Will and RJ are both downstairs for the day with Luca and their three dogs, Dobby, Sammy and Astrid.
Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow are all in school for the day!
Will and Luca are cuddling on the couch while RJ is sitting on the recliner doing some work on his laptop. The dogs are all on their dog beds with their names on them that Will's mom bought for them for Christmas last year.
RJ and Will are both very grateful to be able to work from home even before the pandemic began because they can be home with the kids.
Will was suppose to be working from home today with RJ was well, but when he woke up today he felt absolutely awful.
After dropping Theodore and Harlow off at their school Will got a rapid Covid test, afraid that's why he is sick but luckily it was negative.
While Will and Luca cuddle on the couch, Luca is watching Cocomelon on Will's iphone while Will is taking a power nap.
The Cocomelon episode finishes up and Luca frowns because Will is sleeping. Luca then sees
*Luca's outfit*
"Papi! Uh oh!" Luca says to RJ and RJ looks over to Luca sitting up on the couch, next to Will.
"Uh oh what, bud? Oh, is your show over?" RJ asks Luca in a babyfied voice.
"Ya!" Luca says with a frown at RJ wanting RJ to play another episode for him.
"Let's put Daddy's phone down for a while and how about we play with some toys." RJ says and Luca begins to cry a little.
RJ picks up Luca from Will's lap and calms him down by distracting him with toys.
A few seconds later, Will wakes up after not feeling Luca on him.
"Is Luca okay?" Will asks RJ with some worry because he heard Luca crying.
"Yup! His show was over and he wanted another one and I said no so he got mad." RJ says as Will chuckles at the little tantrum Luca had.
"He acts just like me." Will says playfully to RJ and he smirks.
"He really does. He is a mini Will." RJ says with some sass as he walks over to Will and softly kisses him, making Will smile.
"I love you." Will says softly to RJ.
"I love you too! How are you feeling, baby?" RJ asks Will as he rubs Will's forehead, which Will really loves.
"I feel like shit today. The last couple weeks I've felt more tired and just not myself. I know it's not Covid, I know it's not the flu or a cold. I don't know what it is. Part of me wants to get a pregnancy test just to rule that out." Will says to RJ.
Will and RJ have both discussed in length about whether their family was complete.
When Harlow was born, they thought their family was complete - two boys and two girls.
After Harlow's first birthday, Will found out he was pregnant with Luca.
Luca's pregnancy was such a surprise and unexpected to them and it caused a big strain in their relationship but luckily they were able to get back on track and they are better than ever now.
A month after Luca was born, Will and RJ were told about Averie and they just knew she had to join their family even though they weren't even thinking about adopting again.
With the birth Will had with Luca, he was terrified to get pregnant again. Will didn't want the same thing to happen again and neither did RJ.
"Well, it can't hurt to find out, right? Imagine giving birth and now knowing the whole time." RJ says, though it only makes Will frown.
RJ wants to be reassuring husband whenever he can, especially after their rough patches in the past.
RJ does not want to be how he when will found out he was pregnant with Luca. RJ wants to be present and a supportive husband if Will is in fact pregnant again.
Will starts to tear up at the idea of being pregnant but he knows RJ is doing his best to be there for him even though Will thinks he isn't pregnant.
RJ frowns in sympathy, and rubs Will's back to help Will calm down and not have an anxiety attack start.
"Hey, I didn't mean it like that. I think it would make us both feel better to see if you are pregnant again or not. I'll still love you either way and I promise I'll be a way better partner if you are pregnant." RJ says in a gentle and loving tone, which causes Will to feel a little better and calmer.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I think there might be some extra tests in the bathroom somewhere. Hopefully they aren't expired!" Will says and laughs a little, smiling softly at RJ.
RJ chuckles and leans back on the couch, silently telling Will to go ahead while he watches Luca.
"I'll come in after a few minutes and we can find out together, right baby?" RJ asks and Will nods.
"Yeah, I'll do the test and then I can hang out here for those tremendously long three minutes." Will says and soon walks away to go upstairs and get this pregnancy test done.
Will is pretty nervous about it, but he knows whatever happens is meant to be and he knows RJ will be happy either way.
Will reflects on having infertility a few years before adopting Benji and then he became pregnant with Coralei soon after Benji was adopted. Since then, Will has been able to get pregnant four times and have four healthy children - Coralei, Theodore, Harlow and Luca.
Will absolutely loves being a dad and he loves being the dad that he never had growing up. Will also loved being pregnant with all four of his and RJ's biological kids and he really loved the adoption process with Benji and Averie.
Will and RJ love all six of their children the exact same and they both couldn't imagine their lives without any one of them. Will and RJ never thought they would have a big family like they have, but they think it was meant to be and it is perfect.
Will gets everything out and make sure to check the expiration date on the box and luckily the pregnancy test is still good for another few months! Will then goes ahead and pees into a solo cup before setting it on the bathroom counter.
Will opens up the final two pregnancy tests he has and he dips them one by one in the solo cup. One of the pregnancy tests is a line test and the other is a digital test. Will doesn't want any confusion and wants a clear answer.
After he he done dipping the tests, he sets the pregnancy test on the bathroom counter upside down, so he doesn't see the results when he comes back in the bathroom with RJ.
Will washes his hands throughly and goes back downstairs where his husband and miracle boy are sitting waiting for him.
"Da da! Hiiii!" Luca says as he waves at Will, causing Will's face to light up.
"Hi, bud! Hi!" Will says in a babyfied voice before he kisses Luca and then RJ.
"Luca and I were just talking and he said he is a big brother!" RJ says playfully as a joke causing Will to chuckle.
"Maybe! Maybe not! If he is, I'll be terrified the whole time after what happened with him." Will says to RJ.
"I know you will be, but your doctor said that you can get pregnant again and that the risk for what happened during your pregnancy with Luca is only 10%. She said she will monitor you closely and probably have to induce you at 37 weeks or earlier depending on what's going on." RJ says to Will and Will lays his head on RJ's shoulder.
"Pa pi da da!" Luca says as he smiles at RJ and Will, buying both of them.
"You are talking so much bud! I'm so glad you found your voice." Will says rubbing Luca's cheek and Luca smiles.
"I told you he would! He was born seven weeks premature, so he is on his own pace. Plus, the pediatrician said he spoke a lot of words for a one year old, especially one that was a preemie." RJ says proudly.
"I have the best doctor and I trust her a lot. If I am pregnant, I know she will do everything she could to keep baby and I safe." Will says and RJ smiles, kissing Will.
"She really is the best. I literally cried in her arms when she told me you and Luca were okay. A lot of families aren't so lucky." RJ says and Will nods, as the reminiscence on Luca's birth.
Will went to therapy after Luca was born to heal from the trauma and RJ went as well to deal with his trauma he experienced. Will and RJ are forever grateful that Luca is happy and healthy.
Will was very nervous to find out, since he had a lot of complications with his last birth. But a baby is such a joyful thing to bring into life.
And Will was also worried because of the rough patches he and RJ had after Harlow and Luca were born.
"At least I've had both sides of the story now, but hopefully if we go through it again, it won't be a scary birth." Will says, and RJ nods again.
"It will be okay, no matter what happens. I promise." RJ says and gives his husband a kiss on the cheek before picking up Luca.
"Let's go see if you're gonna be a big brother or not! Yeah! Yeah!" RJ coos, which makes Luca clap his hands with excitement.
The three of them walk into the bathroom and Will takes a deep breath.
"Are we ready to find out?" Will asks, ready to flip the pregnancy test over anytime.
"Ya, Da da! Ya, Pa Pi! Eddy!" Luca says, quite the talker sometimes even with his preemie setbacks.
"Yes, we're ready! I wanna see!" RJ agrees, sounding a bit child like.
"Three... Two... One!" Will counts, then holds up the pregnancy test and flips it over so they can all see.
Will gasps and starts to get emotional again. He couldn't believe what was happening.
RJ gasps as well and looks at the very positive pregnancy test. RJ and Will have never seen this positive of a pregnancy test before.
In their heads, Will and RJ both remember the few times they had unprotected sex and trying to pin point which day this baby was conceived. Will could be farther along then just a few weeks along.
"Baby, you are super pregnant! Look how dark your line is!" RJ says with a nervous chuckle and Luca giggles too, not understanding what's going on.
"I must be like really really pregnant, oh my gosh." Will says as he holds onto RJ tightly and RJ tightly hugs Will back.
"It is going to be okay, baby. It's going to be just fine, I promise you. I promise. And you can't be that far along in your pregnancy, you aren't feeling a baby moving around. Are you?" RJ asks Will playfully and Will chuckles at RJ's jokes.
"No, but I feel super bloated and look, my stomach looks like I'm pregnant!" Will says as RJ rubs Will's stomach.
"Well that's a normal pregnancy thing to be bloated and plus this is your fifth pregnancy, so you show earlier. That's what Joey and PK both told me before." RJ says as Will giggles and smiles.
"You always make me laugh during hard times and I love that about you." Will says as he kisses RJ and RJ kisses Will back.
"That's what I do best!" RJ says with a smile at Will.
"Oooo! Oooo!" Luca says as he grabs the pregnancy test and tries to put it in his mouth.
"No no! Don't put that in your mouth, bud. That's yucky! Eww!" RJ says to Luca and Luca giggles.
"Ewww!" Luca copies RJ and does a disgusted face, making Will and RJ both laugh.
"You are going to be a big brother! Oh my goodness!" Will says in a babyfied voice, making Luca giggle and smile.
"What if it's like two babies or three babies?" RJ asks Will causing Will to playfully roll his eyes.
"Oh gosh, I would be terrified but that would be cool!" Will says playfully and RJ giggles.
"It would be! Joey has triplets and PK has twins and triplets! We could do it!" RJ says as he softly kisses Will.
"Oooooo!" Luca says trying to grab the pregnancy test again.
"No, buddy. That is yucky! Let it be." Will says and hides the pregnancy test somewhere else out of Luca's reach.
Luca pouts and tries to cross his arms, but it only looks adorable since he is a baby.
"Wan it! Wan ewww!" Luca asks for the test, but both men shake their heads no, making Luca fuss.
"Aww, look at you, big brother! Are you gonna teach the baby or babies how to play with toys and eat?" RJ asks, playfully pouting in sarcasm before redirecting the frustration.
Luca stops getting upset and nods, clapping his hands again happily.
"The kids will be so surprised, baby! Especially Harlow! She said she wanted a baby for her birthday gift this year." RJ says and smiles.
"Don't say babies! Say baby!" Will says playfully, making RJ chuckle smile.
"Isn't there twins on your dad's side?" RJ says as he, Luca and will all go back downstairs.
"Yeah, I think so but there haven't been twins born in years." Will says as Luca runs around happily.
Luca then jumps up and down in front of Dobby and Dobby looks up at Luca.
"Aww, are you saying hi to Dobby?" RJ asks Luca and Luca smiles.
"Yaaaa! Dob dob!" Luca says as he squeezes Dobby's head into a hug.
"Be gentle and sweet! Be gentle and sweet." Will says to Luca with a grin.
Luca tries his best to be gentle and pets Dobby still a little roughly, but then gives the dog a kiss.
"Good job, buddy. Nice touch." Will says to his toddler, leaning against RJ.
RJ hugs Will, showing his dedication and sincerity towards this pregnancy.
"I love you so, so much. I hope this baby will be healthy." Will says happily, hugging back.
"I know they will be. And they will have all these siblings and puppies to love them. I'm not saying them as in multiples, by the way." RJ says with a laugh, causing Will to laugh.
"I know you don't want to call the baby an 'it', we both know better by now." Will says and smiles even more.
Will cuddles with RJ on the couch, causing RJ to smile ear to ear and RJ wraps his arms around Will.
RJ and Will then kiss each other softly and smile at each other.
"Sam! Ast! Dob!" Luca says pointing to the dogs.
"That's right, buddy! That's Sammy, Astrid and Dobby!" Will says in a babyfied voice.
"Don't forget to call your doctor okay?" RJ says softly and Will nods.
"I will. They are on lunch break right now." Will says with a smile.
Luca then begins to jump around and dance, causing RJ and Will both giggle.
RJ puts some baby music on and Luca happily dances to the beat.
"I love how babies dance. It's too cute." Will says as he films a little of Luca dancing.
"I know, me too! To think we'll have another little dancer in the family is crazy." RJ agrees happily.
"Aby ark! Dooo dooo dooo dooo!" Luca sings along.
RJ rolls his eyes at the song, aka every parents least favorite song ever.
"Maybe Luca would want to join his sisters in dance when he is older. I think he would really like it." Will says with a grin.
Will and RJ make sure the kids are in activities to keep themselves active, meet new friends and have hobbies!
Benji plays soccer and hockey, Coralei and Averie are both in dance and gymnastics, Theodore has started soccer and Harlow has started dance.
"I think he would like that. He isn't old enough right now though." RJ says and Will nods.
"Aby ark! Dooo dooo dooo dooo!" Luca sings loudly and giggles loudly.
"I like your singing voice, buddy!" Will says and laughs at his dancing toddler and the song finally switches to some other baby song.
"So cute, bub! Great dancing!" RJ says to Luca with a smile.
RJ happily and tenderly kisses his husband again and they both relax and chat for on the couch.
RJ and Will have an hour before they have to pick up Theodore and Harlow from preschool and almost three hours until Benji, Coralei and Averie come home on the school bus! :)
