"(Y/N), come on!" Rose squealed as she dragged the tired teenager along. (Y/N) invited the entire band, and everyone agreed, but (Y/N) forgot about the whole getting up early thing. Owen said they were taking the private plane so they could leave whenever, but Milo wanted to be out on the beach as soon as possible, and he was a simp, so up at 4 am they were, making it to the airport at 6 am after picking everyone up.
Luka and Juleka hung in the back, both happily watching their partners talk. Rose had the most energy out of everyone, bouncing as they walked to the hangar holding the plane, the pilot already waiting. (Y/N) was clearly the most exhausted, they were too excited to sleep. Owen and Milo were up ahead with Mylene and Ivan, who were happily chatting with the adults.
As they got on the plane, the adults went off to a more private area with alcohol while everyone else took a seat. Juleka with Rose, Ivan with Mylene, and (Y/N) with Luka.
"Hey, doll, are you okay?" Luka asked softly as he sat down, he could see how tense his partner looked.
All (Y/N) could manage was a nod before hiding their head in his shoulder. Luka just pet their hair and waited patiently "Do you not like flying?"
"It's just takeoff and landing, but it freaks me out" (Y/N) admitted, blushing in embarassment.
He smiled and pressed a kiss into their head "Do you want me to hold your hand during takeoff? You can lay your head in my lap if that's better for you" his focus immediately shifted from vacation to his partner, automatically wanting to do whatever he can.
Somehow that made (Y/N) feel worse, so they smiled and sat up straight "No, I'm okay. Stop looking at me like that I'm fine."
As the plane took off, (Y/N) felt a pang of guilt every time they whimpered or flinched or just looked anxious, and it felt even worse with Luka sitting next to them looking like a lost puppy because he doesn't know what to do. It had hit (Y/N) how much it feels like Luka is doing so much and they're doing so little. He's helping constantly but thr last time (Y/N) had been the one to comfort him was months ago. Good for him if he was doing fine but there was so much going on how is he not a wreck. (Y/N) blinked and that thought spiral had lasted over an hour and they were trying not to cry.
Luka reached out to hold their hand, which (Y/N) accepted as they sat there in silence. "You know you're never a burden to me or anyone here, right?" He asked quietly, and his voice was so gentle and soft that (Y/N) melted into his arms the second he hugged them "For one, we love having you with us and you're literally taking us on a very expensive vacation with you"
(Y/N) pulled back to talk "I know, it just feels like you do so much for me emotionally and I'm worried I'm not taking care of you very well, y'know?"
Luka's eyes softened as he smiled "Baby you do so much for me, don't worry. Now come here so I can kiss you, please."
He kissed them softly, like he was cherishing every single second of it. Luka and (Y/N)'s heads both still spun every time they kissed eachother, and Rose's stealth picture proved it. The picture in question was already sent to Luka, the vibration of his phone startling the couple.
He smiled like an idiot looking at the picture though, immediately changing his home screen to the new picture. (Y/N) watched all of it with a smile before they both eventually fell asleep cuddled up next to eachother.

Owen's gentle voice wss the first thing (Y/N) was able to process after being lightly shaken awake, "Luka, (Y/N), we're here"
