First Monster High oneshot!
Please bear with me. Even though I haven't watched any Monster High related content in like three or four years, I still wanted to write this.
By the way, Neferra's name will be Neffero. Cleo will still be a girl.

Neffero's POV:
"Cleo, did you take my nail polish agai-"
I stopped talking, stopping halfway between the hallway and her bedroom, my eyes locking onto the figure opposite my sister.
It was a girl. Which wasn't weird as I've seen Cleo's other friends before, but never this girl.
What caught my eye was her skin. It was the softest shade of pink and luminescent and long pointed ears like an elfs peering through her h/c hair.
"No! Now go away and stop looking at my friend!" She screeched, throwing her arm back with a heel in.
The girl leapt onto her knees, grabbing Cleo's forearm.
"Cleo!" She scolded.
Her voice was airy; like she was in a constant daydream.
She turned to her,"What?"
"Don't hurt him!"
"But he's annoying."
"Still!"
Cleo sighed dramatically, dropping the heel on the floor before she picked up her magazine.
The girl looked between me and Cleo, expecting something, but sighed in disapointment as she stood up.
"I guess I'll have to introduce myself," she murmured.
She walked over to me and stretched her luminescent hand out, smiling gently
"I'm Y/n L/n. I'm a transfer and Cleo 'took me under her wing'." She explained, laughing.
I found myself returning a chuckle. Her laughter was contagious.
I shook her hand,"Neferro De Nile. Cleo's big brother."
"Pleasure to meet you,"
"Likewise,"
I stared into e/c glassy eyes, smiling.
I stiffened as I felt a chill go down my spine.
Slowly, I rose my head and saw Cleo, glaring at me with her maroon lips in a snarl of sorts.
For some reason, I gulped. Cleo could be intimidating at times, even though I wouldn't admit it, and this was apparently one of those times.
(Two Hours Later)
Neffero's POV:
I stood beside Cleo, waving bye to Y/n as her mother picked her up.
Once she was gone, I let out a soft sigh, smiling unconsciously.
Someone cleared their throat.
I looked down, over my shoulder, at Cleo, who had her bandaged arms crossed over her chest, gaze stern and lips pulled in a tight frown.
I quirked an eyebrow,"What's your damage?"
"Leave Y/n alone." She growled out.
I quirked an eyebrow,"Excuse me?"
She rolled her blue eyes, turning on her heel as we walked back inside.
"Oh please, I saw the way you were looking at her. It's the same look you get when you find a pair of platform strapped wedges in your size."
I froze, narrowing my eyes at the back of her head.
"You even stayed in my room and you sat so close to her." She added.
"Why didn't you chase me out?" I questioned teasingly.
"Because she would've gotten upset."
"Since when do you care about what other people think about you?" I snarkily questioned.
She winced, her shoulders sagging as she froze in her tracks.
Silence surrounded us, thick and tense.
"Neffero," she cast me a look over her shoulder,"Y/n is one of the few people I genuinely love and care about. I don't want you to do something to make her uncomfortable or scare her and make her leave."
"I would ne-"
"You have that kind of reputation with girls. You can't seem to read their signals and see when they aren't into you."
I felt my lip twitch,"They still dated me, didn't they?"
"Because you bring them down!" She looked at me, her eyes flaming with anger,"You manipulate them and make them believe that nobody else would ever date them or show interest in them and that you're the best they'll ever get!"
Before I could protest, Cleo had spun back around and ascended up the stairs to get room. Her door slamming shut echoed through the almost empty hall.
I clicked my tongue, tossing my mop of teal blue and gold hair over my shoulder before I too left to my room.
I was not manipulative. Cleo didn't know what she was talking about.
And yet, I felt a twinge of guilt tug at my heart.
(The Next Day)
Y/n's POV:
I walked between Frankie and Draculaura, clutching my books to my chest.
"Neffero? I don't know much about him." Frankie mumbled.
Draculaura nodded,"I've been to Cleo's house a number of times but I only recall seeing him once or twice. He's always out or in his room."
"Really?" I questioned, my ears twitching.
They nodded.
"I've noticed that he and Cleo don't have the best relationship with each other." I spoke up.
"All siblings are like that." Clawdeen butt in, throwing an arm over my shoulder.
I shook my head,"No, I mean, it's so tense and weird with the two of them in one room."
They all stopped, turning to me.
I shrunk under their wide eyes, my own darting from side to side,"W--what?"
"Neferro and Cleo were in one room?" Clawdeen questioned, jaw slack.
I nodded,"Yeah. He sat with me while me and Cleo talked and did homework. We exchanged a few words but I was busy, so couldn't actually engage, Cleo was also glaring at him and trying to throw him with shoes."
"She didn't throw him out?" Frankie questioned.
I shook my head,"No."
"And he sat there, with you two, for the entire two hours?" Draculaura questioned.
I hummed.
"Wow. That's.. something.." Frankie mumbled.
"Is it?"
"Neferro isn't really as nice as Cleo." Clawdeen dragged out.
I quirked an eyebrow,"He was nice yesterday."
Draculaura brought a hand to her chin, her violet eyes narrowing,"Interesting.."
I shrugged my shoulder, slinging my bag over it,"Meh. You ghouls said it's nothing. So I'll stop questioning it."
I waved by to the group, before I jogged out of the school and down the steps, knocking into something.
I stumbled back, my books dropping as my hands darted to cradle my throbbing forehead, hissing under my breathe.
"Watch where you- oh! Y/n?"
I opened my right eye, peering at the 'something' that was Neffero.
"Are you okay?" He questioned softly, his eyes darting between my forehead and my eyes.
Before I could respond, he grabbed my wrists, pulling it from my forehead and lurched my forward.
His one hand held my wrists while the other pushed my h/c, dark pink and f/c bangs back, his blue eyes scanning my reddening forehead.
I gulped, staring up at Neffero.
His teal blue and gold hair was tied up in a high ponytail, trailing down his back and over his shoulders. He had sand colored bandages wrapped around his forearms, a thick gold bangle on his right bicep and a thinner gold one on the left along with scarab earrings in a metallic blue-green and a gold choker and three necklaces.
There was also bandages on his legs, stopping just above his calves, gold wedged sandals with blue jewels and a teal blue and black sleeveless polar neck.
His skin was the most beautiful shade of bronze I'd ever seen (like Cleo's) and his lips were soft and plump, his eyes were teal, like his hair and his eyeliner was traditional with gold eyeshadow.
Seeing him up close like this, he was awfully beautiful.
"Tsk, it's just red," his eyes locked on mine,"Good."
I fidgeted, feeling my face heat up before I pulled myself from him and stood three feet away, picking my books up.
"U--uh, Neffero, what're you doing here? Aren't you finished with highschool?" I questioned, standing up with my books to my chest.
He leaned against the cold carriage behind him,"Hm, I am. I came to pick up Cleo. Dad was busy."
"Eh? Cleo? She left." I responded.
He snapped his head in my direction, eyebrows furrowed,"What?"
I nodded,"With Deuce. They went to the mall."
"Deuce?" He spat out, his gaze hardening.
I gulped, taking another step back,"Y-yeah. Her boyfriend."
He groaned between clenching teeth, throwing his head back as he buried his face in his hands, screaming muffled profanities.
"Uh, I'm sorry you came all this way for nothing." I whispered, shifting uncomfortably on my platformed Mary Janes.
I felt eyes on the top of my head and I looked up, seeing Neffero smirk at me, eyes glinting.
"Not for nothing it seems." He sang.
He threw an arm around my neck,"Come on, Y/n! We'll go out!"
"O--out?!!" I sputtered, face flushing as I was placed in the carriage beside Neffero.
Narrator's POV:
Clawdeen, Draculaura and Frankie gaped, watching the cold carriage leave the school grounds.
"What just happened?" Clawdeen whispered.
"Did we just witness a kidnapping?" Frankie murmured.
Draculaura beamed, clapping her hands excitedly,"They're going on a date!! How nice!!"
(In The Carriage)
Y/n's POV:
I fidgeted with my hands in my lap, Neffero was busy with something on his I-Coffin.
"So, Y/n," he called out.
I looked at him,"Yes?"
His eyes flickered up from his phone, his head resting against his hand,"Where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm actually from Greece." I answered.
"Why'd you transfer to Monster High?" He questioned.
I shrugged,"I honestly came here because of Deuce. I hadn't seen him since we were kids."
He quirked an eyebrow, something flashing in his eyes,"Deuce?"
"Yes. We're second cousins."
His eyes widened,"Really?"
I nodded,"Yeah."
His eyes flickered over my arms, legs and face, like he was searching for something, until they stopped on my eyes.
"But, you don't have scales."
I tilted my head, confusion contorting my face before I made a sound of realization.
"Ah, you think I'm a gorgon?" I questioned with a giggle.
He quirked an eyebrow,"Aren't you?"
I shook my head, tucking a stray strand of my hair behind my pointed ear.
"I'm a nymph."
"Oh. That makes sense." He whispered.
I nodded,"Cleo wanted to get to know me, since Deuce holds me so highly. He asked her to befriend me and look after me when he couldn't."
"That's awfully nice of her." He said simply.
"Yeah.."
(The Mall)
Neffero's POV:
I grabbed Y/n's hand, pulling her into the mall,"Come on."
"What are we doing here?" She stuttered out, looking around.
"We're going to have fun and shop." I cheered.
"Uh-"
"It'll be fun!" I looked down at her,"Trust me."
She bit her dark pink tinted lips,"O-okay.."
I smiled, dragging her into a clothing store that had a sale going on.
It's been a few minutes, and one of the Anubis guards had an armful of clothes and shoes that I was going to buy. I looked at Y/n through a mirror, seeing her sitting on a sofa, looking up and down.
"You can go pay and put those in the carriage." I ordered.
He nodded and walked to the register on the other side of the store.
I looked at myself in the mirror, running a hand through my teal and gold locks before I sashayed over to the pink skinned nymph.
"Aren't you going to get anything?" I questioned.
She looked up at me, her e/c glassy eyes locking with mine,"Not really. I don't need anything."
I rolled my eyes,"I didn't ask if you needed anything, dear."
Her cheeks tinted pink, her eyes widening.
I nodded my head,"Come on. Pick anything you like, doll. I'll pay."
"But-"
I beant over the couch, my hands resting behind it and caging her.
"Anything."
She gulped, nodding slowly,"O-okay."
I smiled sweetly, standing up,"Great! Come on," I grabbed her arm and pulled her up,"I found these adorable mini skirts and blouses that you'll look absolutely ravishing in!"
I lead her into an isle, grabbing some skirts, skorts and blouses.
"What size do you wear?" I called over my shoulder.
"(Size), sometimes (bigger/smaller size) depending on the store," she whispered, watching as I piled clothes over my shoulders.
(After Neffero bought the entire store)
Narrator's POV:
Neffero and Y/n sat opposite one another in a cafe, a blue smoothie infront of Neffero and a (favorite drink) infront of Y/n.
Y/n sipped anxiously on her drink, fingers tapping against the (cup/mug/glass/mason jar), avoiding eye contact with Neferro, who was practically staring holes into the shorter female.
"Why aren't you looking at me?" He questioned, tone calm.
Her ears twitched, Neferro hiding a smile behind his cup; he found it adorable.
She looked at him, smiling apologetically,"Sorry, you're a bit intimidating,"
He quirked an eyebrow,"Really?"
She nodded,"Yeah," her face erupted in a blush,"Not in a rude way! It's just, you're kind of bold and you hold yourself highly so it makes you intimidating in a way!"
He smiled,"I understand in a way,"
She sighed, turning to look out at the window, watching different monsters walk by, either alone, with their significant other or with their friends.
"Neffero," she called out, gaze locked to the window.
He sipped on his smoothie,"Yeah?"
"Why'd you drag me here?" She questioned.
He quirked an eyebrow,"Sorry?"
She turned to him, holding her (favorite drink),"I mean, why'd you do all of this? Take me shopping? Buying me more things than I can fit in my wardrobe?"
He shrugged,"I don't know, I guess it felt like a nice thing to do," he twirled his straw,"Truth be told, I think I like buying things for you, spoiling you,"
"Well I don't," she whispered.
"I never asked if you did," he started, still moving his straw,"And Cleo said something a while back and it got me thinking, so, yeah."
She nodded, sipping on her (favorite drink) as she stared at Neffero.
'How can he be selfish and conceited? Cleo comes off like that too but she's nothing like that, maybe it's just a demeanor, a facade,' I thought, eyeing Neffero carefully.
He took a sip from his smoothie before he showed a toothy smile,"Besides, I wanted to give you some outfit options for our date,"
Y/n choked on her (favorite drink), hitting her chest before she gulped, staring at Neffero with wide e/c eyes and dark pink tinted cheeks.
"D--date?!!" She shrieked.
Neffero simply hummed, smiling a close-eyed smile as he rested his chin in the palm of his hand.
"What do you say," he opened his eyes, hooded teal blue locking with e/c across the table.

This was honestly a drabble of sorts and I'm gonna be honest, male Neffera has my heart and soul, really he does.
But, how was this for my first Monster High oneshot, taking into consideration that I haven't watched any Monster High movies in a while?
