nomi was currently on the double decker bus and she stood up to record the scenery. "this is such a nice city." she complimented.
"this ain't my city baby, it's my city baby!" aitch exclaimed walking past her to take a seat.
meli, who was seated next to urban who had his arm slinging around her couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow. "was that your impression of an american accent?"
"why? it wasn't good or suttin."
nomi and meli made eye contact with each other and tried their best not to laugh. "nah. it was good aitch good job."
"you pullin' my leg?"
as meli and aitch continued to conversate nomi flipped the camera around so that it was on her and jack made his way to where she stood and got into the frame. he used his finger to move the hair out of her face that was stuck in her lipgloss. "you look good."
nomi wouldn't call their interaction yesterday an argument. more like a slightly heated discussion. the two have only shared brief words to each other since then which was when jack asked her what she wanted for breakfast and if she minded sharing a room with him, which she did as nomi roomed with meli instead getting a earful from urban in the process.
"thanks." she muttered cutting the video short.
"what's up with you?"
nomi furrowed her eyebrows was he really asking her that? she thought. "i should be asking you that. are we cool now or are you still throwing a fit?"
jack laughed dryly bringing a hand down his mouth. "wow." he muttered and nomi rolled her eyes and moved to take a seat next to aitch.
this is gonna be a long day.

nomi pulled her face away from aitch with a laugh. he was currently trying to put her on
to one of his favorite snacks but she was reluctant to take a bite of the eccles cake.
"try it." he urged and nomi reluctantly leaned forward and opened her mouth as he fed her.
seeing the look on her face aitch smirked and nodded his head, "it's fine, yeah? i told you."
"you were right." she admitted.
nomi felt eyes on her and could feel jack staring at her from where he stood with urban and meli. she did her best to ignore him and turned her attention back to aitch.
"ay!" urban shouted beckoning them over.
"we're getting back on the bus." meli informed offering nomi her hand which she graciously accepted
"its called a double decka."
"shut up aitch!"

after going clubbing, the group was back at the hotel room and nomi was seated on the little couch in the corner smiling as meli and urban played a very competitive game of uno.
"baby, you not playing right!" urban exclaimed angrily picking up 8 cards.
meli sucked her teeth and pulled out the manual from the box. "bruh read the fucking rules then!"
"i hate you." he muttered under his breath snatching the paper from her. "what was that?" meli asked leaning forward.
"i ain't say nothin'."
nomi smiled at the couple before looking back down at her phone.
"can we talk?" jack asks walking over to her, already taking a seat and leaning his elbows on his knees. he stared at her for a bit and sighed when she didn't respond. "all right, can you get off your phone? i'm tryna have a conversation with you here."
"you're the most stubborn woman i've ever met in my life bruh it's crazy." nomi simply ignored him and continued to type away on her phone, her long acrylics clacking against the glass starting to irritate him. "who the hell you textin'?"
"like it's any of your business."
"oh, so she speaks." he quirked an eyebrow. "and you're my business."
nomi scoffed. "yeah, no and i'm talking to aitch."
"aitch? you gave him your number?" he asks clasping his hands in front of him.
seeing the look on his face nomi sighed rolling her eyes, "don't tell me your jealous. he's a kid jack." she exclaimed.
"yeah, a kid you've been real close to the whole fuckin' day."
"you doing the most right now. we're just friends and anyways, it's not like we're together or anything."
nomi would've thought she had grown two heads from the way jack was looking at her. "what? i'm sorry repeat that for me, baby." he lifted up his hands and held them in front of his face as if he was praying, "i wanna make sure i heard you correctly because there is no way in hell you looked me in the eyes and said that shit."
"should we go?" meli asked with her cards held to her chest.
"no."
"yes."
"we actually didn't get to finish the game so if-"
"urban." jack warned looking at him and then at the door.
"alright i guess i'll just take the box." urban pocketed his cards and placed the uno box under his arm before he grabbed the middle deck of cards.
he stood up and somehow managed to drop the cards which scattered all over the floor.
meli brought her hand to her forehead. "just leave them."
"i didn't win yet." urban says bending down to pick up each card one by one.
"urb!" jack shouts gaining his attention, "get the fuck out bruh."
"okay, okay. my fault we're leaving." he slouched his shoulders in surrender, and dropped everything on the floor and offered meli his hand before they made their way out the front door leaving jack and nomi alone.
jack ran a hand over his face before giving nomi his full attention, once again. "...jack, you never officially asked me to be your girlfriend."
"i didn't think i had to." he exclaimed, "i thought you knew what was up." nomi raised an eyebrow and finally put her phone down, "are you dumb? why the fuck would i claim you if you're not gonna step up and officially ask me to be your girlfriend?"
jack took a deep breath, laughed and then firmly nodded his head. "alright i hear you and i apologize, let's me be straight up then...i want you. and i mean i want you, want you. baby, i've had a crush on you since i was a kid and i've waited patiently for you my whole life. but now i'm done waitin'. so, with that said... will you do me the honor of allowing me to be your boyfriend?" he licks his lips as he stares at her, "that clear enough for you princess?"
jack has never been good at masking his emotions and no matter how confident the words coming out of his mouth were, nomi knew the truth. he was nervous.
"about time."
"yeah?" jack questioned, craving the confirmation. to him this was a dream come true.
"yeah." she responded laughing as he reached over to wrap his arms around her not being able to contain his happiness. "c'mere. lil stubborn ass..." he mutters in her ear as he placed kisses on her collarbone making her giggle.
