Hawks POV:
I was so tired from work. Finally I got the chance to go out and fight again. A small time villain decided to rob a convenience store and I was out on duty to detain him. He definitely wasn't hard to take down, the hard part was his quirk. He drained all my energy for the next 24hrs which is great.
I stepped out of the elevator and walked towards my penthouse door. My key turned and I stepped inside.
"Angel! I'm home"
I yelled.
I walked into the lounge room to see (y/n) asleep with Sukai asleep on her chest.
I couldn't help but smile. She laid peacefully with her arms supporting him so he didn't fall as he laid on her.
God she looked beautiful. Even when she was asleep, when she wasn't trying, she was stunning.
She's probably as drained as me from having to look after him all day.
I mean, she offered to care for her friends baby whenever he needed it. A newborn baby. She's basically been looking after him for a month straight.
Apparently sukai's mother was out of the country for work and she left dabi to care for his son. Apparently considering he didn't get to meet sukai until he was a few months old.
Every two days, dabi has to go do some secret work stuff to get money now he's a retired villain, meaning (y/n)'a been looking after sukai basically everyday for a month.
I sat in front of her and the baby on the coffee table and reached out for sukai so he could sleep in the cot dabi bought.
As soon as I pulled him off her he broke out it tears and screams. Shit.
She opened her eyes and saw me ahead of her before smiling softly and sitting up.
"Hey kei. How was work?"
She asked as she sat sukai up and tried to calm him.
"Really tiring, this guy used his quirk on me which drained all my energy."
"Least you got some action though right?"
She asked as she began bouncing sukai to stop his crys.
"Yeah, thats the good part. I'm sorry for waking you, it just looked uncomfortable with him on top of you"
I apologised.
"No no it's alright, it's almost 8 anyway I should make him a bottle."
She said as we both stood up.
She handed me sukai as I held him awkwardly. Even after a month of being introduced to the kid, I haven't held him yet.
She chuckled at my attempt and
re-adjusted my hands so one was supporting his weight and the other on his back.
"There you go"
She said with a smile as she stood of her tip toes and kissed my cheek.
She walked off to the kitchen and began preparing a bottle for him while sukai finally stopped crying in my arms.
(Y/n) makes it seem so easy. Looking after a kid. She's a natural. With me, I haven't had many interactions with kids before so it's a lot harder.
I walked into the kitchen with (y/n) and watched as she measured out the bottle.
"You know your really good at looking after him"
I spoke up.
She smiled at me.
"Yeah, woman's instincts I guess"
She commented.
"It's definitely more than that. Have you spoken to dabi yet?"
"Mhm, he's coming by at 9:00 to pick him up. He also mentioned some really big news I wanted to wait until you got home to talk about."
"What is it?"
I asked curiously.
"Well he said that he's moving in with sukais mother. They'll be in a small town outside Tokyo so he can still come visit"
"Wow, when's he moving?"
"Few days apparently. It's moving pretty fast."
"Yeah but at least he's being responsible. It's what's best for the baby."
(Y/n) and I kept discussing dabi until
Sukais bottle was done and we went and sat back at the couch.
And hour had past and I now sat on the floor with sukai playing with him. He had block toys and I watched as he stacked them up.
(Y/n) sat on the couch laughing and watching me.
"You having fun"
She chuckled.
"Yeah, this definitely isn't as scary as I thought it'd be"
"Scary? Kei, hes an infant."
"Don't make fun of me"
The door clicked shut as touya came inside and around the corner.
He greeted us and walked over and picked sukai of the ground.
"Hey buddy, you have fun?"
He said as sukai reached out with his chubby little hands.
"Thankyou so much for taking care of him (y/n)"
"It was no worries. I'm definitely going to miss him"
"What about me?"
He asked offended.
Jeez, the pyromaniac I was friends with a few months ago had turned soft and become a father. I still couldn't get over it.
"Of course you too jerky."
"Bitch."
Well maybe not completely soft.
Dabi let out a yawn as sukai began falling back to sleep in his arms.
"We better get going. I'll swing by tomorrow and we can have goodbye drinks alright?"
He asked.
"You'll be in the next town over. Well still see you ever week touya"
"Shut it birdbrain."
Touya said his goodbyes and (y/n) and I watched as he and sukai walkedout the doors. (Y/n) flipped out watching sukai wave his chubby little hand back in return which was probably just an accident not a form of saying goodbye.
Once we heard the doors close (y/n) turned and looked at me from the couch.
"I want one kei"
She said.
I paused before smiling at her.
"Me too angel"
"We could steal his."
She joked.
I stood up and walked over to her and leant down so my face was level with hers.
"I'd much prefer if we made our own baby, angel"
I said as I kissed her.
"Well that can be arranged."
She said as she smiled back and pulled my lips back to hers.
