You always knew how to make me feel warm inside.
Whether it be through your calming words, your genuine actions, or the fact that you always put me first.
I just wished that you had prioritised yourself a little more.
I was always the one picking up your broken pieces, and trying to stick them back together, without any real reason as to why you were falling apart, in the first place.
That was pretty hard for a seven-year-old boy to do. But I didn't mind, because I knew you had it worse.
You were always starving yourself during school hours, because you knew you wouldn't have enough money to buy anything from the cafeteria.
And, even when you did have enough money to get something, you never even ate it; saying that you were saving it for when you got home─probably to share it with your siblings.
You were such a kind and caring person.
And, you still are, without a doubt.
But you really should take care of yourself more, love.
Save a bit of that warmth for you.

not gonna lie, i completely forgot to update today...
i've been doing my art homework all day, and as soon as i was about to step in the shower, i thought:
"shit. my book."
so here we are :)
