LIFE HAD ALMOST gone back to normal for Madison Walker. Of course, Will was back and even the relationship between Maddie and Hopper has improved, but it wasn't all joy.
Eleven was still gone without a trace and as more time went on, Maddie lost more and more hope. She also hadn't seen her father in coming up on a year. One day he had just left a note and was gone.
He had left behind all of his belongings and therefore left behind his old life, and his daughter. She hadn't told anyone and wasn't planning on it anytime soon.
She had survived for almost a year by herself, she didn't need help.
But when a new enemy finds its way into the kids lives, Maddie finds that keeping up with whatever is hurting Will and hiding her struggles is a lot harder than she expected.
There's also a new kid in town, and she's cool as fuck.
