I stare at myself in the mirror, and I feel too pretty. Too perfect. It is a long burgundy dress, with a leg slit and off the shoulder sleeves. The heals are a beautiful sliver that wrap around my leg up to about mid shin. I have on a cute little necklace that is sliver with a small M hanging on the chain.
My hair is crimped, and it is halfway up into a silver clip. A few loose strands hang around my face, and it makes it look better. I have on matching eyeshadow, and long eyelashes with eyeliner. I also have on dark lipstick, that perfectly matches my dress and eyeshadow. My nails are painted nude, and I actually feel beautiful for the first time in awhile.
I nod to myself, and grab my phone and wallet, putting it in the dress pockets. I walk down the stairs and see Tony standing there in a suit, next to him is Pepper. She is wearing a sparkling rose gold dress that has noodle straps and fits her figure perfectly. Her makeup is simple and natural. She has on matching heels and her hair is up in a bun. Tony's suit is just plain black but is obviously expensive and fancy.
I smile at the couple and come up next to them, giving each of them a hug. "You look beautiful Marinette." Pepper says, and I thank her. I ask, "Why are you guys dressed up?" Tony answers by saying, "We are coming to the dance too. They asked for supervisors and surprisingly, most of the Avengers signed up. They are all outside." I chuckle, and ask, "Can I try flying? I haven't yet and I want to." He shrugs, and I let disguise fall, showing my true form. I smile, and run outside, seeing several of the avengers out there conversing.
They look at me, and I spread my wings, stretching them and flapping them softly. I feel the strength pulsing through them, and I flap harder, trying to get off of the ground. I get a few feet up, and begin to fly forwards and in different directions. I laugh as I fly higher, feeling completely free and comfortable and me for the first time ever. I get above the clouds and watch the sun slowly going beneath them.
I smile as I feel peaceful, and dive down at full speed towards the house. I spread my wings out about ten feet above the ground, and slowly lower myself onto the ground. I smile at Tony, and I must look crazy cause everyone laughs. Sam, aka the falcon, comes up to me and pats my back laughing. "Feels good doesn't it?" I nod, and spread them out again, about to take off, but I hear a car turning down the road, and I put up the disguise again. I compose myself, and everyone gives me a questioning look.
"Peter is almost here. With his aunt. They just turned down the road." "You can hear them?" Bruce asks, and I nod. "I'm super-human. A Titan. I can hear better than I used to. I can also see better. Microscopically. It's kinda cool. But also kinda distracting at times. Oh well." He makes an 'o' shape with his mouth, and soon Peter's aunt's car comes into view. I turn around and smile as they both get out of the car, and I go up to him, giving him a hug.
I kiss his cheek and he blushes as he looks at my complexion. His heart rate picks up and I have to force myself not to laugh. I look at May and give her a hug, greeting each other. I look at Peter and slightly blush as I take in his outfit. He is wearing dark navy blue pants, and a white dress shirt. His tie is sliver, matching my accessories. His suit jacket is blue too, and he looks like a young Tony. He did his hair, and he looks good.
"Alright, I'll see you kids later. Bye." May says, and waves goodbye to all of us. She calls out to Peter, "If she tries to leave your side then use your spider stick thing on her so then she can't leave." We all laugh as she drives away, and turn towards the huge group. I say to Peter, "Guess what? I can fly." He smiles back at me, and says, "that's cool. Can you take me sometime?" I nod, and we all start into an easy conversation.
Soon, 2 limos pull up to the house, and we all get in, heading towards the school. The limo I'm in has about 8 seats, and the people I'm sitting with are Peter, Tony, Pepper, Thor, Loki, Natasha, and Bruce. The other limo has Steve, Sam, Vision, Wanda, Clint, Scott, Steven, and surprisingly, Nick Fury.
I look up and Loki is staring at me, and I sigh, asking, "What?" He just shrugs and looks away, and I roll my eyes. "Every time I am near you you stare at me. What the heck is wrong?" He opens up his mouth and says, "You are more powerful than me. Than my brother. Than us combined. You are one of the few things that can kill me in the galaxy. In all of anything. I'm just... I don't know. I guess I'm kind of confused as to why you don't kill me, is all."
I smile at him and answer him with, "You were there the first time this happened to me. When I first became whatever I am. With this power that I have, which is way too much by the way, there is also a curse type thing. I have to love everyone and everything. When I had to ki... kill Thanos it broke me. I was sad for the enemy. I had to kill someone that I loved full heartedly. I have to love my enemies, my allies, people that I have every right to hate. And not just a little bit. With my full heart. So, Loki, I love you. I truly do. And besides, you haven't betrayed me at all. I have no reason to want to or need to kill you." He only nods, and we sit in silence.
We drive, and pull up to the school. Several people are in front, along with photographers and other people. I sigh, and someone opens up the door. Before we get out, I thank the driver, Stan Lee. Peter gets out first, then I follow. When I get out, everyone stares at me. The camera's stop clicking, and it is dead silent. Then all at one they all begin to click again, and I step away from the door.
Tony comes out, with Pepper, and the cameras go crazy. More and more people come out of the car, and even the students begin to notice all of the heroes. The next limo pulls up, and everyone gets out. They come near me, and Loki stands right by my side. He smiles at me, and I smile back. I hold Peter's hand and we walk into the school together.
The adults come in slowly, trying to seem discreet. I'm standing by the wall while Peter is in the bathroom, and suddenly Lila comes up to me. "Hello liar." She says, and I just roll my eyes. "So Alya talked to you." She nods, and comes up close to me, trying to be intimidating. I just stand there bored.
"There is no way that Tony Stark adopted you. And you have never met an avenger in your life, unlike me." I just smile at her, and say, "Loki, Thor, Vision, Nick, Tony, can you come here please?"
We stand there for a second, and suddenly they are at my side. "You called?" Vision asks. "Everyone, who is this girl?" Loki stares at her, and I can here her heart rate pick up, knowing that she has been caught. "Honestly Mari, I have no idea." Thor says, and looks at the fox-like girl in front of him. "We-well you ca-can't prove that To-Tony Stark adopted yo-you." She stutters out.
Tony rolls his eyes, and says, "Yeah right. Take my word for it. I adopted her." (Ok I know I didn't put it in the story but let's just say he did alright?) She just stomps away from us and we begin to laugh.
Peter walks over to me, and grabs my hand. "Can we dance?" I nod, too flustered to be able to talk. He guides me over to the middle of the floor, and puts his hands on my waist. I trail my hands up his chest, and rest them around his neck.
We begin to sway to the music, seeming peaceful in our own little bubble. Someone taps Peter's shoulder, and we look to see who it is; Adrien. "Can I dance with her?" He asks, and Peter looks at me. I kiss his cheek and nod, feeling like I need to talk to him.
The boys switch places, and Adrien says, "I know." I look at him with a questioning look, and he says, "Hello Ladybug. When are you going to give me my ring back?" My face goes dark, and I stop swaying with him. We are just standing now. "I destroyed it."
I say, staring into his eyes.
"You and I both know that that isn't possible. Where is it?" I sigh, and say, "I'm telling you the truth. I had to destroy all of them, and put the power into a more powerful thing. Something that could hold all of them at one time, and so then the could be activated all at once. Constantly."
His grip on me tightens, and I feel a sharp pain in my hip. I look down, and I knife is deep into it. A sliver, bright liquid seeps around it, and I realize it must be my blood. "Well," he starts in a dark tone I have never heard him use before. "Guess I found that thing." I pull away, and the knife falls out of my hip. I let my true form show, and I spread my wings in a defensive manner. My blood is draining out of me fast, so I swipe my hand over it, the creation power healing it.
I still feel weak, just not as bad as it would have been if I kept on bleeding. I put my hands in a claw shape, and let the destruction come out of them, swarming around me in a protective shell. Everyone steps away from the dance floor, gasping and shouting.
Adrien pretends to be afraid too, and points at me, shouting, "Monster!" I stare at him, and for the first time I truly feel hate. I stare at the boy, and begin to walk towards him, elegantly, slowly.
I get right up in his face, and put my hand on his cheek. I whisper, "Cataclysm." And the boy in front of me turns into ash, dissolving onto the floor. The feeling doesn't leave me, and I turn towards Lila, who is cowering in a corner. I use my powers and push her forward, making her be right in front of me.
I say the destroying word again, and slap her across the face, in which she turns into dust too. My anger dies down a little, and I let out a crazed laugh. I look at the people around me, and see most of them cowering. I look towards Tony, and his eyes are cold, untrusting. But they still have love in them.
I turn towards Peter, and Ned and Mj are cowering behind him. I study his features, and they bring me back to reality. He has anger, fear, distrust, and hate in his features. I realize how awful I am, and how bad my actions were. I look down at my hands, and begin to tear up.
I look back towards the boy I'm in love with, that I betrayed, and mouth, "I'm sorry." I open up a portal and jump in, leaving behind the people that are no longer safe to be around me, and leaving behind my family.

Ok please don't hate me... even though you have every right to... but I'm going to continue this story. And it is going to be in this book. Because school is starting soon There probably won't be as many updates, but I promise there still will be some. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter and the book so far.
I also want to say that I am starting another story. It is called, "Dreams" it is in Adrien's POV, and it starts about three weeks after Chat Blanc. It is about how he keeps on having these "dreams" where the city is destroyed and he is in white instead of black. Where these dreams feel a lot like memories. He begins to wonder more and more about what they are, and why he is having them.
