"Well, i'll say this much, they don't your friend "Wreck-It" for nothing." Calhoun maneuvered throughly the destroyed path of the mountain, Felix behind as he looked on worriedly.

"There's the shuttle."

Calhoun jumps off of the cruiser, pulling out her gun and charging it up as she points it into the empty vehicle.

"Is he in there?" Felix clasped his hands together before jumping next to Calhoun, looking into it as she pulled the gum away.

"Nope." She frowned, popping the 'p'. "Lucky for him. Otherwise I've would've slapped his  corpse."

Felix looks at her in shock when she looked into the shuttle properly, sighing as she analyzed the broken parts. "No Cy-Bug, either. Gotta find it before it lays its filthy eggs."

. . . . .

Calhoun holds out her scanner, Felix begins as he gulped, looking at the broken trees around the taffy. "It came this way, but the sugar particles in the atmosphere are jamming my sensor!"

She smacks it as the sensor continues to beep at a rapid place, green dots appearing in radon directions. "Can't get a read on it!"

"So what is it with this Wreck-It Joker, Huh?" She questions, holding out the sensor before smacking it again. "Why'd he go AWOL?"

"I wish I knew, ma'am." Felix shrugs helplessly, a frown on his face. "He was acting all squirrelly last night... going on about cake and medals, I-I think he was lonely. But I never thought he'd go Turbo."

"Could've at least gotten himself a girlfriend and what do you mean by 'Go Turbo?'"

Felix laughed a little at Calhoun comment before realizing; "That's right. You guys just got pulled in..."

. . . . .

"Well, back when the arcade first opened, Turbo Time was the most popular game."

Two boys were yelling in excitement as the blond watched the brunette ply Turbo Time, doing their secret hand shake as Turbo looked at the screen.

He gave a thumbs up. "Turbo-tastic!"

"And Turbo... ugh, he loved the attention."

Turbo smiles cheekily, his yellow teeth and yellow eye bright as he pushed 3rd and 2nd place to the side, flaunting with the trophy the trophy in his hands. "Turbo-tastic!"

"So, when RoadBlasters got pulled in and stole Turbos' thunder..."

A younger Lit-wak rolled RoadBlasters behind the two boys, plugging it up as the blond quickly ran over to check it out, his blond friend hesitating before joining. "New game? Alright!"

"Boy! Was he jealous!"

Turbo looked at the boys before zeroing in on RoadBlasters, a uncharacteristic frown on his face as he gripped the steering wheel.

"So jealous that he abandoned his game and tried to take over the new one."

Turbo cruised across the cords of the arcade, finally making it to RoadBlasters as the boys continued to play.

"These are the greatest graphics I've ever seen!" The brunette gushed, leaning on the game as the blond played.

"Turbo-tastic!"

Turbo drove across the background of the game, confusing the teenagers as the blond's player crashed. "Hey, is that...? That looks like Turbo."

The brunette looked back at Turbos' game as the blond started to complain. "Whats Turbo doing in this game? Aw, come on!"

"Turbo-taStIc!" Turbo crash's into the The blond player, causing the screen to glitch and black out as Turbo kept his smile, borderline insane as the brunette raised his hand.

"Mr. Lit-wak!"

"Turbo ended up putting both game and himself out. Of. Order, for good."

Lit-wak unplugged the games without much difficulty, not too long after, he watched as the maintenance workers drag them out of the arcade with a frown.

. . . . .

"Yes, the selfish man is like a mangy dog chasing a cautionary tale." Calhoun mused, waving he sensor as the two walk on a doubled-stripped branch.

"I know, right?" Felix exclaimed before slumped. "That's why I have to get Ralph home or the amass things gonna happen to my game—"

The branch they were standing on bleeped twice before disintegrating, cussing them to scream in surprise before grunting when they landed.

"Agh!"

"Egh!?"

"What is this?!" Calhoun raised her arms in disgust, looking up and noticing a sign. "Nesquik Sand?!"

"Quick sand?" Felix repeated before smiling nervously. "Oh, I'll hop out and grab you one of those vines."

"Huh!" Felix looked at the quick sand questionably before again. "Hup!"

Felix widened his eyes in panic as he started to sink. "I can't hop. I'm hop-less. This is hopeless!! We're gonna drown here!"

He started to claw at the quick sand, flinging it around everywhere as Calhoun started to sink with him, her words falling on deaf ears as he hyperventilated. "Stop thrashing! Stop moving! You're making us sink faster!"

"WE'RE GONNA DIE!!"

"Get ahold of yourself!"

"Ow!"

Felix stared in shocked silence when Calhoun slapped him back into reality, the two looking up when they heard laughter.

Seeing the vines move closer to them, opened-mouth smiles on them. "The vines. They're Laffy Taffy!"

Felix smiles at his realization, turning to Calhoun. "They're attracted to whatever makes them laugh. Here, hit me again!"

Calhoun cautiously leaned forward to a prepared handy-man, tapping his cheek lightly.

"Awwwww!!"

The vines groaned and frowned as they pulled themselves back up, Felix looking at the soldier desperately. "That's not funny enough. Harder!"

Calhoun looked at him awkwardly. "Look, you're a nice guy. I can't—"

"No, ma'am!" Felix yelled, his eyes wide. "The arcade is depending on us! Now do you're Duty!"

Calhoun looked at him resolute, a determined frown on her face as he continued. "That's a ord—oh!"

The vines immediately canes back down, laughing loudly as Felix smiles.

"It's working! Hit me again."

Calhoun nodded and looked back at him, flinching with a wince. "Ooh, your eye."

"I can fix it!" Felix reaches into the quick sand to pull out his hammer, aiming toward his half-near swollen face as he looked at her optimistically. "Now—"

She punched him right in the the nose, the thing swelling up as big a ball as Felix cringed at the pain. "Oh! San Fran-tastic! Again—!"

Straight to the mouth! His teeth now misshapen, causing his speech to south muffled. "Ow! You mean business!"

"HAHAHAAHAHA!"

"Ow! Yikes on bikes!"

Calhoun exhaled as she continued to hit him over and over as Felix hammered his face. "Wow! We're—oh-oh! Killing—Ow! Them— Ah!"

Felix focuses on the longest vine before grabbing it, making the taffy whimper as the two held onto each other all the way to the top.

Calhoun looked at Felix in wonder as he looked back, the two staring at each other as the vines began to vocalize.

"Lalalala~"

"Ahhh—ahh~"

Felix and Calhoun smiled at each other, the air becoming thick as the vines continued their whimsical singing, creating a heart around them.

"Lalalala~"

"OoOhhh~"

Calhoun groaned in annoyance, pulling her pistol from the holder and shooting the air, scaring the taffies and Felix. "Alright, enough with the goo-goo eyes! We've got work to do, let's go!"

. . . . .

Jumping from the tree, Calhoun growled under her breath. "Ugh. We lost the Cy-Bug."

She looked down at Felix before beckoning him over when she stared walking. "Come on. We'll get a view from the air. You think you can fix the shuttle?"

With a small blush in his face from earlier, Felix nodded and pulled out his hammer with a smug expression. "Can do."

From beneath them, under the ground. The Cy-Bug crawled through the tunnels it's made, noticing a candied root and sniffing at it before snagging a bite.

It screeched as it turned into the colors of the root, now in a candied form as it crawled forward.
