Evelyn was now in Ohio. She had packed two days before and had gotten everything ready for customs for when she had landed. The night before, Evelyn and William stayed in their apartment and had a date night inside, ordering Greek food along with the baklava for dessert. If she were being honest, Greek food was now her favourite as it came into a close second behind pizza.
With their wedding being in two months - she was now on a healthy diet meaning no more pizza and no more sweets. It wasn't that she was doing to lose anymore weight because her weight was good and in the healthy amount it should be, but she wanted to keep that weight. Not gain anymore.
Her etiquette and self-defense classes were put on hold for the time being until she returned back to London. It was mandatory and obligated that everyone who is in the Royal family or is joining the family takes self-defense classes in case of kidnap, terrorist attack, or God forbid they try to kill them. Evelyn was always in shape, working out five days a week and playing sports. But muscles she didn't even know she had were sore almost on a daily when she first started her self-defense class.
She made it to Ohio late last night as she didn't take her families private plane and took commercial instead. She had left later at night, as the airport wasn't as busy. When she arrived she made sure to send William a text letting him know she arrived. She knew he wouldn't write her back then because of the time difference.
It was now late in the afternoon as she had slept the morning away and was now prepping her skin with her skincare items. She always had dry skin and felt like she dried out even more with the aeroplanes. Eve heard a knock on her door and went to answer it, hugging her good friend Tom as he was there.
"Thought you could use these as a pick me up," he handed her a Starbucks fruit blend cup and a salted caramel cream cold brew. She had never tried the cold brew but she was in need of something that will help her wake her better. Eve let out a happy sigh.
"Thank you Tom, you're the best," she gushed.
"Oof, long night?" He asked as they had walked through the hallways and made it to the elevator to go down to the lobby.
"I got in at one in the morning and didn't get here until almost two. So I slept the whole morning. But I'm better now."
"Good because since you get to come on set with me and meet at least some of the cast today and then we're all going out to dinner tonight you need all the energy you can get."
"Got that right," she agreed with him as she took a bite of a strawberry from her fruit blend cup.
He knew that she was trying to watch what she ate for her wedding and he was wanting to be mindful of that. They got into his rental car and onto the way where his set was.
"I almost forgot that the American's drive on the opposite side of us," she joked as music was playing quietly from his phone that was hooked up to the rental car and Tom laughed.
"I know, it's been a while since you've been back in America, right?"
"Yeah, it has. I've missed it though. Did I tell you I'm going to New York after this?"
"For New York Fashion Week?" He asked as he turned left and she nodded her head.
"Yeah," she smiled. "Eugenie and Vivienne are meeting me out there and we're staying at my house in the Hamptons."
"You all will have a great time," he told her. "You'll have to take loads of pictures and send them to Shannon and I."
"I will," she promised him as he made another turn and was five minutes from set now.
"So you excited about your big day? It's coming up pretty soon."
"I know," she let out a laugh. "I am very excited. But I have a few butterflies here and there. When I get back I have my first dress fitting."
"That's exciting. Any hints on what your dress looks like?"
"Absolutely not," she said as she laughed. "If William doesn't get to know then you don't either. The only man who knows is my dad."
"Fair enough," he laughed as he ran his hand through his shoulder length curly hair. "So what did the Queen think when your parents wanted to pay for your wedding dress?"
"Oh I think that was the most shocked I have ever seen her. It took everything in me to not just bust out laughing right there. She tried fighting them on it but eventually she could see how important it was to my parents and agreed. Besides the less the people of the United Kingdom have to pay for the taxes on the wedding the better."
"That's why the people love you," he told her in awe of his good friend as he then pulled into the parking spot that was reserved for him on set. "Ready to go in?"
"Yeah," she smiled big and he laughed at her. "Wait first let's take a picture together so that I can send it to William."
He scooted closer to her as his right arm was rested on the console in between them and they both smiled as she took the picture on her mobile. They walked into the building as they had to walk past security. The guards knew who Tom was but they just needed to see if Evelyn was on the list, which she was. Once she was given the okay to go in she followed Tom in as he led the way since she had absolutely no clue where to go.
"First we have to go to my trailer, if that's okay with you? Hair and makeup has to come in and the style woman who dresses me."
"Okay, which one is your trailer?"
"This one over there," he pointed to one that was a bit closer to set than the others.
He led her over to where his trailer was, opening the door for her and led her inside handing her a water that was in the mini fridge.
"Thanks," she told him as she opened up the bottle and took a big sip of it. "This is so cool."
"It will be even cooler when you watch me on set."
"William wrote me back and said he's jealous," she told him with a laugh.
A few seconds later they heard a knock on the door and then a man and two women came through the trailer door as Tom got up from sitting to greet them.
"Evelyn this is my team who works with me for these movies. This is Nathan who does my hair, Maria who is my makeup artist and Kaylee who is my stylist. This is my good friend Evelyn."
"Evelyn Bennett as in Prince William's fiancé?" Kaylee asked shocked.
"I am," Evelyn laughed. "Nice to meet you all," she told them as they greeted one another.
"You as well," they told her as Maria was getting on her makeup brush belt around her waist as her makeup was already laid out on the table and Nathan began working on Tom's hair by applying some hair product to it in order to get his curls.
Whenever Tom was interviewed, he was most often asked about his friendship with Evelyn. Tom was extremely private of not only his relationship with his wife Shannon, but also of his friendships and that included Evelyn. He knew that the Royal family trusted him and was incredibly grateful that he never put her name out there to sell stories as many celebrities often did with one another.
Evelyn watched as Tom's team made him look the part of Loki before he went on set. As she was watching they asked her all sorts of questions and leaving what conversations they had in that room as they knew how much Tom valued privacy. No one knew yet that Evelyn was in the United States.
But they were sure and prepared for everyone knowing after tonight.
Tom had told the cast and crew that Evelyn just wanted to be treated normal. No special treatment or to have anyone freak out. They walked out the trailer about an hour later onto set, with the director offering a chair right next to him and she thanked him.
"You must be Evelyn," Chris told Tom's good friend.
"I am," she grinned. "You must be Chris. It's so nice to finally meet you!"
"You as well. Only unfortunate that I'm meeting you in my Captain America outfit," he let out a sigh and she smiled.
"I love it," she told him.
"Really? You hear that Tom? She loves it," he said making her laugh as her head tilted back slightly.
"Yeah, yeah," Tom grumbled as he adjusted his hair that had fallen in front of his eyes.
"So Tom tells me you are a fan of me?" Chris asked and she nodded her head.
"Massive fan. I mean I'll always love Tom Hanks. He's my number one but you are second."
"I can't argue with you there. He's an amazing actor that I would love to work with one day. Believe it or not I've been a fan of yours for years."
"No way!" Evelyn's eyes widened. "Are you shitting me?" She asked and he laughed shaking his head.
"I'm not. I've actually had a crush on you for years now. It wasn't until your recent vacation with Tom that I even knew you two were close friends. I've been wanting to meet you for a long time," he told her honestly and the butterflies in her stomach erupted.
"Bloody hell," she said making Chris smile at the British woman.
"Alright quiet on set," Joss yelled. "Everyone get into your places. Get ready in 3...2...1."

It was later that night that they had decided to meet up for dinner. This time it was the whole main cast who was joining them.
"Did you get the pictures I sent you from earlier?" Evelyn asked William on her mobile as Tom drove them to the restaurant.
"I did. I bet you were chuffed to bits when you met them," he said as he teased her, knowing his fiancé probably fangirled over them.
"Don't judge me," she joked back. "Did you know that Chris Evans knows me? I had no idea!"
"You didn't see the tweet that he posted earlier today?"
"No, let me look," she gasped and minimized the call whilst he was still on and looked up Chris Evan's twitter.
Chris Evans posted a picture of the two of them. You could see the obvious height difference between the two, which was the same with her and William. Their arms were wrapped around each other as they both smiled big.

Evelyn read the caption and a big smile made it to her face as she had read it out loud. She had already known that he had been fangirling over her for years as well when she met him earlier that day. But now the whole world knew. The picture was taken after they were done with the scene they had to do and he was no longer in his Captain America outfit. Though they also had one of that too, just for the two of them.
"I still can't believe he knows me," Evelyn said about her celebrity crush to her fiancé. She could hear him grumbling but also knew that he had his own celebrity crush as well.
"Yeah, yeah," he grumbled but she knew he was only joking, slightly.
"Oi! Let me enjoy this moment, all right? You have your celebrity crush too!"
"Fine," he agreed. "I best let you go now. Have a good dinner all right? Take loads of pictures too."
"I will," she laughed. "I love you."
"I love you too," he told her as they hung up and Tom let out a laugh.
"Is he jealous?" He asked her as they started walking to the restaurant they were eating at which was an upscale French restaurant called L'Albatros.
"Insanely," she told him as she laughed as well.
Evelyn was excited to eat french food as it had been a while and to meet the rest of the cast tonight. Her outfit was different than earlier's. She knew that they were going to a nice french restaurant she decided to wear a dress that she got from Anthropologie. Since she had her clothes being in their stores - they gave her half off discount. Even now with her turning her company over to Mary-Kate, David the owner of Anthropologie promised her a lifetime of the discount, which she was grateful for. Even if she didn't need it. She was wearing a white dress with spaghetti straps and a deep-v neckline as it had a feminine tulip skirt that is gathered at the waist to flatter her figure. She figured since was going to be joining the Royal family in three months she wouldn't be able to wear dresses like this often (if ever) so she was going to have fun with it. Eve had it paired with her favourite nude heels and she had a full face of makeup done along with her blonde hair down and curly.
When the news learnt of her handing over her business to Mary-Kate via an Instagram post and a news conference she had, not many people were shocked. Mainly because everyone knew that once you join the Royal family you can't have your own job. Even though the world wasn't shocked, it still made international headline news.
They had made reservations with the restaurant the day before so they knew that they had a big party coming and they knew who they were so they made accommodations for a private area.
Once they made it into the restaurant, the hostess led them back to the table where the rest of their group was as they noticed so far only Sebastian and Chris were there. Evelyn was glad it was only them so far because she never did well being the last one there. It always made her insanely nervous if she didn't know the people she was meeting.
"Hi Evelyn," Chris greeted the blonde first with a big smile as he and Sebastian got up from their chairs to hug them.
"Hi Chris," she smiled just as big as they hugged each other. "You look a bit different than how you were dressed earlier in your Captain America outfit," she teased.
"Just a bit?" he asked as his Boston accent was coming through.
"Just a bit," she laughed and moved onto Sebastian.
"Evelyn?" He asked and she nodded her head with a smile. "It's so nice to meet you. Chris hasn't stopped talking about you since he met you," he told her as they hugged as well and she laughed at his comment.
"It's so nice to meet you as well. Arăți minunat. I just said you look lovely in Romanian," he told her and she could feel her heart melting into a puddle at this point.
"Thank you," she told him as she could feel her cheeks heating up from blushing.
Minutes later, everyone else came who was apart of the main cast along with the director came. With all of them greeting her and being friendly.
"What can I get everyone?" The waiter asked as he got his small notebook and pen ready.
He was writing down everyone's orders and Evelyn ordered the chicken confit which was a crispy leg and thigh with spätzle, paprika and roasted garlic jus.
"This is the first movie where you're all filming together, correct?" Evelyn asked the group and Scarlett spoke up.
"Yes," she nodded her head. "It's been an amazing experience so far too. Lots of memories and everyone's great!"
"That's amazing," Eve smiled at the redhead. "It's always nice to work with people you like," she told her after she took a bite of her spätzle.
"Can I ask... are you nervous about joining the Royal family? Will you miss your work?" Scarlett asked her, having created an instant friendship with the blonde.
"I will miss my work but I know I left it in good hands. I was a fashion designer for half my life so it's become a part of me. A part of me will always miss it but I know I'm leaving it to do some good in this world and that helps me to leave peacefully. With joining the Royal family it's not so much as nerves but I just don't want to disappoint them s'all. They're wonderful and welcomed me into the family like I was one of their own. When you all come to the wedding there's nothing to be nervous about, I promise."
"Easy for you to say, you're going to be part of the family," she teased making the blonde laugh.
"True. But I also know them. Besides you and Elizabeth will get along great with my sister Vivienne, Beatrice and Eugenie."

I'm so sorry for not updating so much lately on this book. But I also have other books that I was updating as well. Also with the current events happening in Afghanistan right now I haven't felt like updating as much.
Please look up what is happening if you haven't already. Praying for safety of all American's, the Afghan people (especially those who helped us over the years) and the troops from other countries right now. Can't imagine what the Afghan people are going through.
I also wanted to let you all know I start my college classes back up tomorrow so if I'm not constantly updating that is why. But don't think I've forgotten about this book if I haven't updated when you guys want. Truthfully, that's partly why I don't have an updating schedule because I only update in my free time. I hope you all understand that school is the first priority to me but again I will not forget updating my books. I'll try to do the best I can but please be patient with me!
