the chapter starts with kartik and naira going back to udaipur they just now had left mumbai after meeting naitik . meeting naitik was like a miracle to naira why because she had once thought that now she will never meet him but fortunately she has kartik by her side who won't let any of her wishes go into waste . naira had a lot to say especially to kartik because he was the reason that she met her father and all their misunderstandings got cleared up otherwise she would have lost another precious relation of her life
while kartik who was very happy seeing the smile on naira's face after so long and it indeed looked like a real one . he just wanted to speak to her not like a husband but as a friend . he knew that at this time naira needs a friend who supports her and understands her;
while the silence between kaira was infuriating both of them breaking the silence naira spoke;
"kartik",said naira
"haan naira",said kartik hoping for some positive response
"umm thank you really really thank you tum nahi hote toh shayad aaj mere aur papa ke beech kuch theek nahi hota..",said naira but she was interrupted by kartik
"nahi naira sach kahoon toh somewhere it was my fault that you drifted apart from the family ..jaanton hoon mein ki em maa ke bigair zindagi kaisi hoti hain voh dukh toh tumbhi samajh sakti ho i am sure its just that i did not wanted you not to feel the love of a father",said kartik
"kartik... i dont know what to say except ki i am sorry ki maine tumhein kairav se door rakha tumnein abhi kahaan ki you did wanted me to feel the love of a father but maine tumhare aur kairav ke saath vohi kiya",said naira
"naira...jo hua voh hua its not your fault neither its mine its just the fate",said kartik while naira decided to distract him ;
"kartik rukoo",said naira
"kya kya hua naira",said kartik
"i will drive you sit here",said naira
"par kyun like?",said kartik
"tum bhi itne der se drive kar rahein ho i will drive you rest",said naira
"but naira its okay aur vaise bhi its only 1 hour more",said kartik
"that's what i am saying kartik itss full 1 hour",said naira but kartik was kartik he was again and again saying no irritating naira to the core leading naira into full sherni mode;
"oo dekho mendak zyada tar tar mat karo chup chaap bol rahi hoon na stop the car and sit here samajh nahi aata ",said naira while kartik gulped in fear and just stopped the car and sat while naira started driving

kya zaroorat thi kartik what was the need for you to argue with naira couldn't you have agreed in one go ab naira ka sherni mode on ho gaya hain ab toh tu gaya mendak ..you will be dead till we reach goa ab chup chaap beth ja aur kuch mat bol

a while later we could see naira driving and kartik sleeping while when naira looked towards him a smile crept on her face after all those heart-wrecking incidents this smile and this peace was what made her even more happier;
"i know i am very angry at you when it comes to that question and al those custody cases but i know i still love you deep down and that love will never go ..i know you are trying your best to reunite us even i want that but whever i come near you those 5 years haunt me me leaving goenka villa comes right in front of me i am sorry",said naira and wiped a lone tear which passed her eyes
while kartik was in a dream which had shooked him in the dream he was in a white room and he could hear kairav screaming naira and a stretcher coming behind him with a white cloth on it he with shivering hands he life up the cloth and is shocked to see the person and just one scream came out of his mouths and it was;
"nairaaa",said kartik and wake up from the dream while naira who was driving just stopped the car and looked towards him all horrified she cupped his face;
"kartik kya hua you okay aise kyun kap rahein ho wait have water",said naira and made him drink water herself ;
"naira you you are okay right tumhein kuch hua toh nahi na?",said kartik
"haan kartik i am okay but tumhein kya hua ?",said naira
"voh voh sapna usmein",said kartik
"koi bura sapna dekha batao kartik",said naira
kartik pov
nahi kartik agar abhi naira ko pata diya she will be worried mein abhi aise shock mein utha she was hell worried and no kartik you cant that dream usmein naira nahi nothing will happen to her i am there na naira ko kuch nahi hone doonga
kartik pov ends by naira
"kartik kahaan kho gaye tum theek ho na?",said naira
"voh kuch nahi bas ek sapna tha mendak hoon na dar gaya",said kartik to which naira giggled at first
"you sure right?",said naira
"haan",said kartik
while naira drove she was still not convinced with kartik's reply as the look of his face the tension and most importantly the fear which she saw in his eyes was something she has seen when two souls separated and become different when kaira became kartik and naira yes she has seen the same fear in his eyes when he questioned her if she was with mihir ..
"kartik was surely tensed about something moreover scared thats what i could make out with his eyes that same fear that same stress it was something he told it of saying he was just scared from the dream but i am sure that the dream will be horrifying otherwise he wouldn't react like this i am there with you kartik i am here for you",said naira in her mind
"tumhein nahi pata sakta what had happened that dream it was the worst i have lost you earlier but not now i cant afford to do that naira this mendak can't live without his sherni and wont have to i promise you that",said kartik in his mind
