"excited?" phil asks me as we walk through corridors hand in hand
"and a bit scared, if it's to do with you and mase, anything could happen." i say
"i promise, you'll like it." he says
we get to the double doors that open up into the hall. phil knocks on the door before standing behind me and covering my eyes with his hands.
"really?" i ask
"really." he replies
i hear the door open.
"hey guys." mason says, "come in."
i take a step forward dragging phil along with me, his hands still covering my eyes.
"ready?" i hear phil ask
"yes." i reply grabbing his hands and pull them off my eyes
infront of me i see balloons everywhere, tables against the wall full of buffet food and lots of different alcohol but a jug of water for me. the music starts blasting out and the lights go off and the LED's turn on.
i turn around and look at phil.
"for me?" i ask
"of course it's for you, who else." he says walking closer and putting his arms round me
i rest my head on his chest, i look up and see him looking round the room.
"what are you looking for?" i ask pulling away from the hug
"let's go get you some water, i did ask mason to get something else." phil says looking at me
"it's fine, water's good." i say
he puts his hand on my waist and we walk over to the drinks table, i hold out my cup and phil fills it up with water. i take a sip as he gets himself some beer.
the boys start to arrive as phil goes over to mason. jack pulls my arm over to the corner.
"could of just asked me to come over instead of dragging me." i say
"guess what." he says grabbing both of my shoulder
"someone's happy." i say, "what?"
"got with abby." jack says
"maya's sister abby?" i say
"yeah." he replies
"the girl who rejected you about ten times?" i ask
"hey i paid you a tenner to never mention that again." he says
"5 years ago." i say
"just be happy for me." jack says
"you're right, congrats." i say
"thanks." he says
"so imma go." i say looking over and seeing phil waiting
"obsessed, what are you gonna do when league starts." jack says
"i don't think you can call me obsessed jack...you're still not over the girl who called you a poopy head when you were 12." i say walking off
"hey beautiful." phil says as i put my arms round his neck, "what was that about?"
"he's got with a girl." i explain
"who's the lucky lady?" he asks
"this girl he's had a crush on since he knew what a crush was." i say
"you're my crush." phil says tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear
"oh really." i say putting my hand on his cheek, "well you know what." i whisper in his ear
"later, i'm all yours." i say walking past him over to jadon and ben
"hey guys." i say
"hey y/n." ben says
"what are you guys doing?" i ask
"we were betting." jadon tells me
"on what?" i ask
"how long it would take for phil to leave." ben says
"why would phil leave?" i ask
"with you obviously." ben says
"so you're betting on how long he can resist me?" i ask
"sorry-." jadon says before i interrupt him
"count me in, what have we got so far?" i ask
"i've got 15 minutes and £50 running." jadon says
"15 minutes?" i ask
"it's phil." ben says
"i guess." i reply, "so i'll go 30 minutes."
"okay, i'm with 28. the losers pay out the winner." ben says
"deal."i say holding out both of my hands and shaking them both
"what's going on here?" phil asks seeing me shaking their hands
"hand me over my money." jadon says
"what?" phil asks
"it's nothing." i say
"doesn't look like nothing, what was that deal?" he asks me
"it was a bet." ben says as i give him a death stare
"what about?" phil asks
"how long it would take for you to want to take y/n back to the bedroom." jadon says
"what the hell." phil says looking at me, "and you were in on it?"
"it was just a joke phil." i say
"why would you joke about that?" he asks
"why are you taking this so seriously?" i ask
"didn't know this side of you." phil says walking off
*PHIL'S POV*
"woah woah, what's wrong with you mate." jordan says standing infront of me
"nothin, move." i say
"ha no, come." he says dragging me over to the chairs
he sits me down on the one next to him and inbetween bukayo
"no what's got to you?" jordan asks again
"just those three." i say looking back and they were all looking at me
"what happened?" saka asks
"they were betting." i say
"on what?" jordan asks
"how long it would take me to wanna leave and take y/n to bed." i explain
"that's it?" bukayo asks
"phil bro, you love her. we all know you're gonna sleep with her tonight anyway. what's the big deal if they were guessing what time." jordan says
i sit back in my chair and look down.
"you know i'm right." he repeats
"shut up." i say
i look back and see y/n no longer there, i look around the room and see her talking to jack by the food.
