"Come on Ryujin, I need to leave now." Yeji said once more.
Ryujin only tightened her hold on the brunette's waist. "Just five more minutes. Please?" She pleaded. Yeji sighed, but complied as she stopped resisting and leaned down on Ryujin, who was laying on the couch.
They were relaxing in Ryujin's empty house and after watching their second movie and finishing their second bag of popcorn, their attention shifted somewhere else.
The younger grinned happily and kissed Yeji slowly, carefully taking off her glasses. She placed them behind her and put her hands back on Yeji's waist, softly trailing them up and down her back.
Yeji whimpered under her breath as Ryujin bit onto her lower lip. She was about to go and attack the younger's neck, but a voice suddenly made them both freeze.
"And what do you young ladies think you're doing?"
The bright light turned on and Yeji snapped her head up to see a blurry figure of a woman standing in front of them with her arms crossed.
"Mom!" Ryujin exclaimed from underneath her and Yeji then flung herself off of her, falling rather ungracefully onto the floor.
"Ryujin's mom! Miss Shin!" The brunette exclaimed tapping around randomly to find her glasses so she could see properly. Ryujin handed the frames to Yeji and she sighed in relief, finally being able to see.
"What are you doing here? You were supposed be gone till night." Ryujin asked, partly in irritation. She sat up and adjusted her partly wrinkled clothes.
"In case you guys didn't notice, it is nighttime." She said, gesturing to the night sky that was beyond the open curtains.
Yeji scrambled to her feet and dusted off her clothes, bowing. "Sorry, I was just headed out." She said in apology.
Ryujin's mom looked at the two of them and sighed. "I never expected to come home to find my daughter making out on my special, custom made couch." She murmured under her breath. Ryujin stood up beside Yeji, chuckling nervously.
"Sorry mom, I insisted for Yeji to stay longer." she said, rubbing the back of her neck.
Yeji's face couldn't have possibly been more red than it was, but she was proved wrong when Miss Shin gestured to her neck. "You have a little mark there."
Yeji widened her eyes and immediately covered up her neck, harshly slapping her hand over the mark. It stung badly, but it was nothing compared to the embarrassment she was facing at the moment.
At that, Ryujin's mom laughed, shaking her head.
"Well, it's best you get home to your parents, Yeji. Ryujin? Make sure she gets there safely. It's pretty dark out there." Her mom reminded her before finally turning around and heading up the stairs.
When Ryujin's mom was safely out of sight, Yeji wailed and fell onto the couch, burying her face in a pillow.
"I wish the ground can just open up and take me in right now." Her voice came out muffled, but Ryujin heard her.
She only laughed and rubbed Yeji's back in sympathy.

"Now that's a lot of people." Yeji commented as she got out of the car. Ryujin nodded her head as she came out too. She rounded the car and grabbed hold of the brunette's hand smiling gently. Yeji smiled back and looked at Ryujin with softness in her eyes.
A loud slam was heard behind them and they turned around to see Minju come out, annoyed. "You do realize that I was in the car too right?"
Ryujin laughed and Yeji snorted while her friend stomped up to them.
"I am honestly getting sick of being single already." She grumbled, crossing her arms.
"Well who knows, maybe you'll find someone at this party. It for sure has a ton of new faces." Yeji suggested with a smirk. Ryujin hummed in agreement.
"Yeri lives on the other side of town, so she always invites the other school as well." Ryujin explained. They all looked at the house that had people littered all over the lawn and some even leaning on cars, hanging out together.
The party had barely started and there were already cups and trash scattered all over. Yeji winced in pity to those who would have to clean up the day after as they walked by into the house.
Squeezing through the groups of people with Ryujin leading the way, Yeji saw a few familiar faces and was even surprised to see members of the rival basketball team.
They continued on walking until they found Jisu, Yeri, and Joy.
"Or the three musketeers." Yeji snickered in her head at her thoughts. Minju looked at her in confusion and Yeji just waved it off.
"You guys made it!" Yeri sprang up from her seat and put her arms around Ryujin and Yeji, squeezing them together. Ryujin and Yeji winced feeling the unbelievably strong grip.
"Yeri, you idiot. You're gonna choke them out." Jisu commented with a dead tone.
The blonde, who was clearly already drunk, just laughed loudly. "Sorry, sorry." She released her grip and Yeji and Ryujin sighed in relief.
Choi Jisu was about to say something else, most likely make a snarky comment, when her phone vibrated and she looked down with a sudden smile.
Ryujin rose her eyebrow at that.
"I'll be back in a few minutes." The head cheerleader said abruptly and downed the rest of her drink before getting up and disappearing into the crowd.
Yeri and Joy only looked at each with knowing looks and snorted.
"I've never seen her so bright before." Yeji said in astonishment. "And I've lived beside her for years."
"Yeah." Ryujin said, her head still turned in the direction Jisu had left.
"Blech." Yeji looked at Minju who had a disgusted expression on her face, holding a plastic cup. "Minju, don't just pick up a random drink!" The brunette exclaimed in alarm.
"It looked colorful." She just responded, pouting.
Ryujin was about to step into the crowd and follow Jisu, but a way too familiar face popped up in front of her.
"Well if it isn't Ryujin!"
The silver haired widened her eyes in alarm, seeing the captain of the basketball team on the other side of town. She smiled forcefully.
"Hey there, Chaewon."
Chaewon smiled widely and held out her hand. Ryujin chuckled and shook it, trying to look over her shoulder to try and find Jisu.
"So I heard you got into a nasty fight during the tournament." Chaewon said, taking a sip of her drink. Ryujin scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"Yeah, things got a little out of hand last time." She explained.
At that, Yeji and Minju both approached the two, still bickering over Minju taking a sip of an unknown drink.
"Uhm, this is Yeji. My girlfriend." Ryujin put her arm around Yeji's waist and pulled her a little closer to her. The brunette, caught off guard, widened her eyes and waved awkwardly.
"And this is Minju, my friend." Ryujin gestured to the older girl, who was inspecting the cup, swirling the liquid around attentively. Chaewon nodded in greeting.
"God, I can't even tell what things they put in here-" Suddenly Minju was bumped from behind and the drink she was holding toppled over, spilling all over the unexpecting Chaewon.
Ryujin opened her mouth in shock, while Yeji resisted the urge to burst out laughing at the frozen face of her best friend, who paled the second it happened.
Chaewon looked down at her now drenched outfit in disbelief and was about to go off, but she gazed up to look at the adorably horrified face of...Minju was it?
"Oh my god. I am so sorry." Minju said and quickly approached her, pulling Yeji's emergency napkins out of her pocket.
"Hey!" Yeji exclaimed at the sudden snatch, but Minju ignored her as she began to ferociously scrub onto the captain's shirt.
"Hey, it's really no big deal." Chaewon said at the brunette who suddenly invaded her privacy. Minju didn't listen, and only scrubbed even harder. "Why isn't the stupid stain coming out." She grumbled.
"Uhm, I think you're only making it worse." The taller said with a grimace. Minju's head snapped up. "O-Oh! Sorry." She immediately backed up and bowed deeply in apology.
"It's fine it's fine. I'll just wash it off in the bathroom." Chaewon said and smiled. "If you say so. I'm really sorry." Minju apologized once again.
"H-Here, I'll help you wash it off. Let's go to the restroom." Minju didn't wait for a response from the latter and looped her arm around hers, dragging her away.
Chaewon could only look at Ryujin with a confused and scared face, but Ryujin just shrugged. She finally turned around to find her girlfriend doubling over from laughter.
"Oh my god. I should've recorded that. Did-" Yeji let out another wheeze of laughter. "Did you see how scared she looked." She clapped her hands, snickering once again.
Ryujin rose one of her eyebrows in amusement. "You know her expression reminded me of a certain someone." She said.
Yeji stopped laughing at looked in confusion.
"Who?"
"You whenever Choi Jisu is around." Ryujin responded.
Yeji opened her mouth in disbelief. "You did not just say that." All laughter gone from her voice.
Ryujin snickered behind her hand, desperately trying to hide her laughter.
"Ryujin!" Yeji swatted her hand at Ryujin, but the captain only caught hold of it, tugging Yeji close to her body. She put her arms around her and rocked them back and forth.
"I was just joking." Ryujin said with a gently kiss on top of the brunette's head.
Yeji pouted and crossed her arms, head tucked under Ryujin's chin. "That is no joking matter. My encounters with Choi Jisu cause genuine fear in my anatomy."
"I know baby."
"I guess we should go find Minju right?" Yeji murmured. Ryujin hummed in agreement. "Before she scares off Chaewon even more." She said and the older laughed once more.
The two squeezed through everyone and headed up the stairs, dodging quite a few couples who were busy eating each others faces.
When Yeji felt a drip land on her face she squealed. "Ryujin!" She aggressively wiped off the side of her face with her shirt, feeling disgusted.
"Come on." Ryujin led on and they opened several doors, some leading to closets and bedrooms that a few were busy in.
The amount of times Yeji cringed that night was one for the record books.
Opening another door, Yeji peaked her head in and called out for her friend, but the sight that welcomed her made her scream.
"Minju?!" She widened her eyes and spun around, slamming her body into the wall beside the door. She tumbled to the floor and Ryujin entered in as well, immediately crouching down beside Yeji. "Yeji are you alright?" She asked in alarm. The brunette already had a bump forming on her forehead.
"I didn't know you two were into exhibitionism."
The sly, calm voice that greeted her made Ryujin whip her head around to see Choi Jisu, practically naked, straddling a dazed...Chaeryeong?
"Chaeryeong?!" Ryujin yelled in shock and shut her eyes closed, turning away from the sight that made her want to claw her eyeballs out.
At that, Chaeryeong finally snapped out of her haze and widened her eyes seeing Ryujin and Yeji only meters away from her, seeing her in the middle of doing it with Choi Jisu.
"R-R-Ryujin!" The raven haired yelled and scrambled away to get under the cover of the blanket, causing Jisu to tumble onto the bed, falling off of her.
"Hey!" The blonde said, rather unpleased that she was practically tossed off of the player.
"AH!" Yeji screamed out once again once she came back to it. She squirmed up on her feet and ran out of the room. "I'M SORRY!"
Ryujin could hear her scream, her voice trailing off.
"I-It's not what it looks like." Chaeryeong said, finally covered up. Ryujin opened her eyes to face her but Jisu was still sitting there, not bothered by her lack of clothes at all. In face she flaunted it.
"You told me you weren't even coming to the party." The silver haired got up and looked at Chaeryeong, ignoring Choi Jisu. "Kept saying you were busy handling family stuff."
"You even cancelled on me countless times. I'm not an idiot Chaeryeong. I know what you two were doing."
The raven haired looked down, feeling guilty.
Choi Jisu rolled her eyes at the situation. She didn't come into this room to just watch two best friends confront each other. Suddenly a lightbulb dinged in her head.
The head cheerleader got up and walked towards Ryujin. "You know, you're more than welcome to join us, Ryujin. The more the merrier." The blonde suggested.
Ryujin's face twisted into disgust. "No thank you. And goodbye Chaeryeong." She turned around and exited.
Chaeryeong finally spoke up.
"We seriously need to talk."
