I pulled out my phone and called Bonnie. She either knew I was safe and okay because of Stefan or he hasn't told her yet.
The phone rang once and Bonnie immediately picked up.
"Avery?!" Bonnie asks and I laugh.
"That's me" I say and I can see Rebekah look over at me.
Bonnie let's put a sigh of relief.
"Stefan told us that he talked to you, is everything okay?" Bonnie asks and I think about it for a moment.
"Um yeah.." I say and Bonnie sighs.
"No it's not, do you need a favor?" Bonnie asks and I feel so bad that it was the first thing she thought of.
"Yeah... I'm sorry Bon, but Klaus killed a witch and that's why the witches are angry at them, we were wondering if maybe you could contact them and maybe we can do something for them? For give them something I don't know, I'm just so sick of being here Bon, I miss Stef and Damon and Lena and Jer and Care and you, I wanna come home" I say and Bonnie sighs and I glance at Rebekah and I see a frown on her face.
"I'll see what I can do, I'll do my absolute best to get you home Av" Bonnie says and I smile.
"I know you will Bon, just don't pressure yourself or kill yourself trying to bring me home okay? Promise me?" I ask.
"Promise" Bonnie says and I smile.
"Okay, call me if you have any updates, bye Bon" I say as we both hang up and I just throw my phone back to Klaus and he catches it and puts it in my bag.
It's this thing we've done with each other ever since we got on the road. Klaus really isn't that bad. And he's really fun to be around with.
"Klaus pass me a water would you?" I ask and I grabs a water and tosses me it.
"Thanks" I say taking a sip of water and putting it in the cup holder.
-2 hours later-
After two hours of driving and still not talking to Rebekah I just closed my eyes and rested them.
After a moment I heard Klaus start speaking to Rebekah after they both thought I was asleep.
"You believed Marcellus, over me? Over Avery?" Klaus's says and Rebekah sighs.
"I!- I don't know Nik! I would believe Avery over Marcel any day! I just thought-" Rebekah starts but Klaus cuts her off.
"Thought what? That if he told you something that would keep you safe you would fall back in love with him again for the 100th time? Avery is a thousand times better than him!" Klaus says and Rebekah snaps back.
"I know! I know she is! She always will be, and when he said that he thought he saw the hunter I don't know... the first thing that came to my mind was Avery, and getting her and you out of New Orleans as fast as possible" Rebekah says and I can't help but smile to myself but neither of the two Mikaelson's can see it.
"He told me that he was only telling me to protect me, and that he didn't care about you or Avery, and Avery was the first possible thing that came to my mind, and as soon as he told me that he only cared about me I immediately left to go find her and you, so I'm sorry for believing him for one second to protect my brother and.... Avery" Rebekah says as she hesitates on the last part.
Both of them say in silence as I still pretended to be asleep as Klaus broke the silence.
"I'm rooting for the two of you, sister, I actually like Avery, and I think that she's good for you, and a million times better for you than Marcellus and just better than him in general" Klaus says and Rebekah sighs as she keeps her eyes on the road.
"She'll always be better than Marcel, and I'd be a damn fool if I ever chose him over her, or even believed him ever again" Rebekah says and I smile as we keep driving.
-30 minutes later-
After 30 minutes Rebekah made a pit stop at a gas station for gas and so we could grab more snacks and drinks.
Klaus stayed behind to fill gas in the car while me and Rebekah went inside to get snacks and use the bathroom.
When we walked inside Rebekah looked over at me.
"If you need to you can go use the bathroom, I'll stay out here and watch" Rebekah says looking behind her out the windows and still seeing Klaus fill the car with gas.
"Thanks" I say and head to the bathroom and go and use it.
I wash my hands and leave the bathroom and look for Rebekah but can't seem to find her.
"I do not understand this girl sometimes" I say mostly to myself as Rebekah comes out of a room.
"Rebekah? What we're you?-" I start to ask as I open the door and see a man standing there with a bloody neck.
"Rebekah! You fed on him!" I whisper scolding Rebekah.
"It's fine, I'll heal him and I'll compel him to forget, here, buy whatever you want" Rebekah says hanging me money and I grab it and go and get snacks and drinks.
I got some of my favorite snacks and drinks but also got some of Klaus's and Rebekah's favorite snacks and drinks and I'm waiting in line when Rebekah walks up to me and the guys she fed on comes out of the room with a healthy neck and looking fine.
"Told you it would be fine" Rebekah says and I roll my eyes.
"Avery I didn't mean what I said, I regret it all" Rebekah says and I turn to her.
"It's fine, I forgive you" I say and she looks at me weirdly as we step up to the cashier and we pay for our things and he puts our snacks and drinks in a bag.
We start to walk out of the gas station when Rebekah starts talking again.
"You forgive me? That easily?" Rebekah asks and I look to her.
"Yeah" I say quickly. I didn't want to say it's because I heard what she said. Otherwise she would've knows that I was faking it and heard every word her and Klaus shared.
"Look Rebekah just don't worry about it okay? I forgive you, I promise" I say and smile and hug her as she hugs back and I let out a sigh.
"What's wrong?" Rebekah asks.
"Nothing, nothing" I say and smile and Rebekah then remembers something.
"Hold on, I'll be back, I haven't used the bathroom yet" Rebekah says and I nod and she goes back inside to the bathroom and I just wait next to the building since I didn't want to go in the car yet.
Just then I felt something come behind me and then I felt hands on me. At first I thought it was Rebekah because she sometimes does this to me but I then realized it wasn't her as I felt big and rough hands grab my chin and put my head to the side as he started kissing my neck and had my arms glued to my sides.
I let out a muffle for help hoping that someone would hear me but the man just took that as an invention and started kissing harder and sucking.
It feels like someone is feeding on me but he isn't. He just won't stop and he starts to go to hard and I start to close my eyes until I hear a whoosh inside of me and then I feel the man's lips pulled harshly away from my neck.
I then hear kicks and groans as I can't even open my eyes a fall to the ground but feel someone grab me before I do.
I open my eyes slightly and see a blonde in front of me. The blonde. The blonde I've been with on this entire trip.
"Avery! Avery are you alright? Are you okay?" Rebekah says and pushes my hair away from my face and neck to see marks left all over my neck.
They were bruises.
Rebekah then kicks the guy again on his side as he's already laying on the concrete floor and Rebekah kicks him again and again.
"Rebekah... he's.. not worth it" I say quietly as I feel like I'm about to pass out.
"It's okay love, I got you" Rebekah says as she picks me up bridal style and I nuzzle my head into the crook of her neck as she walks us to the car and puts me in the back seat gently and makes sure I'm comfy.
I rest my head on a pillow and Rebekah puts a blanket over me and closes the door and sits in the passenger seat as I hear her and Klaus start talking.
I just drifted off to sleep.
