After the tiny reunion of you and the burgundy haired boy, you both released yourselves from each other's arms which you already missed dearly.

Without warning, another pair of arms wrapped around your waist. You looked down to see the little black haired girl. She placed her chin upon your stomach as she looked up at you with teary, metallic grey eyes.

"I thought you were dead!" She cried as she buried her face into your tummy. You pat her head and held her close. She didn't care if you were soaked in water and she was getting all wet from you. All she cared about was that you were alive. And you were holding her right now.

You broke away from the hug and went to grip the handle of your sword. And on cue, you and the others heard rustling and noticed four figures launch from the trees and land in the ground in front you and the others. You all drew your swords and pointed them facing the shadowy figures. You and Tanjiro held an arm out in a protective manner in front of Yui. She was vulnerable right now and you and the boys were her only protection.

"I see you survived."

The demon walked forward and it was the same one that pulled you in the lake. Out of no where, two other figures walked forward and you recognized them instantly.

They were the same guys that were with the man who harassed you back in your home town. As he called them his "buddies". However, you could tell they weren't upper moons, they didn't have any markings on their eyes. The one to the left of the upper moon demon was one that had slightly grayish looking skin. The eyes were an orange color. The hair was black with yellow tips.

The one to the right of the upper moon was a bulkier one than the one on the left. His eyes were a bright royal blue color and had a blue streak in his hair that was tied back into a small messy low man-bun. Their faces etched with large smirks.

"I don't think I ever introduced myself, Y/N." He started, "I'm Hirokai. This here is Akio," he motioned to the one on his left. "And the other one here is Takayuki." he continued, "You don't really have a choice here. I've found you after searching forever for you." Hirokai explained. You raised a brow, but kept your guard up fully.

"After you left, it destroyed me. You were the only one for me. The one I am meant to be with. I've known you all my life. Known everything about you."

Your eyes widening at his statement. He's known me? All my life? What the hell does he mean?

"What are you talking about?" You questioned, gripping your sword tighter. This caused Hirokai to chuckle in laughter.

"Have you never noticed me? I've watched you all your life. Since you were at least eleven. I'd watch you walk back to wherever you lived back in Shintoshina. Everything about you was so, mesmerizing to me. I wanted you to be mine. And mine only."

What the actual heck? Has this guy been stalking me? Why?

"You have no idea how badly I've wanted you, Y/N." He said while slightly moaning your name out. Just hearing the way he said it like that made shivers crawl up your back.

Tanjiro looked at the demon in rage. The way he said your name. And the way he said he had been stalking you for years. It was disgusting! How could a man be as sickening as this? Then again, he was a demon.

"What the hell man?!" Inosuke shouted out. "I don't know about love and all that shit. But you just sound like some lovesick bastard that's needs his head pulled out his ass."

Hirokai growled slightly under his breath.

"And who might you be?" He questioned.

"Inosuke Hashibira! King of the Mountain!" He chuckled.

"You really do sound like a pompous ass. Why don't I just get rid of you now?"

"No! Don't hurt anyone else!"

Hirokai stopped as he looked behind you and Tanjiro and saw the girl slowly walk forward. Hands clenching onto the fabric of the skirt.

"Please. You already killed everyone in the orphanage. Why do you have to kill more people?" Yui asked.

"Simple. Because they get in my way and I like to have a nice snack while I'm at it."

"You... You really are a demon!" Yui yelled in anger with tears brimmed in her eyes.

Hirokai then used his blood demon art to launch an attack onto Yui. She held a pair of arms over her head.

"YUI NO!"

She waited. Maybe this was it. Maybe this is where she would die. She didn't even get to live her life yet. She had so much more time to live and do what she wanted. She just wanted to be able to have a family that was like her own. A loving mother and a caring father. To hold her close. Sing to her. Care about her. She wanted that. But maybe she just wasn't meant for it.

But the blow never came.

However, the sound of something or someone getting slashed echoed throughout her ear drums. Yui hesitantly lowered her arms. What she saw shocked her.

There in front was a strange person she had never seen before. She couldn't see much but what she could see was the fact that it was indeed a female and that the female had long black hair with slightly lightened tips of brown at the end.

"Nezuko!"

Yui knew that voice. It sounded like Tanjiro. She looked up and saw the female hold a protective arm in front of her body. The person who had risked their life for her turned their head to face her.

Yui noticed that this person wasn't human, the way her eyes looked. They were a light pink color and she had a bamboo muzzle in her mouth(?) But the way that the strange woman, who she assumed was Nezuko, looked at her with those eyes. And they seemed so kind. Was this the demon that you and Tanjiro were talking about before?

"A demon working with humans?" Akio asked in shock. He watched Nezuko stand infront of Yui in a protective stance.

"How strange," Hirokai stated. "A demon working with humans. I've never seen or heard about that happening in all the years of being a demon myself. How does that work, boy."

"That is none of your business!" Tanjiro yelled holding his sword in his grasp tighter.

"Whatever, be that way. A boy like you shouldn't be messing with another's prey." Hirokai said while licking his bottom lip and staring you up and down.

This guy is really fucked up.

"Now, why don't we have a little more fun shall we? Akio! Takayuki!" He called out. The other two men looked at the upper moon and nodded their heads. Hirokai then lifted up his fingers and snapped them.

Everyone disappeared. All that was left was you and Tanjiro standing next to each other. You both looked around in horror.

"Zenitsu! Inosuke! Yui?! Nezuko?!" You both called out their names. But none were heard in return.

"What did you do with them?!" You sneered at the demon. This caused him to chuckle humorously.

"Don't worry, they'll be fine." He cackled.

"Now, like I said... let's have some fun!"

Hirokai then launched forward and went in for an attack. Raising his arm and forming it into some sort of spear.

"Total Concentration; Galactic Breathing; Second Form; Tail Comet!"

Hirokai noticed you had disappeared and raised a brow. He then felt a presence behind him as he quickly dodged seeing you coming down with the attack. When he was a safe distance away, he skidded in the dirt slightly and looked to see you still standing and ready to go again. You and Tanjiro charged at him.

Hirokai smirked "How naive." he then lifted his hand and made a tight fist. Out of no where, a pair of vines grabbed the both of you and flung you into the nearby trees. You shrieked in agony. Pain enveloping your body.

This hurts! This is reminding me of the time when those demons showed up with Tamayo and Yushiro! Tanjiro thought to himself.

Another set of vines came their way, looked to be at least ten or twenty of them headed bob your ways. You and Tanjiro looked at each other for a split second.

"Water/ Galactic Breathing; Third Form; Flowing Dance!" Both of your Breathing forms coming together to form one special attack to go after the vines heading your way. With the waves of your swords the vines were split clean in two. Falling to the ground one by one.

You both landed back on the ground quickly and stood again.

"You're really starting to piss me off." Hirokai hissed. He was in between two cherry blossom trees. He looked at the both of them.

"No matter, let's see how well you do now!" He laughed evilly as he then waved his hands around in a weird motion. Soon, the ground began to shake. You both wobbled around as the earth was shaking.

"What is going on?!" You asked to no one in particular. You could hear the intensive vibrations as you swayed around trying to keep your balance.

"I've got a bad feeling about this!" Tanjiro exclaimed.

You both then looked up and what you saw sent pure terror and fright deep into your soul making your bones and whole body feel weak. Your eyes as wide the size of golf balls.

There, where Hirokai was, the trees started moving. Not joking.

The

Trees

Were

Freaking

Moving

Their roots emerged from the deep earth and slammed onto the ground with loud pound that echoed through the entire forest and lake. It wasn't just one. There were two.

Deep and low growls echoed through their eardrums making the hairs on their back stand up straight. Heavy breathing slowly increased by the second.

Pairs of red eyes staring back at them where the trees were.

"Let's see how you do now, demon slayers."
