"Mia. What are you doing here," - Steve
"The great Captain Rogers talking to me, not that matters my name is Aspina" - Aspina spoke sarcastically
"Mia stop with the games,
How can we even trust you, you were attempting to steal the sceptre" - Steve
"It's not like it belonged to you anyway" - Aspina
"Oh stop it Amelia, just tell us who sent you?" - Steve
"Seriously, I have no idea what your talking about, I was told to find the sceptre and I would help" - Aspina rustling her cuffs in frustration
"Well I don't believe that and I don't trust you so who are you" - tony finally spoke up
"I told you she's Aspina Livien, she's apart of my fathers council she helps protect the 9 realms" Thor butted in
Smirking Aspina spoke "sorry thor, that's not entirely true even your brother could see through that lie. Im so sorry, but I knew you wouldn't welcome me in if your father knew who I really was. I've been told Odin hated my mother" she shrugged her shoulders.
"Well it be nice for some sort of explaination, as you look an awful lot like someone when new, who died" - Nat questioned
"Look, I just need the sceptre, then I will explain." Aspina got interrupted by tony
"Take over the world, destroy humankind, why do you need it exactly - tony look angry
"Nothing evil, gosh are you always this. Presumptuous. pig headed. Obnoxious." Aspina smiled at tony
"Yes always." Natasha laughed
"Tell us what you want" Thor grabbing her throat lifting Aspina off her feet. Choking her she was gasping for air.
"Thor, stop it" Nat, Steve and Maria yelled.
"I wouldn't do that" Aspina whispered through the choking
He'd dropped her back on to the ground, allowing her to breath again.
"Why not" Thor said holding his hammer under her chin. Titling her face upwards noticing the bruise he caused
"I have a bad temper, it likes to cause explosions" - Aspina said softly
"Enough! you will tell us now!" thor yelled lightening swinging from his hammer into Amelias chest knocking her over.
"Fuck off Thor" - Aspina shouted her eyes glistening gold "asshole" she added
"Look. Your right. All of you. I probably am this person you knew. But I don't remember that life. I don't remember being her. This sceptre is suppose to help. The stone inside it I assume." Aspina huffed rubbing her head with frustration.
"Tony give her a minute, she looks as confused as we do" Banner seemed to be on Aspinas side.
Taking a breath before continuing "I want to know my past lives, that sceptre could help bring it all back" - Aspina
"I'm not Asgardian, I'm not. I'm not completely human. I'm the result of forbidden love between a celestial and... an eternal" - Aspina Slapping her thighs trying to seem like it was normal explaination
Everyone is absolutely shocked, tony walked over the bar baffled, pulling his hand over the bar to grab a large whiskey bottle and pour himself another drink.
"So your not human?" - Steve asks raising his eyebrow
"Wait your not human, this is way to weird" - Nat huffed Aspina turned around putting her cuffed hands on her head taking a heavy breath.
"My father was once, so technically." Aspina shaking her cuffed hands
"Technically?" Steve pushes again
"My father was born human, but then one day chosen for something, 7000 years ago group of extraordinary were created. It was an experiment to create a new better species. These people were given cosmic abilities" - Aspina
"My mother helped create this species. It's all really confusing, I'm still wrapping my head around it all. The species task was to kill and destroy monsters. But this species, they were never allowed to get involved in the human matters " - Aspina
"Sentient Beings have always been considered, since gods started falling from the sky" - banner spoke looking at thor
"I know the person you keep mentioning Amelia may have been me at one point, but that girl died. Devron my mentor found my body, apparently the energy I emit enables me to regenerate. Memories weren't so lucky" - Aspina
"Well you always fought for what you wanted" Natasha explained
"Where have you been all this time?" Steve asked with curiosity
"Sleeping. I guess like you Cap." - Aspina giggled
"More Gods. Great" Tony huffed rolling his eyes
"Look I know I was raised on earth, my mother wanted me hidden here, she thought humans could hide the scent of cosmic energy I emitted. It's confusing though humans are so fragile and frivolous, all you seem to do is destroy everything" Aspina muttered
"But my mentor, was persistent on remembering. Apparently it would be of some value to controlling my power" - Aspina
"Maybe they wanted you to understand and have empathy for the world. To protect it like you once did" Steve stuttered
Steve stuttering, thinking if she should know who she was losing Bucky and herself to Hydra. He never really knew what she endured when they had her in there grasp. Amelias life was such a secret, he never really knew the true Amelia. He looked at Natasha, her eyes full of concern.
Amelia stood there for a moment questioned what he'd just said. Her thoughts just clicked together for a moment, still cuffed by these metal restraints. She was trying to twist her energy out of her hands to release herself.
"It's no use they radiate small forms of gamma, your body is reacting like an allergy. If my understanding is correct, your body will need weeks if not months to adjust to the gamma your unintentionally absorbing" Bruce walked over to Aspina, looking at the flickering light on the restraints. He shook them with his hand, checking it's still functioning. Aspina pulled away from Banner in upset.
Aspina walked over to Steve Rogers, there chests opposite each other, she was looking at him directly. Swaying her cuffed hands up to her chest
"You definitely know something. I will find out eventually" she then stood on his foot, her heel angled hitting his toes. Steve bent over trying to breath through the sudden pain. Amelia flicked her hair turning around to walk away from him to sit on the bay next to Tony.
"Owwwww" -Steve
"Oh god" - Maria
"Ouch that would've hurt" - Natasha
"Damn" - Clint
"Aha, I like this girl" - Tony
Tony poured Aspina a glass, tossing the glass on the bars bench towards her. She'd caught the cup with both hands.
"Was that. really necessary Amelia?" Steve was hobbling for a short moment to sit down on a armchair.
"these cuffs can't stop me that easily" - Aspina took a sip of the whiskey glass
"I won't lie she is quite resourceful" - thor
"Thankyou sweet cheeks" - Aspina
"Don't think your easily forgiven for lying to me" - thor
"I made a white lie, I'm sorry. If it wasn't for me you wouldn't been able to get Jane out safely" Aspina.
"What other lies have you told Aspina?" - thor held his hammer up to Aspina direction.
"lard you loved so much tasted like ass. Honestly I found it disgusting. I don't know how you could drink it" - Aspina
Thor dropped his hammer in dismay "you don't like Gylltur. But our nights of celebration you always had an empty glass." - thor
"Aha. No. I'd swap my jug with your empty one. You got so drunk. You never realised your jug never emptied." - Aspina
Thor dropped into the chair behind him, he seemed to have his feelings hurt.
"Oh point break, it's just beer?" - Tony
Clint was leaning on a post near Natasha
"We have bigger fish to fry. Like that robot that just took the staff and tried to kill us"
"He's right. We need to find Ultron and shut him down" Steve spoke looking at Tony with a scowl.
"What about her, what do we do with her?" Natasha asked pointing her head at Amelia/Aspina
"We could let her help us, she's proven herself to be very resourceful" - banner
"Can we trust her?" - Clint
"Wait a second. We're just going let this girl, who broke through my security waltz in here and almost took the sceptre to join the team" - Tony he shook his whiskey glass, jumping up in frustration.
"For the record, your security bypass codes are actually quite easy to override. You should really do something about that" - Aspina smirked
"Look if the team agrees, we could use your help to stop ultron. You clearly know your way around gadgets and toys, but your powers will need to be monitored closely"
"My nano tech is toys wow" - Tony
"Don't call them toys. You sound so old" - Aspina
"Well he kinda is, another thing you have in common" - natasha laughing
"But my skin clearly looks better though" Aspina shook her head swaying her hair. Natasha looked at her for a moment, remembering how she said something similar before.
Steve stood up, his face budging, his foot was still aching. "Do you want to help the avengers stop a self righteous robot. In return maybe Banner and stark could help restore some of your memories?" - Steve
"Hey now, do I get a say. Or am I just the guy that pays for everything?" - Tony
"Stark!" - Steve
steve laid his hand out for Aspina to take her hands still cuffed. She was hesitant at first, eventually grasping his hand still anxious.
"Well Rogers, I'm coming for you if she stabs us in our sleep" Tony took last sip of his glass, then took his sour attitude to his lab ignoring everyone else. Banner shortly followed him
"Stabbing is such a juvenile method. And usually traceable" - Aspina said, Natasha smirked at her words
"Aspina, Can we trust you?" - Steve questioned raising his eyebrow
"I guess we have to reach the end of the line to find out"- Aspina spoke calmly, grace filling her voice. In that moment Steve saw something, remembering those words coming from Amelia. He knew that Amelia was still in there.
