Stokeley's nightmare incident happened a few days ago. He and I have become closer, and it has been wonderful. Right now we are bathing Gekyume in the bathtub.

As the shampoo in Gek's hair slowly rolled down his forehead, I shouted at Stokeley, "You're getting it in his eyes!"

"Then you shampoo him," Stokeley remarked, motioning for me to clean Gekyume. We let Gekyume sit in the bathtub for a few minutes after we finished cleaning him and playing with his toys.

"Why does his face look like that?" Stokeley said making a face back at Gekyume.

"Like what," I said as I looked at Gekyume.

"He's gonna poop. That's his pooping face." I said as I quickly grabbed Gekyume from the bathtub and rushed him to the toilet.

"Open it hurry," I said to Stokeley as he opened the toilet seat.

I sat Gekyume on the toilet and held him there so he wouldn't fall in.

After I scooped up Gekyume and took him to the changing table to clean him again, Stokeley replied, "Well, now he can start potty training."

I saw a bulge on Gekyume's stomach when changing him."What is that, Stokeley?" I remarked this while pointing to the hump on Gekyume's stomach.

Stokeley stated boldly, "It's a belly button."

"No, that's not a belly button," I responded as I examined it more closely.

"Yes, it is. It's an outie."  Stokeley asserted himself once more.

"No, I don't think that's what an outie looks like," I responded, a serious expression on my face as I pondered what the lump was.

I was currently at the Doctors office waiting for the nurse to call Gekyume in.

"Gekyume Onfroy." the nurse said a s she opened the door and looked down at her clipboard, I stood up and followed the nurse to a room via the door.

"I'm just going to weigh and measure him." The nurse stated a s she grabbed Gekyume and placed him on the scale. As she was writing down the numbers on the scale, Gekyume continued to make noises, leading the nurse to smile and stare at him. He was flirting with the nurse.

As the nurse left the room, I added, "You are obviously your daddy's kid," which made gekyume grin and flail his arms.

"Hello, my name is Dr. Anderson. Is it okay if we bring in a student nurse?" As he walked in, the doctor said, shaking my hand.

"No, feel free," I answered as I shook his hand and sat gekyume in the middle of the room on the bed. I recognized Jay from dancing class as the student nurse entered. I was taken aback.

Of course, what does he lack?

"Nice to see you again," Jay remarked, shaking my hand and smiling, and I reciprocated.

"All right, let's see what's wrong," the doctor remarked, putting on gloves and grabbing his stethoscope to check Gekyume's heartbeat.

"All right, Mrs. Rowe, tell me what's up." The doctor continued to monitor his heartbeat.

"I saw Gekyume had a small bump on his stomach yesterday," I answered in response to the doctor's enquiry.

"It appears to be an abilicord hernia. It ought to vanish on its own." After a thorough examination, the doctor stated, which relieved me.

"All right, that's good news," I remarked, laughing slightly. The doctor prescribed medication for Gekyume to alleviate the hump. The doctor soon left, leaving Jay and myself alone in the room.

"I heard what happened, and I'm sorry for your loss," Jay said as we locked gazes.

I held Gekyume and murmured, "Thank you."

"I had a call from you, but you hung up before I could answer," Jay explained as he helped me out of the room.

As I walked down the corridor, I said, "Yeah... yeah, something came up."

"This is for you then," Jay remarked as he scribbled something on a piece of paper and handed it to me. I offered him a small grin and began walking away.

Jay waved me off with a big bright smile and said, "Call me." Which made me laugh even harder.

"I will"

Gabe requested that I bring Gekyume to the studio tonight, so I did. I ended up driving home after a studio session.

"I'm home," I announced as I entered the house, gekyume in my arms. Is this how it feels to have a white father?

As I stepped into the kitchen, Solana stated, "You know what I realized, I'm never going back to my usual life."

"Wow, do you ever take off that durag," Solana asked, sipping her red wine and looking at me.

"How's that wine holding up for you?"  I asked as I observed that Solana was intoxicated, causing Solana to mumble something as she drank from the wine bottle.

"Did you want some?" Solana remarked this while shaking the wine bottle to emphasize that there was still some remaining.

As I watched Solana pour more wine into her glass cup, I responded, "No, no, no, I'm fine."

Solana guffawed, "I could share, I'm a terrific sharer."

"You are so inconsiderate. When I was first met you, Jenesis told me that. She even said you might be an asshole at times. Now imagine myself parenting a child with that asshole." Solana murmured as she waved her arms around,

"Come on, you need to get to bed," I murmured as I stopped her and took her arm, trying to bring her to her room.

"It feels so good to say that to your face," Solana said slurring her words as we walked up the stairs. As we got close to the top the doorbell rang.

Solana turned to face me and whispered, "Someone's at the door. door. I'll get it," As she attempted to take a step down she tripped, forcing me to catch her by her arms.

"I'll grab it," I said standing her up at the top of the stairs,

"Hello, my name is Aileen Gomez. Your social services caseworker." As she reached out from the mines, she said.

"Of course," I replied, "of course."

Why does she have to come now, of all times?

As she scanned her clipboard, Aileen stated, "You were notified that we'd be making a couple unannounced visits."

"No," I responded, pushing Solana backward as she tried to see who was at the door.

"Pardon me?" With a puzzled expression on her face, Aileen responded.

"I'm sorry," I muttered, returning my gaze to Solana, who gave me a smug expression.

Looking back at the social worker, I responded, "Well, this is absolutely unannounced."

"Just give me one minute," I said as I hurriedly locked the door,

"Who is it?" Solana said with a puzzled face as she tried to look out the window,

"Social services," I said quickly as I turned towards her and pulled her away,

"Solana you have five minutes to shower, sober up, and be the responsible pain in the ass you've been since you showed up here," I said as Solana quickly nodded and rushed upstairs.

"Stop pushing me," Solana said as she fell down a step.

"I didn't even touch you," I said shaking my head. I walked to the living room and put Gekyume in a play pit and then opened the door for the social worker again.

"So how about I show you around the house?"
