Author's POV
Everyone in there knew what she was capable of. How rude and adamant she is when she wants things in her way. The extent she would go just to make you feel her point. She did with Tina and even with Laila.
With Laila's manipulations, both the men were convinced that the fault was Aria's. Taehyung was blinded by his rage. He could not hear his heart yelling at him to stop. It said he was putting his relationship in deep danger. It said he might lose his wife forever but all its yells were sealed by his boiling anger. The betrayal he thought Aria did to him killed his heart's pleas.
Laila held Taehyung's arms and said,"Taehyung, please. Calm down, you are hurting her," all this while she would see Aria death glaring at her.
"I'll talk to her," Laila said and came face to face in front of Aria.
"Aria, you can tell me," she asked her with fake concern, trying to hold her bruised shoulder. Aria moved away from her and turned on her back.
"I saw you taking it from your room. Stop pretending the facade Aria," Laila spat with malice.
"I am not YOU to pretend facades. If I had fucking changed the files I would admit. I ain't a coward like you to wear masks Laila," Aria bellowed back.
"We all know why you did this Aria. You hate Laila. And this agreement was suggested by her and you want to win against her, which is why you are doing all this," Jin said, making Aria's mouth part agape in shock.
She could not believe her ears. This is how he thought of her to be. This low, and cheap. She gave them a sarcastic smile and shook her head.
"I will make sure Taehyung is not angry with you. Just give me back the files," Laila spoke again. Hearing this, Aria felt enraged.
"Shut the hell up you woman. It's between me and my husband. I would handle him and the issue. Stop butting in. Get the fuck outta our house," Aria yelled at her.
Jin looked at Taehyung after hearing Aria's outburst. This made Taehyung yell, " This is my house not yours. You have no right to ask her to leave. And she has every right in this house, don't talk to her like this," making Aria stunned and teary.
Taehyung asked for the file again to which Aria stared blankly at him. She didn't know how to respond to his cruelness. How could he not trust her when he claims to love her. Is this what he called it as love?
"Aria, you are giving me no option other than doing this. Jin, get the files," Laila spoke, interjecting them. Jin nodded his head and marched towards the stairs, which led to their bedroom.
"Not to their bedroom, but her old room. You can ask Aria the directions," Laila spoke again. Aria's eyes turned confused hearing her.
Aria gives the direction for him to get the mystery file. She has no clue about it yet she has already decided as the culprit. She watched it with blank eyes as she witnessed all this unfolding. She knew the file would be in her room because by now she was aware of Laila's acts.
How she plotted everything against her. She knew Jin would get it to her. All that was running at the back of her head was how Laila would have got the file into her room. What was she missing?
On the other hand, all that Taehyung could pray for was the file not to be in her room. She should not be the culprit behind his insult. He didn't want the files to prove that Aria was fooling around. Just then Hobi and Jimin came. Jimin held Taehyung's shoulder and gave him a light squeeze. Hobi looked at Aria with pity as no one was standing beside her. He wanted to go and stand beside her but he was hesitant.
Just then Jin came with the file in his hand. She gave them a blank look. Taehyung gets the file from him and reads it. It was the same file Laila handed him last night. Aria stood with a look of knowing and a sad smile hanging on the corner of her lips. She knew he was going to accuse her of something she didn't even have the slightest clue of.
Looking at the men standing beside him who claimed to be her brothers, she felt betrayed. She realised they were his brothers. They will stand only beside him. Being the naive trusting fool she was, she trusted them as her brothers. Everything was against her and framed so well.
"It would be hard for him to trust me, but I hope he did," she heard her heart.
Taehyung stood unable to get words out of his throat as it constricted painfully looking at her being stoic.
Laila yelled, "Why are you like this? This was so important for him. You wanted me out of this house, I did. For your stubbornness I gave up for you. Then why did you do this? You wanted him to get ashamed so bad? Just because he agreed to take his project because of me you are doing all this. And what craps you replaced with this? The papers you kept read, he was incapable of being a mafia. He is worthless for the agreement. How could you do such things to him? Do you even love him ? I thought you were perfect for him but you are just attention seeking. Just for the past few months he was with me. Being that clingy attention seeking dramatic wife you were, you accused me. I didn't want him to hurt us, so I gave into your wish and moved in with Jin. But here you are, avenging him because he was going to do something not to your liking. You did such a cheap thing to abash him. Is this your way of getting back at him?" she yelled, making Aria tremble with anger.
Aria could feel all the evilness behind each word Laila spilled. The way Laila planned everything and now she perfectly portrays Aria as the villain in their story. Unable to contain the anger and disgust, Aria slapped Laila.
"You dirty loathsome evil bitch. You fucking planned everything." Saying this she slapped Laila again, harder than the last time. The impact made Laila fall to the ground. Laila broke down completely as Jin went to her aid. Aria glared at the faking woman with hatred.
Taehyung stood dumbfolded looking at her. When he saw Laila fall to the ground he felt very bad for her. Just then his eyes locked with Jin, who looked at him with his glossed eyes. Jin's eyes showed him the pain he felt when he saw Laila being slapped. Jin looked so broken because of Aria's actions. Unable to contain the anger he marched towards Aria and held her arms in his calloused hands.
"What the fuck you did? How dare you? Why are you acting like a bitch when the mistake was on your side. Whatever Laila said was true. Do you even love me? Do you?" He yelled at her face, clawing her heart raw with his unfiltered ruthless words.
He harshly pushed her, which made her hit the floor. He was so busy with Laila's wailing to Jin that he didn't notice Aria falling to the ground. Laila has got some blood on the corner of her lips while Jin tended her as she sobbed.
Taehyung went over to Jin and asked if he wanted anything. Aria's impact with the floor made her hurt her back. Her left hand bleed when the bracelet she wore tore her soft skin because of the harsh impact. Her left wrist was letting out tiny drops of blood but the pain she felt was in her heart. Looking at her husband abandon her. She cried in pain, as stood up from the floor. The humiliation was far more than her painful heart. Still her dumb heart yearned for him to realise it brfore its too late. Too late before her heart turns cold for him. Too late before she forever closes her heart's door for him.
Laila pretending to faint made Jin panic. He called out for maids to get him water. Hobi went to her aid. "Jin, she is just scared and stressed. Nothing complicated," he said.
"I should not have brought Laila here. Why does she have to suffer? I am taking her with me," Jin sneered and Taehyung felt miserable.
"Jin, wait. This is what she wanted. I won't let her ruin you like she did to me," Taehyung spat venomously.
"Look what the fuck you did. You ruined me for loving you but what did my brother do to you? Why did you want to ruin his life? Are you that selfish and self centered? You lured me into you using your fake innocence. Deceived me so well that I can't hate you even after you destroy my sanity. How could you Aria? I am paying for fucking loving a selfish centered bitch like you but what my brother did? Why did you ruin the girl he is in love with? How dare you accuse her ? She is in pain because of you. My brother looks at me with anger because of you. I was abashed because of you. Everything that happened was because of you." He yelled this at her face who stood numb with pain. Thousands of needles pierced her heart at once. Her every fibre was cut to agony with his words.
Her heart almost stopped as he heard his hatred for her. His accusation on her. He called her names and tagged her to be a betrayer. She didn't know what more was there. He waited for her to prove his claims wrong. He expected her to fight back but she stood dead in front of him. All that said she was alive was her tears flowing.
"If you weren't in my life, nothing would have happened. I regret the day I met you. I regret loving a girl like you. I was just like my dad loving a wrong toxic one who likes only to control me. You never loved me. You just loved the control over me. I fucking regret loving a girl like you. I regret marrying--- " A loud slap echoed throughout the entire mansion. Aria slapped Taehyung hard on his cheek, and the impact made his face turn to the side.
That was the wake up call for him. He realised what he spat in anger. A look of astonishment crossed over his features when he realised the words he was accounted for. What he spoke in the heat of the moment. That was the moment he realised how horrible she looked with pain. How dead her eyes were. Regret surged through his veins. He opened his mouth to apologise but she beat him to it.
"Shut the fuck up. It should be ME." She pressed the word ME with pain.
"It should be me, you bastard. You ruined me. You ruined me with your past. You ruined me with your present. You ruined our future. Sorry, my future. I fucking gave up everything to meet your needs. I wanted to mend your heart. And for doing such things to you, you pay with your torment. You were right. I should have never fallen hard for you. I regret the moment I saw you. I regret the moment I believed your fake promise. I regret the moment I confessed my love for you. I regret the day I gave you my heart KIM FUCKING TAEHYUNG. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU SO MUCH. Mark my words Kim fucking Taehyung, I am never coming back again. I would never come back into your arms like I did." With that being said she ran to their room.
