"Dad," I muffled into the phone. " I want to give you a chance to be my father, but you can't control my life like you used to," I sniffled.
No one said a thing, and I couldn't even figure out what's going on.
Why did Rylan do that?
Is he really done, or is he just playing along with the idea I had?
"Fine, Meet me at the place you and Your boyfriend threatened me with your life," Ryan sighed.
Then the moment we bid our goodbyes I hopped out of bed and started backing a bag.
"Where the hell are you going in such a rush, and why did Rylan run out of here the way he did?" Nathen asked.
"Because we broke up," I stressed out.
I avoided eye contact with Nathan, already knowing that he's giving me a look with pity.
"I am going to heal my relationship with my father," I mumbled as I walked out of the room.
Then not even 10 minutes after I stormed out of the small house Everyone was planning on staying at, I received a call.
"What do you want spencer?" I sighed into the phone.
"What the hell is going on?!?" He shouted back at me, frustrated and confused.
"Rylan broke up with me, for wanting to get revenge on me dad. So I'm just going to fix it all, It doesn't matter," I explained.
"You're going to get yourself killed," He yelled into the phone.
I held the phone to my ear, walking in silence.
"Do you not get that?!?" He yelled again.
"If he was going to kill me he would have already!" I yelled into the phone, I hate getting mad. Especially over the phone, in moments like these. " Sometimes when a girl is going through something, she wants her father to be by herself. She hopes everything will get better and the father will change. I need time Spencer," My voice cracked.
"Fine, but I will be texting and calling you everyday, and I am sorry about what Rylan did," He trailed off.
"It's fine, he played me on. He tricked me into thinking he really cared, but I guess not," I bit the inside of my cheek, hoping it would prevent the tears from escaping.
Then I saw him.
Not my father, It was Rylan.
"Hey Spencer, I.. I gotta go, Bye," I said, not giving him the chance to say bye back or ask questions.
"You want to explain what the hell that was back there?" I mumbled, looking down at the ground with my arms crossed.
"I hated seeing you get hurt like that," Rylan stressed.
"So what? You broke up with me?" I shouted.
"Yeah, I broke up with you Aurora," He yelled back. "So the others would believe it," he chuckled, but not because he said something funny. It sounded like a laugh of pain.
Then Rylan looked around, like he was looking for something, and My eyes traced everywheres he looked.
Then he nodded towards an area, and I started to understand what was going on.
One thing I still don't understand is, If he really did break up with me or not.
But I am sure that he still is helping me get revenge, because he wouldn't have nodded towards my father if not.
He's hinting for me to do something so my father will actually believe me when I say I want to give him a chance.
I walked up to him and slapped him.
"How dare you use me just to get my dad's attraction. Go to hell Rylan," I storm off.
Hopefully I didn't hurt him.
Not gonna lie though, slapping him felt nice.
Now I have to go talk to my father.
"I know we had our differences, but I am willing to work them out. But you're not getting anywhere near Mylah," I put the deal out there.
"I said fine, did I not? What do I have to do to get you to like me like you use too?" Ryan asked.
"Stop hurting people and stop lying to me. Gain my trust and let me live my life like a normal teen. I'm 18 now," I responded.
"Okay, but care to explain why you all of a sudden changed your mind?" He asked.
"Every daughter needs a father, don't they not?" I lied, I don't need him. No girl needs her father, they just wish they had one. "He used me to get to you, he wanted me to help him get revenge on his father for killing his mother, but it turned out he didn't want my help, he wanted yours, and he used me to get you help. He made me think he had feelings for me, but I guess it was all a lie," I explained.
"Do we hate him?" He asked.
"Not enough to hurt him, if that's what you are asking," I mumbled.
He just nodded, and we both continued to walk.
"You know I wasn't always a bad father?" He blurted.
"Ya, from what I recall , that's bullshit," I chuckled.
"No really, We used to be one big happy family, but then your mother changed so I pushed you all away and got into the wrong group," He explained.
"Actually, I'm sorry I can't do this," I take a step back.
Then I turned around, spinning on my heels and began running towards Rylan.
The wind blew all over the place while I ran, what felt like forever.
But I don't care, Rylan is more important than anything.
He is what I need, and So if it means running forever to be with him. Then that's what I will do.
He must've heard me because he turned around at the vest timing, and I collided into his chest, embracing him into my arms.
"I can fix that later.. I don't want to bond with him, or fake it.. I want you, Only you," I mumbled into his chest. "Your revenge is first, and he can help, that's if you're up for it?" I looked him straight in the eyes.
"Aurora," He started.
"Rylan, No, I don't know if you meant the breakup or not but no. Just no," I stressed out.
But before I could say anything else Rylan leaned down and kissed me, On the lips. Immediately shutting me up.
Then before I know it, I'm waking up, With Rylan sleeping beside me, cuddled into my side.
Then I see my phone, so I try to reach over and grab it without waking him up.
But I'm surprised by the sharp feeling in my right side, right under my ribs.
Everything that just happened was a dream? The break up, me fainting, my dad. It was all a dream, but it made me realize something.
I need to change directions and realize the truth that's right in front of me, because sooner or later It'll be too late.

"Hey, can I talk to you, now that I'm out of the hospital and we are finally alone?" I say while Rylan and I walk the beautiful lake, holding hands.
"Sures what's up?" Rylan chuckled.
I stopped in my tracks, and pulled Rylan to a stop as well.
He looked at me, confused at first. But then he looked worried.
I placed his hands on my waists and then kissed him on the lips.
"I know I told you that I didn't know what we were but to just play along, But I know now, I know what I want us to be," I Looked over at the water poking my tongue to my cheek.
"Continue," He encouraged me, when a light chuckle.
"Well, Life is too short, and I know how much I like you, and trust me, It's a lot," I paused. "I want to be your girlfriend!! That is if you still want me to be, if that its okay, It just I really really like you and it would kill me if you said know, because holy fuck.. Anyways please don't break my heart here Rylan," I blurted, all sounding like a blur of words in my ears.
"Repeat that?" He raises a curious eyebrow, knowingly teasing me.
"You know what I said Rylan, I said I want to be your girlfriend," I groaned.
Then he fights back the smile that urged to break onto his face and shrug, turning around and walking away from me.
I ran after him and jumped onto his back, and I guess he saw that coming because he gripped onto the back of my thighs and twirled us around, then he pulled my body to the front of him and placed my feet on the ground.
"You cant do that to me, I just fucking admited how I felt and you shrugged, while walking away. What am I supposed to get from that," I sigh, dramatically.
"I don't know, You had me waiting for quite a while," He put on his thinking face and shrugged.
But I know he isn't being serious, Well I hope at least.
"Stop that," I giggled while jabbing my fingers into Rylan's gut.
After he let out a groan of pain he wrapped his arms around my waist before I could run away and spun me in the air again, Tickling me in the process.
"Ok Ok, I'm sorry," I giggled.
"Good," Rylan chuckled.
Once our fits of laughter were over Rylan placed both of his palms on each of my cheeks and pulled me into a kiss.
"One other thing though," I trailed off. "Well two things,"
Rylan looked at me confused again.
"My dad, I think he can help us. Well help you, with getting revenge, I know it doesn't sound like the best idea, but hear me out," I started thinking about how to word the plan I had already had beginning to plan in my head.
"No," Is all Rylan could say. "I won't let you ask the man who made your life hell to do me a favour," Rylan shakes his head repeatedly.
"Fine," I sighed, continuing my walking. Rethinking everything I just said.
I just wanted to help him get his revenge, His father fucking beat the crap out of him growing up and thats what caused his mom to have a heart attack.
So ya, I am mad that he wont let me at least try to help.
Then my phone started ringing and blowing up.
"Aurora?!?" Mylah stressed over the line, Causing me to Stop in my tracks.
"What's wrong Mylah?" I spun around and looked at Rylan.
"Moms hurt, were all hurt, Someone ran the car off of the road and into a ditch," Mylah Panicked.
"I will be there soon," I hung up the phone and Ran the way we came from where we parked the car.
