his patience,"KYA PROB-" he was cut off by Ishqi pressing her finger against his lips while a horrified expression appeared on her face, she hoped Rahul hadn't heard that.
She remained still for two minutes and upon hearing no more of Rahul she assumed he'd left. She slowly removed her finger from Ahaan's lips, and gazed at him whose eyes were already adoring her.
She was about to say something when her phone rang, she checked the caller ID, it was Rahul. "AVMMM, uss ne sunn toh nahi liya??"
Ahaan: Arrey Ishqi, relax- ussne sunn bhi liya toh kya? Mein houn na..chilllll
Ishqi: AVM aap na- she stopped mid-sentence and thought, "Ishqi, AVM aapni full senses mein nahi hai...ek toh abhi unko ishq ka bukhar bhi charha hua hai and itne high bhi hai..jo bhi tu keh gi woh unke sar ke upar se guzare ga"
Ahaan: M-Mein kya?
Ishqi: Kuch nahi, but aab please kuch mat boliye ga- she replied and answered the call-
"He-Hello Rahul..iss waqt call kyun ki? b-bolo, koi kaam tha kya?"
R: Hii Ishqi, kaisi ho...mein abhi aya tha but shayad tumne sunna nahi...
Ahaan: Sunna tha woh buss tumse baat nahi karna chahati abhi, he mumbled while Ishqi glared at him-
I: Ah um woh actually mein m-movie dekh rahi thi na, issilye shayad awaz nahi aayi
R: Oh...haan, tumhare room se kissi ki awaz bhi aarahi thi, oh okay mein aaraha houn tum d-
I: NAHI! Tum mat aao! I mean ke abhi bohot late hogaya hai na aur mujhe bohot neend bhi arahi hai toh hum kal subah milte hai..okay?
R: Oh. Okay bye-
"Bye" she said as she hung up the phone and Ahaan showed her a thumbs-up, Ishqi chuckled. Ishqi shook her head, "Aaj raat ke liye kaafi adventures hogaye, aab aaiye mein aapko aapke room mein chod deti houn"
Ahaan: Nahiiii, he whined-
Ishqi: Doobara koi aajaiga AVM!
Ahaan: Toh? Tum toh meri ho na, he paused, "haina?"
Ishqi blushed and lowered her gaze while she nodded- "T-Toh buss! Mein toh yahin pe soe ga, t-tumhare paas!" he declared-
Ishqi: B-but AVM-
He cut her off, "mereko toh bohot neend arahi hai" he put his head on her lap while she smiled and pulled the blanket over them, Ishqi rested her back on the headboard and turned the lamp off. She gently caressed his hair with one hand while he grasped the other and placed a soft kiss on it, "goodnight Ishqi" he slurred, already half asleep. "Good night AVM" Ishqi replied and both dozed off to sleep with a content smile on their faces.
