school had been going on for a month now. me and harry barly speak, and draco just acts like nothing happened. i sighed as i sat down for dinner. "i have an anouncement." dombledore called to the hall. we gave him are attintion. "as you all know, halloween is only a few days away. and we have decided that for halloween we will be having a masquerade ball." i heard girls giggle and guy murmer. i smiled a little. "we will be atking a trip to hogsmeade tomorrow and classes will be cancled for the week. so i suggest you all get a nice sleep tonight. let the feast begin." all the food came and i filled my plate.
"what do you think about that?" sarah wispered to me. i shruged. "its interesting i guess but i dont know if i'm going to go." she gasped. "how could you not go?" i shruged. "i mean i dont even have a date." "so? you'll meet somone there. just go for an hour and if you dont like it you can leave. ok?" i sighed but nodded. "good."
as soon as we finished eating we went to are dorm got dressed for bed and went to sleep. when i woke up i quickly took a shower, got dresses, and put on a little make-up then me and sarah left for breakfast. we ate then everyone left for hogsmeade.
once we got there me, sarah, hermine, and ginny went to a dress shop. hey i said i didnt talk to harry. that has nothing to do with hermine. in then end sarah got a hot pink dress, hermine got a pretty light pink dress, and ginny got a pretty blue one. i got a beautiful red dress with a red half mask. we payed for are stuff then went to get some butter bears.
the weel flew by faster then i thought it would and it was now the day of the masquerade ball. i curled my hair and put a little eyeliner on then some red eye shadow. then i put my dress on.
then i put a black cloak around me so no-one could see me yet and put my mask on.
then i headed off to the great hall. people didnt seem to notice me becaues i still had the cloak around me and the hood up. when i was at the doors of the great hall i took the cloak off and smoothed down my dress then entered. people turned and stared. there were a lot of people here. more then i thought.
i heaed toward the refreashment table and got me some punch. it better not be spiked. i felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to come face to face with a gorgase man. "hi." he said smileing. "hello." a slow song came on just then. "may i have this dance?" he asked bowing a little and holding out his hand for me to take. i smile and put my drink down then put my hand in his. "yes you may." he straitend up and lead me to the center of the floor.
he put his hands on my hips and i wraped my arms around his neck and we started at dance. "so mystery girl, tell me about you'r self." "what do you want to know?" i asked. "i dont know. whatever you'll tell me." i smiled at him. "ok. hmmm........my favorite colors are red, black, midnight blue, and silver. i love chacolate ice cream. if you think i'm some preppy bitch you'r just wasting you'r time. i'm really random and sacastic. anything eles you want to know?" i asked him smileing. he laughed. "preppy bitches? nice touch." he said smileing. "if i think of another question i'll let you know." he said smileing. i nodded. "so what about you mystery boy? what are you like?" the song ended and another song came on. "hmmm........my favorite colors are green and silver. i love vanilla ice cream. and i'm sacastic and somtimes rude." i thought for a minute. "slytherin i'm guessing. am i right?" he smiled and nodded.
i looked into his eyes and stoped dancing. thos's icy blue eyes. draco malfoy. "whats wrong?" he asked confused. "draco?" i asked my voice cracking. "ya. how did you know?" i quickly steped away from him and ran out of the great hall getting my cloak at the door and putting it on. i knew he was fallowing me and by this rate i wouldnt get that far so i grabed a broom that was thankfully near me and flew up into the air. my cell phone fell. i quickly tried to get it but it was to late. draco caught it before it hit the ground. oh great. i looked at the clock that was at the top of the school and saw it was midnight. wow more time passed then i thought cause i came when it was ten. how am i going to get my phone now? ugh! why does this always happen to me?
