Once again, here you are.
You were standing under the usual shady tree that you and chifuyu would always meet up for a date. The clock was ticking and there were no signs of the blonde boy. The weather wasn't helping either, it was hot and sunny outside.
"Where the hell is he?" You mumbled in annoyance.
Including this, it's been the 5th time of chifuyu being late or leaving you hanging like this.
2 days ago, he had suggested on going on a date to your favourite cafe since it has been quite a long time plus he wanted to make up for his previous mistakes. Still, he's repeating it all over again.
You didn't know what to feel, it was all anger, sadness and confusion mixed up all together like a bubbly mixture, waiting to burst. If you knew he would do this again, you'd leave 2 hours ago. And yes, you've waited for 2 whole hours for him to show up.
Your phone wasn't receiving any notifications or calls whatsoever.
"Fuck this shit." You turned around and left the spot with tears streaming down the side of your face.

CHIFUYU's POV
"I know, then he went 'pow'!" Baji laughed, clutching to his stomach. I suppressed a loud laugh and wiped my eyes that was filling with tears from smiley's stupid jokes.
"Oi chifuyu, don't you actually got a date with y/n today? Aren't you gonna be late?" Draken popped up behind them with emma walking with a huge pout. "How dare you make y/n wait!" She fitted a tantrum only to be held back by draken.
At that moment, i started running.
"Shit."

Y/N's POV
As i got home, i changed my clothes into some casual ones and laid on the bed, massaging my sore legs from standing too long. Just as i was about to fall asleep, multiple notifications and ringings started coming from phone. I stared at the bright screen emotionlessly before switching it off.
"I'm tired of this."
With that, i drifted off to sleep.

The next day, toman had another meeting as told by emma who texted me this morning. I wore my hoodie and started to make my way to the Musashi Shrine.
"Oh, y/n!" I heard baji's voice, calling out to me from behind. Beside him was chifuyu who looked like a nervous wreck. They got closer and we eventually stood in front of each other.
"Y/n, i-"
"I'm just gonna get straight to the point. Honestly, I don't think things are working out for us, chifuyu. Let's break up."
He stared at me with widened eyes, mouth wide agape. Baji was just as shocked as him.
"Are...are you serious?" He wasn't looking at me anymore, bangs covering his eyes.
"Yes."
I walked away, blinking away the tears that were threatening to fall any second. Perhaps it was miscommunication that tore our relationship apart,
but could it actually be saved at this point?

CHIFUYU's POV
"Dude, are you ok-"
"I won't join the meeting today." Baji stayed silent while awkwardly shuffling in his place. "Fuck, I'm a bad boyfriend, aren't i? What kind of boyfriend leaves their own girlfriend to wait out like that and repeating the same mistake over and over again."
I ruffled my hair in frustration, wiping the tears away.
"To top it off, i just lost her like that."
But am i really, just gonna let things end like this?

Y/N's POV
3 days has passed.
I locked myself in my room, snuggling into my blanket for comfort.
"Honey, if you want to talk then I'm always open, alright? Food is also downstairs if you want to eat." My mom, knocked on the door gently for a reminder. I hummed while mindlessly scrolling through my social media.
It was already night time, 10:45 PM at night to be exact. And here i am, heartbroken and alone like a little bitch that i promised to not be. Who knew that ending a relationship would be this hard?
"Was i overreacting in the situation? Maybe, I shouldn't have ended our relationship like that."
I was feeling so confused.
"I should just sleep."
I stood up to switch off the lights but then, i heard a soft knock on my window. Again, another soft knock, as if someone was throwing something at it. Carefully, i sneaked beside the window and peeked in between the curtains.
On the ground, i could see chifuyu standing innocently with a hand in his pocket while the other was hiding behind his back. I hesitated to open it but wouldn't it come off rude to brush him off like that? With a heavy heart, i slid open the window and leaned over to get a better view and hearing.
"Hey, y/n.."
It was awkward, the atmosphere felt odd.
"I know, you probably hate me and don't want anything to do with me right now."
"And, I'm not really an expert when it comes to relationships yet so i looked it up on the internet and got some inspirations from those romance mangas that you gave me on my birthday."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for leaving you and making you wait all alone like that. I know, I should've informed you and just called you if i was going to be late but I didn't because I'm stupid as fuck. I'm well aware that it's my fault, and i really don't want to lose you, y/n."
He looks up to me and looks at me in the eye.
"As cringey as this gets," he takes out a rose that was securely hidden behind his back and showed it to me.
"Will you please go out with me once more? "
My heart was beating and thumping like crazy. I was speechless, tongue tied and shocked. Realising that the neighbours would catch us like this, i closed the window and ran downstairs.
"Y/n, where are you-"
"I'm going out, mom!"
I closed the door and wore my slippers before running out to go meet chifuyu.
"Y/n...you came out." He nervously fiddles his fingers and twirls the rose around.
"I believe that i also owe you an apology. Perhaps, it was childish of me to act like that without hearing your explanation but you have to understand me, chifuyu. I've waited for you nearly over 2 hours for 5 times already even though you promised to not do it again."
"But i also believe that everybody deserves a second chance, especially since you made such huge effort to do all of this in front of my house at night. Also, I'm a sad bitch without you."
He giggles, pushing his hair to the back and steps a foot closer to me before tucking the rose behind my ears.
"Can we just get back together again?"
I laughed, pulling him for a quick peck on his lips.
"Fine with me, silly."
His eyes were filled with light and love once more, the chifuyu that i fell in love with.
"Let's go on a date right now! I have everything set up already with the help of emma and hina. Although, emma nearly killed me for hurting you like that." He locks our hands together and we started walking.
"Really? What have you prepared?"
"It's a secret! But I promise, it'll be the best date that you'll ever experience through out your whole lifetime!" I hummed excitedly. "That sounds ambitious but I'm excited for it."
Chifuyu grins and leans over to press a soft kiss on my forehead,
"Of course, after all, my princess shall only receive the best from me."
