No, this isn't little house on the prairie.

Just a small collection of one-shots that aren't really one-shots because they are all related to each other and the story

So the story began with Percy at age 6, Nat at age 20, Clint at age 24. I'm just making up ages as we go...so, I dunno. Anyway, Percy is 7 now. I think there will be a one-shot for each year. I haven't written it yet so I dunno...

3rd POV

6 Year Old Percy

Percy was running around giggling. She had just stolen Clint's favorite bow. Of course, she knew the consequences of stealing. But what could she say? She's a pro at it! Percy ran into the guest room and ran into the closet. She then pushed a sliding panel that you wouldn't notice unless you knew to look for it. She then put the bow on the rack where she stored his other bows. She also had two of Nat's guns, though it was much harder to steal from her.

"Where are you?" Clint yelled reaching the room she was in. Percy silently slid the door closed and stepped out of the closet.

"You took long enough," Percy said huffing.

"Where is it?" Clint asked. Percy shook her head with a sly smile.

"You won't be able to find it," Percy said.

"Give it to me. This is the third bow you've stolen this month! It's only the 12th!" Clint said.

"Oh, but what's life without a little mystery?" Percy said.

"Just give it back! I'm going to get fired if I ask for another bow."

Percy sighed. "Fine!" She groaned. "But you can't tell Nat!" Percy then walked to the closet and opened the door.

"Your bows are in there," Percy said sadly.

"How did you make this?" Clint asked, walking inside the little room.

"It was quite simple, really. Nat had never looked in the guest room closet and I need a place to stash some things so, I found this piece of wood. Painted it brown, then I cut it in half. I then had to drill wheels into it so could move. I grabbed my pocket knife my mom gave me for my fifth birthday and made a hand grip so that I would be able to open it, but it had to be small enough that aunt wouldn't see anything." Percy said.

"This is amazing!" Clint declared. "Are those your mom's guns? Not even the highest agents can sneak up on her, let alone steal her stuff! This is amazing!" Clint praised making Percy blush.

"It wasn't tha-" Percy started. Her head suddenly perked up.

"Hurry! Close the door!" Percy whisper-yelled to Clint. Clint quickly closed the door after grabbing the eight bows in there.

11 Year Old Percy

"Hi! I'm home!" Percy called walking into her home.

"Already?" Nat questioned sticking her head out of the kitchen. Percy walked to her room and dumped her suitcase and stuff in the closet. Grabbing her MP3 player from her bag she collapsed on her bed. Plugging the earplugs in her ears she fell asleep.

Nat walked into her niece's room. "Percy..." Natasha sighed. She walked up to Percy and pulled the earbud out.

"Percy!"

"Huh?" Percy asked.

"Why are you home already? The school year isn't over yet." Natasha asked.

"Oh...I uh, I got expelled." Percy said pulling the other earbud out.

"What? Again?" Natasha questions. "What happened?"

"I might have broken a kid's nose," Percy admitted shyly.

"How!?" Natasha yells.

"I punched him," Percy said bluntly. Natasha ran a hand down her face.

"Why?" Natasha said exasperated.

"Well, he was annoying. Plus, well...I just couldn't stand him!" Percy said.

"Percy! You cant punch every kid that you don't like."

"I don't! He punched Tyler, and then he wouldn't stop tripping Jonas. Jonas has two left feet so the teachers think he's just tripping on his own feet." Percy summarised.

"I'm going to have to send you to another school now."

"I know."

Natasha sighed and walked out of the room. Percy closed her eyes sticking the earbuds back in.

Clint looked up from his show when Natasha walked in.

"Was that Percy?" Clint questioned.

"Yeah," Natasha said.

"What is she doing here? Her school year isn't over yet." Clint said.

"She punched a kid. But from the fact that she got expelled, I think more happened than she's telling me." Natasha said sighing.

"How many schools?" Clint asked.

"Around four each year so...6 years...this year 2...24-2=22," Natasha said.

"She's an 11-year-old with ADHD and dyslexia. Of course things happen! Someone was probably picking on her..."

"Clint, we can't keep making excuses for her behavior. She needs to stop acting like a child and stop picking fights with everyone she meets!" Natasha yells.

"Maybe she needs a break from school. Enroll her in school again next year. But for the time being, spend some time with her. She goes to a boarding school during the school year and during summer break you always have missions and you two never get to spend time together. Maybe this is her strategy at getting your attention. I heard that her friend Piper stole a Ferrari once. Her dad is Tristen Mclean. She probably talked with Percy and told her how she gets her dad's attention." Clint said.

Natasha sighed. "Maybe your right...maybe she just needs someone there for her..." Natasha trails off. "I'll go talk to her right now," Natasha said.

"Percy?" Natasha called knocking on Percy's door.

"It's open!" Percy said.

"Do you want to do something together?" Natasha asked.

"Unless you want to talk about how The length of each cathetus of a right triangle with equal catheti is equal to the square root of half of the square of the length of the hypotenuse. And that the length of each cathetus of an isosceles right triangle is equal to the square root of half of the square of the length of the hypotenuse, then, I doubt it." Percy said grabbing a notebook from her bag.

"Maybe we could talk about something else?" Natasha said walking up to Percy's bed and sitting on the edge. Percy then closed the notebook she was writing notes in and opened her mouth.

"The aforementioned inquiry presses for an utmost diarrheal plethora of polysyllabic verbiage, and for the sake of itself, such trivial exercise is akin to delinquent enjoyments not to be described, thus inasmuch must not be rejected. It, therefore, is by matter of response to be considered both theoretically and putatively implicit that herein is withheld but disparaged intelligence-enfolded and saccharin-glazed feculences. That good?" Percy quoted from one of the audiobooks she listened to on the greyhound to school.

"I honestly couldn't understand a word you said right there," Natasha admits.

"I know," Percy giggles, "That's why I said it! Maybe you would prefer something more scientific, instead of a  mathematical or that other question? What effect does the pH of water have on radish seed germination?"

"Um...I don't know. Do you know the answer?" Natasha asked smiling at her niece.

Percy nodded, "Even though the radishes watered with a 5.6 pH grew the best, they did not turn out to be the healthiest. The 7 pH radishes grew the most thick and sturdy. In conclusion, radishes watered with a low pH level do not grow to be tall and radishes watered with an exact acid level to neutral grow to be tall."

"Okay, miss smarty pants. Why don't we go out and play catch or something I can understand." Natasha said ruffling Percy's hair.

"Okay!" Percy said jumping out of bed, which resulted in Nat falling on the floor making her chase Percy outside into the yard. Clint joined and they played tag. Of course, they wouldn't be playing like this in a few months. But then is not now, not yet at least, so let us quietly read about this moment and let them enjoy their brief peace.

I know, those weird sciency words hurt your head. They hurt mine too! And I was the one that spent an hour looking for smart-sounding stuff I wanted Percy to say because I love it when she's smart! Dont worry, there will be plenty more torture for you in future chapters. Bye!
