~Third Person Pov~
Y/n walked into Transfiguration and to her seat next to Lily. She looked behind her to see James and Remus sitting behind them and leaned her chair backwards, so it was leaning against their desk, then turned to look at them, "What are we doing?" She asked James.
"Testing." He scrunched up his noes, with a disgusted look.
"Did you study?"
"No, you?"
"Never." She smirked and leaded forward in her chair, making it fall on all fours.
"No 'Hello' to me?" Lily asked.
"Oh, Hello Lily." She rolled her eyes. She dug through her bag looking for a quill to write with.
"Ok, class, today we'll be testing. Over simple transfiguration spells. But as you go through the questions, they'll get harder." McGonagall announced, looking around the room. "So I hope you all studied." She looked at a few students directly in the eyes, then at Y/n and James. She started handing out papers. "You may begin once you get your paper."
'I must remember something' Y/n thought.

About ten minutes had passed and Y/n was halfway through her test. Not confident in her answers, she kept going to get it done. James had already finished, most likely guessing through the whole test, and Remus and Lily were almost done.
The room was to quiet for the girl. Of course, you could hear the sounds of quills raking against papers, and occasional cough for students. But the room was just to quiet. Y/n grabbed a book from her bed that laid on the ground, held it up a bit, and dropped it, making a loud sound. It made a few students jump, along with professor McGonagall.
Trying hard to hold a laugh back, the girl looked around like she didn't know what happened.
"What was that?" The boy who sat behind her asked.
"My book." She grinned. "I dropped it on purpose." She laughed slightly, making him laugh as well.
"I could do better."
"I'de like to see you try, Potter."
"Alright, L/n."
He took his wand out and said a spell under his breath, making McGonagall's hat turn bright yellow. "WHO DID THIS!" She yelled, standing up and slamming her hands on her desk. She looked around and saw the boy's wand out. "Potter! Detention after class!" The professor yelled once more. She sat back down, turned her hat back to its original color, and went back to doing her paper work.
Y/n turned around to face James and stuck her tong out. "Stupid." She laughed.
His eyes wide, not knowing what to do. Lily turned around to face them both and glared at James.
"At that, James, is why you can't get Lily to like you." Remus said under his breath, making me laugh.

~Y/n's Pov~
"She made me do it!" James yelled, pointing at me.
"Did not!"
"Did to!"
"Shut up!" Marlene yelled. "You both are annoying!"
"But-"
"No fucking 'but' James! You both act like five year olds."
"What do you expect from them?" Remus said, making Sirius burst out laughing, and everyone laugh at Sirius.
James just and I just glare at everyone.
"See!" Sirius laughed. I look back at him with a mad look. "Sorry." He said, still laughing, about to put a hand on my shoulder. But instead I move out of his reach and give him a disgusted look. "What?"
"You know what." James pulled my arm, leading me to a different corridor which lead to the Great Hall.
"They can walk by themselves." He says.
"We don't act five." I say.
"Nope."
"We act seven at the lowest."
"That's only a two year difference."
"Yeah, but it's still older. Would you rather be called a five year old, or a seven year old?"
"Neither. Maybe sixteen?"
"Then you especially need to start acting like one. I act older than you." I laugh.
"You can go walk with them." He said, pushing me back to the group and running off.
"Did you offend him to?" Marlene laughed.
"Yeah. Because I said, I acted older than him. Seven at the lowest."
"We can settle at seven. And he'll be five."
"Seven and five? At least I'm older." I say as we keep walking."
We all sat down once we reached the Great Hall. Grabbing F/f and a plait, I started eating. Noticing Violet looking at me weirdly, I look up from my plait and look at her. "What?"
"Why do you like that so much? It's nasty."
"Your nasty." I raise an eyebrow and keep eating. Some people think it's weird that I like F/f so much, but to bad for them that they don't appreciate it as much as I do. The lack of respect that some people have.
"Are not." She said.
"Don't start this, because I could go on for hours and hours until you finally give up. Then I would win." I say, still looking down at my plait.
"Fine." She mumbled.
"See."
I would win. No doubt about it.

Classes were done for the day, and I was sitting in the common room playing with Lily's hair because I had nothing better to do.
"Your hair is soft." I say.
"Thanks." She laughed.
"Mhm." After a few minutes, I get bored. "I'm bored. What should we do?"
"Nothing."
"You're so boring." I roll my eyes.
"How about we go see what Marlene and Violet are doing?"
"How about we bug the boys instead?"
"Why? That would mean seeing James."
"Exactly. Come one!" I get up and help her up. Grabbing her hand, I pull her up and drag her to the boy's dormitory. Barging in like a nice person, I make Peter jump on accident.
"What was that all about? Dos no one know how to knock anymore."
"Nope." I smile. And plop down on Sirius's bed.
"Hello Love." He said quietly.
"Stop." I say quickly.
"Why?" He smirked.
"Because, you're to, I don't know. Hot."
"Why thank you."
"Stop with that look." I hide my face in my hands.
"Is Y/n blushing?" He laughed.
"Stop it."
I look over to Lily, who was standing awkwardly by the door. She walked over to me as her eyes widen. "Why did you do this to me?" She said. "I don't like this."
"To bad, Lily flower." I laugh, earning a glare. "Leave if you really want to, but I'm staying."
"Good. By guys." She simply said, walking out of the door, and closing it behind her.
"She secretly wants to stay." I whisper to Sirius. "She's just awkward."
"Because James is here. That's why."
"Exactly." I laugh.
