Both trin and I quietly sat on the chair eating cereal while watching tv. After being quiet for so long, she eventually looked over at me
"This baby is kicking my ass"
"I'm so glad I remembered to take that plan b this morning"
Trin dropped her mouth open a little "oh don't do that. Babies are blessings"
"They are. I don't lie.. but they're blessings that I'd rather pass on to the next person. which is you"
"Okay step momma"
"How many kids Darius got again?" I asked, giving her a sarcastic look
"Oh fuck you. Them ain my step kids though"
"Trin bye. You know you and Darius together"
"We not. He keep saying he wanna be with me though" she told me as she looked down at her cereal with a smile
"And what's stopping you?"
"I don't know. I'm just not ready to be in one right now. I feel like we can work on something like that later but for now, I'm still tryina mentally accept the fact that I'm bout to have a baby. And other than you and Darius I don't have no family so I'm gonna be mostly doing this alone"
"No you are not so don't say that or even think like that."
"I'm just saying"
"And I'm just sayin"
Trin pushed her cereal around in the bowl before looking at me again
"You said you took a plan b this morning? Dre was here?"
"Yeah. He came at like 2 in the morning"
"He must've been horny as hell to come at 2 in the morning"
"Welll.. what happened was.... He was out with Darius and some of their people or whatever and I was a little horny.. plus I was drinking the rest of that bottle in the cabinet so I was feeling a little bold and I called him. Trin I don't even remember half the stuff I said but I'll tell you I do remember"
"One arm on neck one arm on frontal"
"You damn right" I agreed and we both started laughing
"At least somebody gettin some. Make sure you have enough sex for the both of us"
"Whattt? I'm surprised you ain somewhere getting dick by Darius"
"That's all I be wanting but this nigga be wanting to just lay up and shit. Like BYE"
"Awe he tryina love on you trin"
"No. He should've did all of that before he got me pregnant"
I laughed as she looked at her phone while somebody knocked on the door so I got up to go answer it. I opened the door and Dre walked right in
"I'm surprised you up so early"
"I had to go find emoni and change her tire"
"Awe. Big brother duties called"
Dre let out a yawn
"Go lay down" I told him as I wiped his face. He walked off, going to the kitchen instead of the room so I went and sat back down
"You know what, I'm convinced Dre ain human"
"Why you say that?" I laughed
"Does he ever sleep?"
"Whenever he's with me he sleeps"
"Lemme find out he can't sleep without you"
"I'm pretty sure he can't" I smiled
After a while he walked out of the kitchen and into the living room with a cup in his hand. Deandre sat down beside me and I rubbed his face
"You can't sleep without me?"
"What?"
"Trin said you can't sleep without me"
Dre looked over at me before drinking from his cup
"Dre where you get your eyes from?" Trin randomly asked
"From my daddy"
"Why Gigi ain got em?"
"Ion know. I would've thought she would've had em"
"Give us a couple of years, one of our future kids probably gone have em" I told trin while I continued to touch on his face
"Speaking of kids, Lemme go call my baby daddy" trin muttered while she got up and walked off to the room. I looked at her belly in her tight fitted tank top as she walked off
"You see our Godchild tryina show?"
"That baby gone have a big ass head. Just like all of Darius other kids..you seen his new baby?"
I shook my head. Dre pulled out his phone and went to a group chat. He scrolled up some and clicked on a picture before showing me. It was a mixed little toddler holding a newborn baby while smiling for the camera
"Awe, that's Darius' baby?"
"Yeah"
"Who's the little girl holding him?"
Dre chuckled "That ain no girl. That's Darius son, king"
I made an apologetic face "my bad. With all that hair like that, I thought he was a little girl"
"Everybody think his ass a girl"
"Are they gonna cut his hair?"
"Ion think they want to"
I looked at the picture again "he's cute"
I handed Dre back his phone and he slouched some more in the chair.
"You riding wimme today?" He asked
"Of course. But I think you should go to sleep before you go anywhere, you look tired as hell"
"I am"
I laid Dre's head on me and grabbed his cup from him
"Go ahead to sleep"
Right after I said that, somebody started calling his phone. He was about to grab it but I grabbed it first
"Yo jealous ass customers can wait. And if they ask your girlfriend took ya phone"
He laughed and I looked at his phone seeing somebody named Melissa calling him
"Who is Melissa?"
He sat his head up looking at the phone confused "that Gigi grandma.. what she callin me for?"
I handed him the phone and he answered it, putting it on speaker
"Deandre" she wasted no time speaking
"Wassup?"
"Are you able to come and get Gianna right now"
"Where she at?"
"At my house.. That daughter of mine went and got her ass arrested following behind that dumbass boy and they brought Gianna to me. And I love my granddaughter but I did my time raising my kids. This is not my child or kierra's so whatever issue she has with you, she needs to get over it because this is YALL child. And I can't watch her everytime Aysia feel the need to live life as if she don't have a child"
Dre rubbed his face while getting up
"I'm coming"
"Alright"
He hung up the phone while shaking his head
"Hold on" I got up and went to my room putting on my shoes then came back into the living room, grabbing my phone "come on"
I went to tell trin I was leaving with Dre then followed him out of the apartment.

After Dre picked up Gianna we went back to his house and while he went to sleep, I kept Gianna occupied with cocomelon until she ended up going to sleep so since they were both sleep, I started cleaning up a little.
A knock on the door caught my attention so before I went to the door, I looked out the window and saw it was emoni so I answered it
"It's about time I see you again. I miss you Ana" she smiled before hugging me
"I know"
Emoni then went over to the chair and sat down, making herself comfortable while grabbing the remote
"Where my brother ugly ass at?"
"He in the room sleep. Him and Gigi"
"Gigi here?" She asked, confused and I nodded "why? I though he just had her this weekend"
I just simply shrugged because what happened was not my business to tell and I don't know the whole story
"Ain no tellin what Aysia delusional ass got going on" emoni muttered "well what you been up to? Since ion see you like that nomore"
"Girl I be at work and when I'm not I be at home or here. You don't be coming over here like that nomore"
"I been working too. Ima start coming by in my free time. When im not with my man"
"The same one you was with before"
"Yeah. And Darius and Dre keep saying they wanna meet him but hell no"
"Why not? You met me. And you met all of the females Darius been involved with"
"Any female Darius introduced to us was already pregnant by him. And with Dre, he only introduced us to you cause he all in love and shit. I ain pregnant or in love so I'm good. And I know how Darius and Dre get"
"Smart girl"
"Of course" she laughed while looking past me and smiled "hey favorite brother"
I turned my head in the direction she was looking and saw Dre walking into the living room with Gianna
"Hey niecey poo"
Gigi smiled with her finger in her mouth and Dre walked over to the chair, handing her to Emoni.
"You been sleeping good" I smiled as he sat on the other side of me. Dre laid his head on me and I kissed his forehead
"So when y'all gone give me a nephew?" Emoni asked "I think Gigi ready for a brother now"
"Gigi ain ready for shit" Dre muttered causing me to laugh
"Catch us in a couple of years then you can ask again"
"Y'all make me sick" I muttered as my phone started to ring. Without looking, I answered the phone
"Hello?"
"Is this... Analise?"
"Yes it is.."
"Hi, my name is Dr Bailey. I'm calling you because your sister put you down as an emergency contact-"
"What sister?"
"Aubrielle-"
"I'm sorry but-"
"Ma'am, I'm sorry but we really need someone here to make some important medical decisions regarding her and her baby's life and you were who she has down"
I sat up a little "what happened?"
She got quiet for a minute
"I think it's just better if you come now so we can explain everything at once"
"Fine... I'm coming" I answered before hanging up the phone and hopped up
"What happened?"
"I don't know" I answered Dre "I need to get home to my car so I can go to the hospital"
"Dre just go with her... I'll watch my niece" emoni assured him and he nodded before getting up, going to the room and eventually came back out with his keys and I followed him out the door
