"Bixby, is everything ok?" I ask Aarav
"Yes Chips, my parents along Uncle Enzo will lead your mom into the mansion without her suspecting a thing. They'll be there in 20 minutes" he informs me
"What about you?" I ask
"I'll be there in NOW" he says
I look up and see him walking through the entrance carrying a huge thin but wide thing, wrapped in gift paper
"What's that?"
"A gift for yo mama" he replies, trying to stiffle a laugh but fails miserably
I stand and wait for him to finish laughing
"That wasn't even that funny." I say
"I know but that why it IS funny." He says and finally catches his breath
"Anyways, I'm putting this with the other gifts. Where's the rest of people?" He asks
"They're in the kitchen. Come, let's go" I say and we both walk into the kitchen
"Good evening fuckers." Aarav says and greets everybody
"When are they gonna get here Rav?" Adeline asks
"In about 20 minutes Addy-" he replies and leans on the island.
"Why are you leaning on the island? You miss home" Alessandro says, starting a roast battle

"You scared me there." I say and chuckle
"Don't worry. This is the first time Lucien brought a girl home to meet his family, we won't be scary or whatever it is she was." His dad says and also gives me a hug

"That's a relief Mr. Romano. I thought that you guys wouldn't be ok with it."
"Granted when Lucien called us and told us about you. We were like 'Whaat' but then he spoke about you non-stop for two hours and we realized that it was genuine so we're happy."
"Plus ever since that first ball, I've had a feeling that this would happen" his mom replied
"Also you don't have to keep calling us Mr and Mrs Romano. You can call us Nicole or Lorenzo or something I don't know." Nicole adds
"I appreciate it but I can't. I prefer to say Mrs. Romano. It's more respectful" I say with a smile
"Cool, now let us not keep you back. Go and meet the rest of the family. Also, our home is like your home too now, feel free to drop by anytime." She says
"Thank you" I reply
"Oh, I'm inviting you for lunch tomorrow. Just you not Lucien." She says and narrows her eyes at her son playfully
"I have lots of pictures and stories to tell you about him." She says and snickers
"Ouu, I'll be here on time tomorrow. Thanks Mrs. Romano." I reply

It's honestly beautiful how they aren't related by blood yet the bond between them is stronger than some actual families. They didn't have any family except each other. Blood really doesn't make you family. It just makes you related. Family....true family is something else. Something greater than blood.

The first thing that comes into when I see Aarav's parents is 'Why the fuck is everyone is goddamn gorgeous?"
There's the dad
He also had brown skin like Aarav and both of his hands were littered with patchwork tattoos that disappeared under his sleeves. He had his hair slicked back and his face was clean shaven. Manz jawline could easily slice butter
He also had some muscles tones but he was more on the thin side
How despite this man's age....does he have such good skin? And is still fit
Then there's the mom
She was of a lighter skin tone than her man and son but not fair.
Gorgeous black hair and an oval shaped face.
I even see piece of a tattoo travelling onto her neck. The majority of it has to be on her back.
She's also wearing an armless top but with a soft pants instead of a jeans.

"If it isn't my favorite aunt and uncle. Hello guys" Lucien says and hugs them
"We're your only aunt and uncle Luc." Mr. Patel says and gives Lucien's shoulder a squeeze
"You'd still be my favorite even if I had a thousand aunts and uncles." Lucien replies
"He's buttering us up. What? Do you want more sweets? Did Aarav not bring any? This boy!" She say and glares playfully at Aarav who is lost in his own world flipping a balisong knife
"He bought a lot of sweets. I just missed you guys. Anyways I have someone I want you to meet." He says and pulls me closer.
"This is Celine, my girlfriend." He says
"It's a pleasure to meet you both Mr and Mrs. Patel." I say and put my hand out for a handshake
To my surprise again.....she hugs me
"It's nice to meet you too Dear. " She replies after pulling away.

"Huh, what? Yall talking about me" Aarav asks, finally zoning into the convo
"Why would we talk about you?" his dad fires, folding his arms with a smirk
"Cause I'm your favorite child" He fires back, folding his arms, also smirking
"Yes you are" his dad says and puts his hand on Aarav's shoulder
"That's cause I'm your only child" Aarav replies and also puts his hand on his dad's shoulder
"Daddy's boy." Aunt Aria says
"I love you too mom. I" Aarav says and also shakes his mom's shoulders
"Yes I know. Anyways tell me Celine, what do you think about the family?" She asks
"Honestly, it's weird and a bit scary at times. Like I walked into Alessandro making a bomb and playing with c4 in the living room. And then no offense but your son has one of the scariest reputations ever but then I met him and he is really a chill. But other than all that etc etc. I admire the bond that you all have. It's really strong and that's very heartwarming." I finish
"None taken. Also that was sweet. I like her even more than I did before." She replies
"Not that kind of like right." Uncle Zayne asks
"No darling. You're the only person I have eyes for." She replies looking up at him
"Good, that's good." He replies
"Well this was a very heartwarming.....thing but I shall go put on some music. Let's vibes up this place." Aarav says and walks away, going towards the music set up area
"We'll go make sure he doesn't play anything.....not good" Lucien says and then we bid our goodbyes
"Two things, what'd he mean when uncle Zayne said not that kind of like. And two what do you mean not good" I ask
"Not good as in Aarav has no shame and will play songs that aren't....for the occasion. For my dad's 57th birthday. He put on Move Mountains by Alkaline.

"No. The lady cheated on her so aunt Aria went to get wasted in a club but she went in the back at the wrong time and saw uncle Zayne killing someone so he kidnapped her and then she developed Stockholm syndrome or something and here we are " Lucien says
"I see" I say
"So wholesome." I add
"I want some of your holes. It's been too long" Lucien whispers
"We had a quickie upstairs an hour ago." I reply
