"Huh?! Wait! There's no need...I...".
You were breathing heavily, and trying to regain your composure.
The man held his bow in place, but his expression softened.
"You what, girlie?".
"I'm...Lady Y/N L/N. If you kill me, you will be faced with the wrath of my father.".
Childe couldn't help himself but laugh.
"Ahahahaha...is that so, my fair lady? Right then. Let's take you back to where you came from..".

You found yourself being handcuffed and dragged by this vile man, who, to your distaste, had no sense of respect, dragging you alongside him like a dog on a leash.
He had taken your vision and stuffed it in his pocket
You reached your mansion.
"I never knew I'd actually get to meet the sole daughter of His Excellence Lord L/N...".
He held the buzzer.
"Excuse me, but I'd like entrance into this grand mansion.".
You scoffed at his audacity.
"Sorry, sir, but could you please state your name?", came the reply from the guards.
"Childe. I'm Childe.".
"Apologies, sir, but-".
"I have the fair Lady Y/N. I'm simply returning her home. It's a shame to see a lady of her status out at this ungodly hour.".
There was silence at the other end of the phone.
"You may come in, but at caution, sir.".
The doors flung open to the spacious reception area, where the two of you were met by guards.
"Unhand Lady Y/N at once!".
Childe scoffed.
"Please, save yourself the trouble. I won't harm the girl.".
He let go of you, and you thudded to the floor at his feet, still handcuffed.
He materialised two daggers of pure water in his hands, gripping them firmly.
You gasped, at the sight of the ocean blue orb on his belt, similar to his eyes.
A hydro vision.
"But if you won't so kindly move out of my way, then I'd be more than happy to rip you all to shreds...'.
The first guard lunged at him.
Childe easily slashed at him, sending him flying to the other side of the room.
You stared wide-eyed as Childe casually smiled at the guard, who lay pained on the floor.
You were amazed at his strength.
If he hit you with that arrow of his back at the lake...
You surely couldn't have survived, not with your petite figure, delicate and unscathed.
"Is that any way to treat your guests?!", Childe laughed, as he took down each of the guards, one by one.
Your father came down the stairs, at the commotion, followed by your mother.
"What's going on?!", his loud, dominating voice boomed.
You shakily raised your eyes to meet his, and, surprisingly, he didn't look twice at you, who was still handcuffed on the floor.
Lord L/N walked up to meet Childe, who had crossed his arms, and looked into the lord's eyes casually.
"My Lord, I have come bringing your daughter, Lady Y/N to you. She was outside, bearing a cryo vision...".
He dug out your vision from his pockets and showed it to your father.
No no, NO!
This damn little piece of-
"Ah, I see. And what was she doing?".
"Uh...dancing, sir. She was dancing on the lake.".
At the sight of the Vision, your father's eyes shined with greed.
After all...a prized possession from the Archons was never a treasure to be neglected.
He was about to take it when Childe tutted and retreated his hand back
"Tut tut...my, how greedy you are...".
"Hand over my daughter's vision at once-!".
Childe had silenced him with a materialised polearm.
Just how many weapons does this guy have?! you wondered.
"It's not your vision. You've spoiled your daughter beyond words. Lady Y/N will be coming with me...".
As if on cue, two Fatui agents rushed in, grabbing you roughly, making you yelp.
Your mother did nothing but look on.
"Mother!" You screamed.
Still, your mom did not move.
Your father was silent too.
"You can pay a ransom to the Fatui, who will then be more than happy to let her go. Surely, it can't be a problem for you? The wealthy Lord L/N? If it means your daughter will be let go?".
"Just how much money are we talking?".
Childe smiled.
"Whatever amount you choose.".
Your father stayed silent.
"I- I can't give any money. I'm sorry.".
You were dumbfounded. A searing pain in your heart overcame you, as your eyes filled with tears.
"Father, no!".
Childe turned to his subordinates, who still had a heavy grip on you.
"Take her to Snezhnaya. I believe she will prove useful to the Tsaritsa.".
Your eyes blurry, you could only sob as you were dragged, kicking and screaming, from your family, and your whole world.
"Mom! Dad!".
They didn't even look at you.
Were you that much of a burden..?
"If it isn't what you want we can easily throw you out. We don't need an ungrateful pest in our way.".
You were sure he meant nothing of what he said.
But then again...
You look towards you as you were taken out of your estate.
Childe led his two subordinates towards the harbor, where they had their Fatui fleet docked outside.
He glanced at you, the poor mess he was taking away from her family.
"Don't worry, my lady. You'll be safe where we're going. I'll take such good care of you, you won't ever look back on this life.".
He then darkened his gaze, as he stopped for a moment to whisper in your earring adorned ear.
"If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people He gave it to.".
...
You were chained to the bed on your first night on the ship.
On your delicate ankle was a chain to a heavy metal ball.
Childe said he'd take good care of you but so far you felt like his prisoner.
"It'll take us a few days to Snezhnaya, my lady. Until then, you will stay in this room. I expect you to be obedient and silent. And I'd know every move you make, because I have a tracker on that little steel bracelet I put on you.".
You were well and truly chained.
"Agents!" He called.
"Yes, Master Childe?".
"Guard Lady Y/N's room. Make sure she doesn't step a foot out of her room.".
"Yes, Master Childe!".
"Good.".
He looked at you one last time before heading out.
"My lady, do not be so startled. We treat everyone like this upon arrival into Zapolyarny Palace, the home of the Fatui and Her Majesty the Tsaritsa. All you gotta do is to stay there and be pretty for me. Think you could do that for me, my fair lady?".
You nodded earnestly.
"Yes, Master Childe." you said, learning quickly from the Fatui agents.
But you looked at him with hatred. Because he took you away from your home.
"What a good girl. I am sure you will obey. But just as a warning, my lady...if you in anyway fail to comply with my rules until the Tsaritsa deems you fit to stay...".
He gave a dark smile.
"All I'm telling you is that you saw what I could do in battle. I won't hesitate to pull a blade on you. I welcomed you into my arms to save you from a life of spoiled riches but little to no compassion, which is no way for a girl of such potential like you to live. I'll talk to you tomorrow, my lady. I know you won't disappoint.".
And he closed the door, leaving you to silently cry in the dark and cold, chains all over your body.
When did your life get so complicated...
